Update See Prior Review Below…read more I genuinely cannot believe this response. At no point did anyone tell me that my dress could not be properly altered before altering it. In fact, I specifically asked multiple times whether they were capable of altering this particular dress because of its design, and I was repeatedly reassured that they could. They then altered my dress TWICE, and both times it was crooked. So please stop rewriting what happened to make it sound like I was warned in advance. I was not. If your staff knew they could not properly alter the dress, they should have told me that BEFORE taking scissors to it and damaging it. I did not need or want a "brand new dress." I needed MY EXISTING $345 DRESS TO NOT BE DAMAGED after trusting your business with it. And as anyone reading this can clearly tell, your customer service is honestly ass. Instead of taking accountability for a mistake that happened during YOUR alteration, you and your staff have continued to make excuses, shift blame, and tell different versions of the story. This was not a simple misunderstanding. This was over a WEEK of exhausting back-and-forth conversations over the phone and in person, while I repeatedly tried to get someone to take accountability and give me a straight answer. By the end, I was so mentally exhausted and tired of the ongoing lies and excuses from your staff that I accepted the $200 check and stopped pushing for the full cost of my $345 dress. That does not mean I was satisfied. It means I was tired of dealing with your business. The biggest issue is not even that the alteration went wrong. Mistakes happen. The issue is that when your business makes a mistake, apparently your response is to deny, deflect, blame the customer or the dress, and then publicly act like you did everyone a favor. Take some accountability. Your response to this review has only proven exactly why my experience with your customer service was so horrible.
