The best dry cleaning! Staff very friendly and always do their best to dry cleaning items last minute. Prices very reasonable.

This place used to be good but has fallen apart. They do not open when they say they do: often 20 min late so you have to wait outside. Much worse: dishonest practices. I'll often let them charge me for two pick ups at a time. I'm here every couple weeks and it saves them on CC fees. They just pulled out four tickets going back two months and charged me 82 dollars for six shirts to be cleaned. It's so old I have no proof that I've paid them. I would definitely avoid. Too bad. Have come here for years but that's the last straw. read more

Thoroughly disappointed... After reading all of the raving reviews here on Yelp, and calling to check on pricing, I decided to take my 30+ items in need of dry cleaning to this specific location. My apartment was flooded and most of my bedding and clothes were damaged, so it was extremely important for them to successfully restore whatever items survived the flood, as they were all I had left. After about a week, I came to pick up all of my items, two of which still smelled terrible, as if they simply threw them in the washing machine... If that's the case, what am I paying them for?! I can do that myself! Seeing my disappointment, the owner offered to re-wash these two items for me, so I accept and return the next day to pick them up. Having given them 30+ items to dry-clean, it was rather difficult making sure that everything had been returned to me, as I never imagined it necessary to make a list. To my surprise, I find my $60 special cooling pillow laying out as trash in the back alley, soaking wet... Not only did they just decide to toss out my expensive pillow and not even mention this incident to me, but they didn't even offer me a refund! They tried hiding the fact, then once I called them out, she offered to go purchase me a replacement... To make matters even worse, she never purchased this replacement for me, nor did she even bother to contact me again. As if having my home flooded and losing so many of my belongings isn't stressful enough! I can't believe I prepaid them $250 for this pathetic excuse of a service. I find it hard to believe that they returned the rest of my items to me, and can only assume that they damaged and withheld others. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place. read more

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT bring your clothes here for dry cleaning. I was a loyal customer for years since they are so close to my office and even set up in the building during lunch for drop off/pick ups. On a couple of occasions, I got dresses back that weren't perfectly cleaned and I let those go without bringing it up since it's so affordable. In April, I gave them a $200 jacket and never saw it again. They claimed they never received it! They hadn't given me a slip and I hadn't thought to ask since I had been dropping my dresses and shirts off with them for years! Yesterday I went back with 3 dresses, a shirt and a jacket and they didn't have any slips with them so they told me to come back today so they could provide me a slip. I desperatley needed a blouse and skirt dry cleaned and ready to go for a shoot on a Sunday. I came to Palmieri Cleaners at about 3:30pm on a Saturday when everyone else in town was either A. closed B. didn't operate their machines on the weekend C. didn't offer immediate turn around service. The lady here said she would try her best to get it done for me and to come back at 5. At 4:55pm I missed the turn-in to park behind the building and was forced to take a right turn, putting me back on the 101 freeway, all the way back to Van Nuys Blvd!!! In a complete panic (knowing they were closing and leaving AT 5) I called the lady and she said she'd wait for me. When I finally got back there (not only was she kind enough to wait for me) my clothes were cleaned, pressed, and ready to go. The most amazing part of all, it was only $10! I was so happy I gave her a tip. I highly recommend this place. If coming from Ventura, make SURE you take the FIRST right at the light, otherwise you'll get into the same predicament that I did. On Valentine's Day I headed to work dressed and ready for nighttime dinner. I had an accident and got my dress shirt dirty during work a few hours before the dinner. Was sent here by another dry cleaner in the area since they do same day cleaning on Saturday. All of my shirts were burned. Even after having them cleaned at a different cleaner, there are still burn marks on my shirts. Yes, they're fast, convenient, and CHEAP... but you get what you pay for... spare your shirts and find another cleaner. read more

The lady who owns this dry cleaners works wonders! I brought in a white fur coat with lipstick stains and drink spills on it, and she was able to get them all out! Plus she is extremely reasonable with her prices! This was a full length fur coat, and she dry cleaned it for $15! She is so sweet and personable, and does amazing work! The people who work at this place are friendly, efficient, caring, and thus far have not had any snafus with anything I have given them. It is like going to a neighborhood place where they remember you and treat you like a valued customer. They send their alterations out, but whoever does it does a very good job. Took a coat there that was quoted as 120 to do in Bev Hills, and they did it for 40 and it couldn't have been done better. It was a complex project where they had to take it up at the shoulder not the sleeve. Dry cleaning is always excellent too. I take everything there and recommend them highly. I used Palmieri cleaners for the first time last week based on their very high rating on yelp, but they lost a $ 180 shirt from Nordstrom that was only worn 2- 4 times. This shirt was missing when I went to pick up my 5 items. They claimed it was stained & sent to another facility, which I found strange. They did not call me back as promised to deliver it to my house before the weekend. When I finally called, they said the shirt was ready for pick up. However, at pick up, Vilma tried to give me another shirt in place of it that had someone else's name tag & pick up number attached to it. She knew very well that this was not my shirt but I guess she was hoping I would take it anyhow. She the explained that she has an ineffeicient new hire that she cannot replace because it is very difficult to find dry cleaning personnel. This action was worse than the fact that they lost the shirt. About 2 weeks later, I brought my Nordstrom receipt to get reimbursement, which she did reluctantly. But even then, she tried to give me another customer's shirt. I will never use this service again & do not recommend them to anyone because of their lack of professionalism when dealing with a lost item. read more
