It's dark inside the store but I like that because it makes the experience less sterile. I love the sweaters and beach coverups here because I find them never going out of style and always fashion forward. It's the luck of the draw. My last visit happened to be on a day where the kids were very busy putting stuff on the shelves and restocking, so they were very busy focusing on that and barely made any attempt to greet or help customers. The store also had a great clearance section with tons of options - worth going through! Crocs are my favorite around the house shoe, especially when cleaning. In fact once I stepped into this place it was hard to leave as I kept wanting to walk over and see everything. The buyer for this place has a great eye and that extends to shoes. They said no problem, just come on over and we'll take good care of you. We were so excited to upgrade our racket collection and support a small business in a time when it's so convenient to just order online and wait for the item to arrive. But guess what? Because of traffic, we ended up arriving at 5:02 PM and the door was locked! I managed to get a girl to open the door just a crack, and I explained to her through the crack that we had been driving for an hour and a half to come and spend some serious money. We had called ahead and they had told us it wasn't a big deal. But the girl couldn't care less. She said they close at 5 PM and there was nothing we could do. We were so disappointed that we just went back to our car and drove back home to Palm Beach. I'm afraid we won't be coming back to the Tennis Plaza anytime soon. It's a shame because the very same people who are supposed to give great customer service are the ones who can destroy your small business. I can't say anything about the quality of the store, but the customer service is definitely 1 star.
