I had an MRI of my back here. The building is just north…read moreof that ugly Best Buy store. Parking is easy. The checkin and service was professional. But the 25 minutes I spent in the "tube" was very stressful. Worse than expected. They ask you before if you're claustrophobic - who knows until you get in there? I had the prone position (lying down) type. (The sitting option is better, but I read the images are not as clear for the doctors.) I declined the use of blinders - but later I realized I wish I had them on. It's a very tight fit. But the worst is the noises made when the images are created by the MRI. And the noise cancelling ear muffs don't help much. It would have helped if I had taken a sedative beforehand. Or, better yet, have a little wine. (You could drink it in your car before you enter the building.) I'll do everything in my power to never have another MRI !

But the date keeps getting pushed farther out with no explanation except they are swamped. I have a doctor appt coming up. I have told them that but it doesn't seem to matter. I even had my doctor's office call and they got the same run around. I think this is unacceptable. At least give me an honest answer instead of the standard lines.

Pulled up to the ER, three people assisted me inside with a wheelchair, I had X-rays and found out it was only a very painful sprain, and was on my way home within an hour. An HOUR. Talk about drive through service, it was the best experience I've ever had in a hospital. The staff were LOVELY, very kind, they matched my anxious humor and made me feel safe and comfortable. This experience was the best one I've ever had with any medical professionals. They didn't question my pain or leave me waiting for hours like other emergency rooms I've been to have in the past. They were very sincere and caring and if I ever need anything, I'm going to this hospital.

I needed medical service that my doctors office can't do so I needed to find an outside facility…read moreand not to mention it was 1/6 of my co payment through my insurance so I'm down. I went online through my insurance web site and it was very confusing trying to figure out pricing because it showed the aver price of $1600 for the area but my first call to verify the price resulted in a $15000 quote, WTF. When my doctors office called to tell me that my order was ready and I explained the $15000 price quote and I was informed that's way out of wack. Thankfully she called me back with a recommendation for MDI and even called to verify a complete cost of under $170 for what I need, out of pocket mind you but I'm ok with that, she went way above to help me. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience as painless as possible and out the door in 20 minuets. I would definitely stop back again becaus this was affordable compaired to quotes from the area medical facilities and my own insurance company with my co pay.
