I visited a different SimonMed location and was pretty disappointed in the service I received. I was so happy I switched to this location! The Clermont location has plenty of parking. The waiting room has lots of seating and the women at the front desk are friendly. I was told this location as plenty of availability compared to other SimonMed locations. This proved to be true since I was able to always get appointments quickly and at days and times I wanted. Everything is so clean, from the waiting room to the screening rooms to the restrooms. The bedside manner is wonderful. We had the same technician twice. The technician went step by step with us during my ultrasound to make sure we could see everything. She was sure to get some good pictures of our baby so we had pictures to take home. read more

The whole two hours I was sitting in an empty waiting room with not a soul in sight. Finally at 7pm when I went back I had the person supposed to be performing the service talk me out of getting the scan done as a whole. I mentioned having chronic pain and being claustrophobic and was told by the SimonMed manager that the experience would be only 45 minutes to an hour prior to my arrival when I got there one of the technicians tells me it would be more like 1 hour and 45 minutes ??? I'm like what?? [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tell her what the manager said and she looked and shook her head ?!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ( a sign of what is to come no doubt ) I should have left then but didn't I continued the process . So now before going into the tube of Satan, I answer all preliminary questions they need about my health issues and details about metals blah blah , I'm provided earbuds and a headset and some squeeze thing and I'm told I will be able to communicate while in :the tube - so after about 40 -50 minutes in the tube, my back starts to lock up something fierce and I ask politely to them how much time is left. as my back is starting act up - I receive zero response from anyone : I wait another 5 minutes now my back is radiating and squeeze the ball ask tell them "Hello I'm in pain how much time is left can I come out for a break ? Silence is golden again No answer . [[HIGHLIGHT]]I must have yelled like 4-5 times HELLO HELLO!! Radio silence . Now I'm getting P.O'd I even start shaking my legs out of the machine - no one responds Bullshit![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So now I'm thinking apparently no one is monitoring me if this is intentional and they don't want to stop the machine because it may cost money ? Although I am leaving a review, I am sure that it won't make any difference to the operation of this place. The owners obviously don't read the reviews because they don't comment on any of them. I had an appointment scheduled and when I got there they told me they were running an hour behind. I asked some of the people in the waiting room with their original appointment times were it turned out that they lied and we're running more like two hours behind. I rescheduled for the next day. Before I left the house, I called the scheduling department and asked them if they were running on time. They assured me they were. I got to the site and once again they told me they were running an hour behind except this time when I asked the people in the waiting room, it turned out they were running 2 1/2 hours behind. I booked an appointment for a different location for the following week. Upon talking to the receptionist, I determined that they allocate 15 minutes for MRIs without contrast and 30 minutes for MRIs with contrast. This is nowhere near long enough to perform these tests. If you have the opportunity to use any other imaging service, please do so. read more

I cannot believe this staff cannot make an appointment correctly. The first time the machines went down, so lets make you wait another 10 days. So then I get booked at another location only to find out they can't do contrast there. Now I get a call the day before telling me we can't do contrast at the times we booked you that's too late. After my appointment was canceled an hour before, I came in for my appointment. Waited over an hour past my appointment time and no one seemed to care. They just told me "they're behind." Cool, if I had "been behind" and came late for my appointment it wouldn't fly. So why is ok for them to have people waiting this long, and we're just supposed to be ok. I don't know what happened to this location. The first two times I came I was in and out in 25 min for 2-3 tests. Then I came in for a ct and it was so bad. I waited almost 2 hours and the girl had no apology or anything. First they cancelled my appt day of because they said the didn't schedule me for the right one because I needed and ultrasound too. So I rescheduled. I come in at the time the kid told me (same kid that cancelled day of). [[HIGHLIGHT]]He said I was an hour late. So I had to reschedule even though I put it in as he told me the time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So I come in for the reschedule third time and I get here at 2 and their line is out the door so I do their online check in. Then I wait my turn to make sure they don't need the order form. they say your appt was at two. Keep in mind it is 2:15 at this point. So they start acting like it's this big issue because the radiologist wants to leave early. So I got a bit upset. They talked to them and finally agreed to do it but it wasn't without a bit of a fight. Then I apologize that I got upset and explained that it has been weighing heavy on me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I called the number, verifying I'm at the right place. The woman in the office assured me they were open. I explained a locked door and no one there typically means closed. SimonMed in Clermont is awesome! I am extremely claustrophobic and Hailey was able to help me and ease my mind about having an MRI that I have to go in head first. The Worst facility I will never come back here. Not only did they take 3 visits to find my paperwork. They made me wait the first time for 35 minutes before telling me they couldn't find my order and that was only because I asked what the hold up was. My visit was rescheduled. Then I received a call the day before saying they didn't have the proper staff scheduled for my upcoming appointment. So we rescheduled a third time. The day of my appointment I waited yet again for them to find my referral order. After waiting almost 2 hours I still hadn't been seen. I called simonmed and made an appt for Ocoee for a PET scan. Made the appt (I thought), fasted, protein diet etc as instructed and went at 830 for the appt and they told me I was not scheduled. I said, can they do it anyway. NO was the answer. I asked to speak to the manager. He never got to me because he was working a line of patients. I was frustrated and left. I took off work, drove a half hour to get there and did not have an appt because someone at SimonMed did not complete the appt schedule. And you cant make this appt on line. you have to speak with someone. I have rescheduled and this time, I have a confirmation email. Now, I would have gone somewhere else, but it seems they are the only game in town for this test without driving to Orlando. Just finished and had a great experience. All the staff was kind and helpful. I went for one test and then was planning on scheduling an X-ray I needed for a later time. Karen in the front was so sweet and helpful. She was able to get me in right away, despite also helping the girl at the front desk with another patient. The X-ray tech come to get me before I even finished paying!! They seem to get a little backed up with certain procedures (mri) from what I saw, but were very good about assuring patients and keeping everything moving. I went in for an ultrasound, ended up also getting X-rays and I was in and out. read more

I spent two weeks calling this place to schedule a CT scan on my lungs. No one ever answered the phone, no one returned the call. I tried several times a day each day. I needed to have my scan done there so my doctor could compare the results with my previous one as I have growths on my lungs they are watching. Now I am at a new place. Closer to home and very responsive. Simon in Clermont and Leesburg are the same completely impossible to contact and rude on the occasions you do get there. read more

Had a mammogram and ultrasound there today. Tristan did the mammogram. She was friendly, polite, and capable. After completing the test, she checked with the person who would be analyzing the results to see whether additional views were needed. The women who preformed the ultrasound were equally conscientious. They also checked to make sure my previous results were in the computer. The small women's waiting area (between tests) had tv and bottles of water. Excellent service! read more

Nice facility! I was in and out in no time. The staff was great. Explained everything before I went in the MRI and alleviated my fears.

I arrived directly from my doctor's office with orders for a bone density ultrasound and a mammogram. I really expected both to consume the rest of the afternoon but to my delight, this staff was really on the ball! I didn't even have time to finish filling out the forms before I was being called in for my testing. Once inside, I had two of the nicest technicians, Tristan/Mammo and Jennifer/bone density ultrasound, explaining everything as they did the testing quickly and efficiently. There was literally no waiting between the two tests. I found everyone to be very efficient, professional and friendly. They are experts in making you feel comfortable. Unfortunately, not all diagnostic centers are like this. I would give more than 5 stars if I could and highly recommend this facility for a pleasant, stress-free experience. Great staff! read more

I did have to wait a bit for my exam, which is to be expected but once I got in I was greeted with a smile, thorough explanation as to what I was to expect, and complete professionalism from my technologist. Beware of billing department! Took insurance card at time of service and advised payment over $800 with insurance. Followed up with insurance and they never billed insurance. Phone call to SimonMed to ask them to bill insurance. Once they did, I found out payment was only supposed to be $270. Fighting to get my refund back. Customer service submits billing disputes but with bogus information. Crooked and incompetent. read more

The first time that I heard that they wanted me to pay was when I received a call that they were turning it over to a collection agency. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a zero. I had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound done there with instructions to have a follow up in 6 months. In 6 months, I was back home and called to schedule the follow-up. I was told that I needed a copy of the CD from SimonMed before they could schedule the follow-up. I filled out the paperwork and faxed it to SimonMed. The recorded message said that the CD would be sent out within a week. I waited 3-4 weeks and no CD, so I tried to call. The telephone message system was very annoying to try to get to a human being. When I finally did get to a human being, she checked and said that they had in fact received my faxed request and apologized that it had obviously been overlooked. She said that she would put in a priority request to have it sent out immediately. After 10 days with no sign of the CD, I tried calling again. I was disconnected 4 times. I don't know what to do, but it is certain that I will never set foot in a SimonMed facility again. read more

I called and asked if I could speak to the doctor/radiologist prior to my MRI appointment next week, per my specialist's directions, and was told no. I asked if I could send an email or request a phone call or speak to him in person. I was told that wasn't possible, nor was it possible even for the woman answering the phone to talk to the doctor/radiologist. When I asked if I could talk to him immediately before the MRI appointment, I was told possibly, "it depends on whether we're busy." Seriously? Are these medical professionals trying to help people get diagnosed correctly and healed? Or is this a processing plant? What doctor is unavailable to patients??? This reminds me of the Wizard of Oz, with the untouchable, mysterious wizard hiding away somewhere. Of course the doctor can't talk to every patient, and not every patient requests this. Help should be provided by first line employees when possible (receptionists, schedulers, etc.), and then second line employees when possible (nurses, techs, etc.), and when that still isn't sufficient, the doctor should be available! read more

I had an appointment last week and when I got there, they told me that the machine was broken and I have to reschedule. They rescheduled me for today at 3:30 pm. They call me pretty fast and they did the mammography. The girl from the mammogram was sweet. They told me to change again and to wait for the doctor. I waited and then she told me that they forgot that I had an order for a Sonogram too. I changed back and she told me to wait. I waited and at 4:30 pm I ask the secretary if they forgot about me and she said no and told me to go back and wait. She didn't check or talk to anyone about it. I waited and at 5:00 pm I decided to change my clothes again and go ( the place close at 5) When the secretary saw me she was really surprise to see me and ask me if no one came. I said no and she didn't apologize or anything she just gave me another appointment. As I was leaving, I saw the personal leaving as well. Total waste of time! read more
