called me and scheduled an appointment told me I would be done by 1:45. I get here for my appointment and they say that it's walk in only for X-rays I told them I had to be done by 2 o'clock, which is why I scheduled the appointment it is 2 o'clock and I still have not been called. so I basically just wasted my time and gas driving here for this appointment that was never an appointment. Their scheduler is telling people your scheduled when you're not so it's really ridiculous to be scheduling appointments if there's no appointment scheduled and you're just a walk in when you get here. The ladies at the front are very unhelpful. They just sit there, laughing and glancing at you knowing you're in a rush and you have to be done by a certain time. read more

I would call ahead to make sure they have your Dr's orders because it's not simonmed fault for not having the orders for exams. Or take the orders with you just in case. You schedule an appointment for week(s) in advance, then the day of or day before your appointment comes and they call telling you they have to reschedule because they don't have a technician to do your scans. I had my doctor's order for the Dexa scan. I sent it to SimonMed in Buckeye after I scheduled the appt. I filled in the online forms ahead of time. I arrived at the facility 15 minutes early. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked what the problem was and if I should just reschedule. They said no, you should be called any minute. I waited another 10 minutes and then I walked out. I called SimonMed and they opened an incident report. I cancelled the appointment and my doctor is still waiting for the results. I will never return to this place. read more

Don't do their online ppwrk. Took 20 min to complete and didn't even save. Had to do it all again when I arrived. Office phone number just rings and rings. Never goes to voicemail. Just tells you to call back another time and hangs up on you. Actual mammagram was very fast. Kind of a whirl wind. But I was out 3 minutes after my appt began so I'm grateful it didn't last long. The day of my appointment, the tech was not aware she was scheduled for that day. Needless to say, things were delayed about an hour. After eventually getting through the appointment, everything was to be sent to my primary doctor within 3-5 business days...3 weeks later this has not yet happened. Attempted for over an hour to connect with someone at SimonMed over the phone for a status update only to learn things have not yet moved through their system for whatever reason. This was after being disconnected multiple times, referred to the website that sends you in circles and only takes you back to the malfunctioning AI chat box. If you want/need answers from your imaging and to feel like you're more than just $$, I would suggest going a different route. This, unfortunately is an issue company wide and not with this specific location. read more

Just go somewhere else. Save yourself the frustration. I schedule a CT scan more than 10 days in advance, only to be called the morning of saying they didn't have a tech. Called to reschedule a week later (couldn't even get me scheduled on a time sensitive issue) and got a call from the facility 2 days later saying they didn't have a tech. I am so frustrated and am now having my doctor send my orders elsewhere. The Buckeye location is closest to me, but I'm beginning to think an hour on the road is still going to be less frustrating than to keep trying at this place. I've had issues with x-rays and mammograms too, so it's not just CT. We need better out here. read more

A lot of things- 1.Maybe check patient allergies before scheduling them for a procedure where the patient is allergic to the product to be used. 2. Don't lie about amount of co-pay when speaking with patient in office, then double bill. 3. Have the time "manager" to talk to your customer. I do commend the person who eventually wound up completing my exam- but I do think there is much room for improvement with your company. read more

Simon Med Imaging...I've been there twice now. The staff are very respectful and pleasant. No problems whatsoever with them. I give them an A+. My issue is this company uses a call center oversees to schedule our appointments. I absolutely do not like my information being handled in a foreign country. Last week I had to call them to set up an appointment. I got there this morning and my appointment wasn't in their system. Lucky for me the young lady fit me in. If you have to make an appointment go to the office and they will gladly get you set up unless ladies it's for your breast exam then unfortunately we have to call at the main number. Ugh! I know the staff gets a lot of complaints everyday about this problem. If the owner of this business is reading this smarten up and let your employees do the scheduling. We need the jobs here not some foreign country. All because you want to save a buck. Disgusting! read more

Scheduled an MRI, as requested by my Dr. Received numerous emails, texts, and phone call reminders...really!?! Isn't one, maybe 2, enough? Went for MRI only to be told that after 2 attempts, the needed images could not be obtained because their machine was low resolution, and that I would need to go to another location. Rebooted appt in Goodyear because they had a high resolution machine. While normally this wouldn't be a big deal, I am in a LOT of pain. So having to wait for nearly 3 weeks for my appt in Buckeye and then another 2 weeks for my appt in Goodyear, was not optimal. No one wants to sit around in pain for 5 weeks waiting to get their results and begin treatment. In the future, I will only go to Goodyear. read more

the staff at the Buckeye AZ location are absolutely wonderful. the entire marketing department needs to be fired, the systems wiped clean and processes reinvented. As a retired marketing professional i know they have the systems in place to be a service to customers not an impediment. I received texts, automated phone calls and emails to schedule a follow up mammogram and ultrasound. Once the order was issued by my doctor tried following links in email and texts to schedule. could not get to the correct appointments. Called and finally got through and got appointments scheduled. five minutes after the call got a text the appointment had been moved to 30 minutes later. today i showed up at the later check in time only to be told the mammogram was at the original time. The staff was amazing and got me in even though it was an inconvenience to them. however I will instruct my doctors i will no longer use Simonmed even if I have to drive hours to get images. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. A handful of SimonMed medical staff told me conflicting information about my results and shared different stories about what to expect during my follow up procedure. They bullied me for asking questions about my options and tried to intimidate me to get a procedure that involved aspects I said beforehand that I would not consent to. They failed to put my statements about non consent in my file as well as the fact that I have breast implants, which could have had serious consequences if I had not happened to find out sooner than they hadn't notated that in my file. At this point, I don't even trust that they didn't get my results mixed up with another patient. I have had the worst medical experience of my life here and I'm looking into my legal options! read more

DO NOT USE SIMONMED IMAGING! They will over charge you up front and you may/or may not get your refund! I was charged $250 for a MRI on 10/29/2024 and again charged $250 for a Cat Scan on 12/5/2024. I am OWNED a refund of $187.89. On 1/6/2025 I was told the refund would be sent in 2-3 weeks. As of 1/27/2025 I have not received the refund. I was told today that it was mailed 1/10/2025! I will tell my doctors that I will no longer use this company! Period! They keep this money and invest it for interest on your dime!! read more

I called a local number for the Simon med on Watson in Buckeye. They are not the people who field the calls. They must roll over to a call center. The person that I spoke to was impatient, rude, and then finally condescending to the point where I said, you know what I will just call someone else. If this is the kind of service that this place provides then everybody is better off going somewhere else. I have been there before which is why I called them and it was not a good experience, but it is close to me and much better than going all the way to Mayo Clinic. but after this phone call, I will find someone else or I will go to another city because it's unbelievably pathetic that they're the only rude lazy uncaring place to get any kind of imaging done. Service is so so, but the worst is their accounting. I had to pay 200.00 before my MRI, then I received a bill for 476.60 after my insurance covered their portion. Then my insurance paid 297.44 from my health reimbursement account leaving a balance of 179.00. They continued to bill me 476.60 even after several phone calls and an email with copies of the disbursement's from my HRA. They kept telling me to ignore future letters and that they would update my account. 2 months later another bill in the mail showing a balance due of 476.60. I paid the 179.00 real balance owed and I will not even talk to them anymore. Horrible company and business avoid at all cost or be prepared to get ripped off read more

I have heard very inflammatory comments about this facility and their customer service, but I have given them a benefit of the doubt. I had stat orders for a test they only offer on a walk in basis. I arrived at 4:02 and stood in line. When I was finally asked to be helped, the receptionist curtly responded that they were not taking x-rays after 4:00. I respectfully noted the time and the directions on their specific web page. I also explained that I had left work early and that my physician called to make sure I was going in. She was unkind and made it clear she did not care. I've been there three times in the last few years and this is the third time I have been treated without kindness. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. 1. Front desk staff are rude af and have no idea what they're doing. They also speak to each other in Spanish. I know enough Spanish to know they're talking smack about me. It's rude and unprofessional. 2. They encourage you to book online but there is no way to do it! They can't locate your medical record and therefore you can't schedule online. This means you have to call. Every time I have called, I get someone who speaks in broken English and I can barely understand them. So aggravating! 3. Still forcing people to wear masks...come on now. That ship sailed. 4. The waiting room is dirty and it's always packed. I think their main goal is to pack as many people as they can in the waiting room, but provide no customer service. It's all about profit! 5. They will claim your copayment is $200 when I know for a fact it's $50. I argued with one of the girls at the desk and she said she'd contact their finance manager. Then she tried to say it's $100 copayment. Uh no it's not, it's $50. I know my insurance company better than you. Shame on them for trying to rip people off. They probably do this to so many people and then keep the extra money once insurance does pay. This is fraud!! 6. The people in the back are usually nice. The front desk girls could take a lesson from them. I wont be using Simon Med ever again. Where do I begin! The front desk staff are rude and condescending. When I asked why I was being charged $367 & then $256 I was told that was my "copay" and if I couldn't pay in full they could cancel my appointments! I was there for a breast cancer scare mammogram and ultrasound, thankfully it's only cysts! But have to be seen every 6 months forever! later I was talking to a friend about how it is impossible to have scans done every 6 months at this cost and was told to call my insurance company because they should be covered 100%! So I did, and found that I was covered 100% and they should have never charged me! I was seen in may 2023 & again in august 2023 and have yet to see my Refunds! They have been paid in full by my insurance company this is a full blown scam! I was told it takes 45 days to be refunded and haven't seen a dime back! It a complete scam! Do not use Simon med for anything! I will never go here again for any reason! I don't know how this is legal! Their billing department is non existent! I tried to go to the office to get receipts and was told they don't handle any of the billing there and I had to call and 800 number! If they can't tell me what I'm paying for with a detailed receipt they shouldn't be able to charge me for services! Seriously avoid this place at all costs! Save yourself the headache! I have now taken 2 full days off work on top of it to make phone calls and try to get refunds and I'm transferred around and told to call back in 7-10 days! It's insanity read more

So I have an appointment at this place, I get the text asking to fill out all my information, copy my insurance card and drivers license, get to the appointment and check in via the text letting them know I am there, I go inside and they have no record of my appointment. I am forced to reschedule, I get the text, same as above go through all the hoops, get there and AGAIN they have no record of my appointment. I get back in the car to go home and get a reminder text of my appointment they don't have. This place is absolutely horrible. Please find somewhere else to get your imaging done and save yourself the aggravation. read more

First the ultra sounds weren't even done correctly and I had to redo my ultra sound and pay an additional $200 else where. Then I set up a payment plan but the following month I had them calling asking me to pay in full so I did but yet they still took out the money for the payment plan the next month over charging me $145.15 and only refunding me $75.15. The office in Goodyear isn't any better either that's why I used the Buckeye office to be greatly disappointed again. Will never use SimonMed imaging. read more

She was amazing and made me feel comfortable right away, she was very competent and made the whole experience 5 stars! She was also so funny and I felt like a made a friend by the end of my appt. This review is for the lady who did my Mammogram yesterday, and the girl on the front desk who has been so helpful trying to get a CT scan approved by my Insurance. I've had several Mammograms before and this was the best so far. This Technician was so gentle, so kind, and so fast. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I wish I had her name so I could mention her here! I have also had a couple of ultrasounds at this facility, and the technicians were very nice too. I realize from the reviews that some people have not had good experiences, but I have been pleased each time I have been to SimonMed in Buckeye. read more

I just recently retired from a major hospital in Nebraska and if these ladies were working for me they would all be fired. I have another X-ray coming up and will give this place one more chance. Screw this visit up and I won't be back. The customer service is awful the manager here acts like a child when you are asking questions for clarity for a senior who isn't understanding what is being said to them. I use to come to this location and the Goodyear location when they had a gentleman named Glen working there. That was when they knew what customer service was! He treated seniors with care and respect. The Buckeye location manager Stacy Kenny does the complete opposite, she is rude, condescending and just laughs when you ask a question. You can't get through to the corporate office because you have to call the 800 number and once you ask for corporate they hang up and never transfer the call. You cannot get an xray scheduled. They will only do walk-ins for xrays. But that typically means you will have to wait way too long (two hours or more based on my experience) to finally get in. Happened to me again today. I expressed that concern at the front desk, and the gal said not to worry, she would get me in. I promptly received two texts saying I was scheduled...blah, blah. So I started waiting. Two and a half hours later (the gal looked directly at me every once in a while) I finally looked at the two texts again and saw that each had me scheduled at two different facilities other than the Buckeye location I was at. So I went back to the counter, told the gal I was confused. Turns out she was. Who are you, she asked. So we had to start all over. Anway I finally got in, but then they couldn't do the xray because the order was for "the wrong ankle." read more

I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years....12 in radiology. I've been to the McDowell location first = horrible. Dirty, people are rude and not a great experience at all. Second time I tried Buckeye. It's clean but so so cold, the atmosphere is grim, very non-welcoming, no teamwork, everyone seemed unhappy working there. In my opinion, if your staff isn't happy then your clients won't be happy. Atmosphere is a lot from waiting rooms to staff. Being new in AZ this is frightening. You call...no answer, schedule online and there is no record. Also I've never heard of a radiology clinic taking so long for results...especially when utilizing PACS. ??? I miss being a clinic manager when I see clinics like these...I feel for the staff/patients/clients, and now I am one! Eek! read more
