I was having jaw soreness for about a week and asked him about a mouth guard and he told me to take aspirin when that happens, that a mouth guard is a huge expense and only worth it if it's an every night thing. I appreciate him being honest and not trying to just get money out of me. I once recommended my friend go to see him because she was in a lot of pain. She called him and that same day they squeezed her into his schedule. He's a wonderful doctor. I highly recommend him!

He told me I would feel a pinch but I never felt a thing. I honestly could have fallen asleep while he was working on me because none of his movements were jarring or rough. I am appreciative that he got me in, thankful to interact with his lovely office manager, amazed at how painless it was, and grateful his prices are fair because I didn't have my insurance card. Dr. Goodale's office was it from the moment I first spoke to the receptionist Jessica. She was friendly, patient and easy to understand, which is really saying something these days. When I got the the office and sat down with D for my x-rays, she was very comforting and communicative, laying out everything I needed to do and checking in with me throughout to make sure I was good. Then Dr. Goodale came in with great energy and an obvious desire to 1. explain everything extremely clearly and patiently and 2. make sure I was at ease and comfortable. She did my cleaning personally and took my request seriously for caution around certain sensitive areas. She even asked if I was cool with the music they had playing. And then to top if off she gave me the best cleaning I've ever had - my teeth are prone to staining so they were looking pretty rough after a year gap between my last dentist visit. I had even been told by previous hygienists they couldn't do much about the stains. Dr. Goodale got them so white my wife was actually shocked because she had forgotten I had normal teeth. Really can't recommend this place enough I just with that all healthcare providers treated their customers with such grace and empathy, not to mentioned good old fashioned skill at their profession. They made an appoint for me and said I would have to pay $350.00 out of pocket for a CT scan before the root canal. I agreed. When I got there the Dentist said the CT scan was actually $400.00 and she couldnot do the root canal without it. She also took a full set of X-Rays even though I just had them done one week before and gave her " Oh, I can't do this root canal you have to go to a specialist". All she did was look in my mouth and tell me what a terrible job my dentist did on my cap and how she would have done a better job. Then she walked me to the receptionist to make sure I was going to pay for the CT scan that was totaly unnecessary. I had the root canal done at Aspen Dental...no CT scan needed.
