I had crappy insurance that is not in their circuit and I chose to pay a little higher cash price than perhaps I could get somewhere else just because of the level of customer service and caring at this facility. We made an appointment which was 2 months away from the evaluation. (soonest availability) The day of the appointment, (10 minutes before leaving to Morgantown) I received a call saying he could not do the procedure because I needed an oral surgeon to do it and be put to sleep. I took off days from work for this. He had 2 months to look over my x rays again and see what he could do. But regardless, from day 1 he assured me it would be just fine. I called and expressed my frustration and the inconvenience they caused me. The dentist was very inconsiderate and disrespectful of the situation, he later told me he could do the top 2 and have the bottom 2 done by the oral surgeon. Then, they told me another doctor will be coming into their office on May 17 and he does surgeries like this often, but they still only use nitrous gas for the procedure. Which does not make sense if the dentist already there could not do the procedure because I needed to be asleep. The soonest appointment that was available with an actual Oral surgeon is in August. Now after all this waiting, anticipation, discomfort and canceling jobs with my clients, I have to wait FOUR months to get this resolved. This place screwed me! I am very upset and in extreme pain. This is not how you handle patients. Thank you for all the bullsh*t you put me through. It was extremely unprofessional. I hope everyone reads this and knows how you handle your patients.

I have not rated that practice out of respect, but I can tell you immediately, Westen is amazing! First, Emily, my dental hygienist, was professional, kind, gentle, and compassionate. She explained every single step of the process clearly. My teeth felt so clean afterward! During my cleaning, my one single crown came loose--I've had trouble with this crown since the beginning. I am actually so glad it did come loose! Because then Dr. Evans came in and identified the problem with that crown. I am now set up to have this forever problematic crown fixed, with a professional team I trust. They also lay out the treatment plan clearly, as well as the expected bill. Dr Hayes was going to replace the crown on my implant. When the crown came in Dr Hayes said he drilled down to far and stripped the screw head which destroyed my implant. Smiles Dentistry had to pay for two additional implants to partially repair the damage that Dr Hayes did to my jaw. I am still having to deal with issues on that dead implant due to Dr Hayes negligence and may have to have surgery to have it removed. Dr. Hayes has caused me much pain and suffering due to his mistake. I do not recommend anyone with implants to let Dr Hayes treat them.

If you are using this group to extract for dentures, I would not recommend them. I had my upper…read moreteeth removed for dentures and no help or information was provided to me for care and healing of my mouth after the denture was seated in place. I wasn't told if and when the denture could be removed, if I should rinse or care for my mouth, when I should resume my regular medications, nothing. I wasn't told provided a pamphlet that would have been helpful had I had implants or no dentures at all. But nothing on what to do after the denture was placed. I did get help from my regular dentist who made the dentures and who I will be working with, but nothing from the people who remove my teeth and pushed me out the door. I only gave them a 3 stars because they were very professional in contacting my insurance company and collect the balance due from me before the surgery. They were efficient in medical monitoring and I don't think I have anything negative on the prep for surgery. It's the aftercare and lack of aftercare and instructions that makes me mad. And the 4 phone calls I made and leaving a message that I was "pissed" before they called me back.
