Been going to Dr. Simon for years after my prostrate cancer. He and his staff are simply the best at what they do.

My wife and I both scheduled appointments with Dr. Yalamanchi and we are so glad we did. The…read morereviews in the past are regarding wait time and contacting the office via phone, which was a problem in the past when the office was having a difficult time scheduling and manning the phones. However, that is no longer happening. You can now schedule appointments online and the phone wait time is not bad at all. The schedulers are pleasant and very friendly. Yes, it takes awhile to get to see the doctor, but they will also make an exception if you can't wait, or if a test result is deemed important to consult with the doctor. They also have practitioner nurses who can care for lesser problems, prescribe meds, and order tests. Overall, I'm certain that your experience with Atlantic Coast Gastro will be pleasant, thorough and caring.

I can never get through to the office by phone, and when I leave messages, they're rarely returned…read more Wait times in the office are excessive, and it's very difficult to secure an appointment, especially when something urgent comes up. The staff and providers are not proactive; I have to follow up through the portal just to be sent for routine bloodwork, and ongoing monitoring isn't done unless I reach out myself, even though I'm on a biologic that requires regular checks every few months. I've been a patient here for over 20 years, but after my recent experience with a stool sample, I'm seriously considering switching providers. I completed a home stool test that was picked up by FedEx and sent to Allied Digestive Health's lab. After waiting nearly two weeks, and making multiple calls and portal messages, I was finally told today that the sample couldn't be processed, which seems like it was lost. No one has acknowledged the time this has cost me or the fact that I'm still not feeling well. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend looking into a more reliable and responsive gastroenterology practice.

I've been here twice, once for cardiac rehab (2yrs ago) and the most recent for a breast biopsies…read more Rehab: fantastic staff, absolutely kept me on the right track, positive frame of mind and made sure that I didn't get carried away and try to do more than I was supposed too. Breast Biopsies: First, it took a few months to actually get this scheduled, not with them as a whole, not at all, they were fantastic.. but with my Insurance. Anyway, made my appointment and the long and short of it is, the staff, especially my nurse who held my hand, wiped my brow and talked me through the pain, because it hurts a lot, gave me water and helped me remain calm and breath. She is an absolute angel & if hadn't been for her, I don't think I could have managed, my biopsy's were 1 day 8:30a-12:30p, that's a long time....and Like I said b4- do not let the fear and the it can't happen to me---dissuade you from taking care of yourself, I put it off for far toooooo long. I highly recommend this location for medical care. I see that others have not had the same positive experiences or desired outcome, but I can only speak for myself and my experiences, which have been positive and exemplary.

It's time to get this place in a better position for success! No one really holds hospitals accountable . The nurses are on the front line. It starts with them . It's not an easy job! We all get it . Many do great work ! Hoping this posts wakes 1 nurse up to step up the effort .
