I was met with unanswered calls and when I did get her on the phone, she would say she's busy, I'll call you back on lunch, or I'll call you right back. I never received a call back. I also had paperwork for her to complete but was unsuccessful with that as well. I called one day and was told by her staff that they were finalizing the paperwork but that was a lie as well. After several attempts to talk to her about completing the paper and medication questions, I gave up. This lasted about 3 weeks. If she didn't want to assist me, I would have respected her just being honest instead of wasting my time. I had to find another doctor to help me with my depression and paperwork. She has been awesome! She is dependable, honest and thorough. I finally got my medication on track and on the track on healing and feeling better. I will never do business with Sheila again. This office is very unprofessional. Patients should be treated with care especially when dealing with depression. I don't wish This treatment on anyone. During the 15 minute wait, I watched the clerk and waited for some kind of acknowledgment, a greeting, a wave. Nothing happened. I got up and left. The odd thing was the clerk was not busy, but she also seemed to make a point of not seeing me and feigning paperwork. (I am an RN, so I do know actual busy). I did not know her, nor had I seen her before. I had heard wonderful things about Dr. Brown, but I will never know. Doctors don't realize how much business they lose because of the attitudes or their front-line staff. I have NEVER been to a medical office where the first thing they did was ignore you instead of collecting the insurance, ID, and other relevant papers. in fact, they usually give you new patient paperwork.
