I would NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK! I visited this banking institution to get change for $100 bill. It was the worse experience imaginable. First off the teller was rude, stating if I did not have an account that he would not be able to make change. I told him that I was from out of town trying to help my daughter move and my closest bank was 45 mins away. He told me that was not his problem. I asked to speak with the branch manager and was told they were not on site. I requested to speak with the assistant branch manager and he said, "she will tell you exactly what I told you." I asked to speak with her regardless. I saw him walk into an office and he came back and said, " she is busy with another customer and cannot speak to you. She said we cannot help you." I asked for the number to call back. The teller walked around the bank to an empty desk and pulled out a business card and handed it to me. I thanked him. When I looked over at the assistant manger's office, she was standing there texting on her phone. No one was in the office nor was she on the phone! I would NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SIMMONS BANK! NO INTEGRITY! You are a banking institution, you should help the people in your community because it reflects upon your business ethics! When I called the number on the business card, it went to a random voicemail. Note: When I walked in there was only one customer in the whole bank, that ought to tell you what their community thinks about doing business with them as well! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! When this was Landmark Bank things were so very much different. It's like it went from the best to the worst overnight. There are a couple of nice people who work there. And that's about all the good I can say about this place. I also bank elsewhere thankfully. read more

Every since this bank has switched from Landmark to Simmons, it has been horrible. You can never speak to anyone regarding your account. You are sent to voicemails, which are full, and unable to leave messages. The customer service at the 800 number is the worst I have ever experienced. I have been calling for two days and nothing. There have been two emails sent and still zero response. I can't wait to get my account closed and I guess I will have to travel an hour and a half just to do that and wait in a long line of other people complaining as well. This is ridiculous! Simmons Bank is the ABSOLUTE WORST Banking institution in Texas. Let me be VERY CLEAR, when this was LandMark bank it was the best I have ever been with. Was a Landmark customer for 15 years, the Landmark employees are the BEST. That said the planning of the SImmons bank change was very well thought out. The execution of that plan was apparently carried out by Mickey Mouse. Every Friday something will inevitably screw up with online banking...every single Friday at 3pm like clock work. You will NEVER get a real person to answer the phone, it just will not happen. you will have to take off work go stand in their overcrowded lobbies as everyone else is upset too and spend several hours trying to get your problems fixed because these poor people are learning too. The good ones are quickly leaving as they know their new owners are incompetent at scaling an efficient CUSTOMER friendly business. DO NOT BANK HERE! I am in the process of removing ALL of my accounts which is a tangled web and a nightmare! read more

Since the switch from Landmark to Simmons it's been horrible. I look at the online banking regularly and its always got something wrong with it. I have talked to someone at the Bank and she says it's just a glitch. Well how does it keep happening every week? I am changing banks as soon as the lobby is open again in the banks. The only way someone from the bank will speak to you is if you go thru the commercial lanes and the get mad at you if your not a commercial account. When I have tried to call my local bank it ALWAYS goes to the Bank in a different state and they say to call back and talk to your local bank BUT they NEVER answer read more

I don't know what happened when this bank changed from landmark but it's the worst. Twice I've waited over 10 min. at the drive through when I was the only car in line, no one ever answered, ended up leaving without making a deposit both times. read more

Wow. I have had an account here for 10 years and had a lot in it a year ago. We bought a house so the balance was down to close to the minimum and we were going to have to pay fees so I tried to switch to a different account. Teller took me to an empty desk and told me to wait. FOR AN HOUR?!?!? No one ever came so we went back to the teller and was told it would be longer yet. NOT coming back here, ever. I will go to Ardmore and CLOSE ALL MY LANDMARK ACCOUNTS. Look at my other reviews. I do not trash places and try to be positive but Landmark has really upset me with their total lack of customer service. No wonder everyone is going to online banking. I will be too.
