The lining to my sun roof was messed up and made it so there was a leak anytime it rained or my car was washed. I also had a huge crack in my oil pan and the dip stick made it crack more anytime the oil was changed or the dip stick was removed. I needed to get this all fixed rather quickly. I dropped my car off on Monday morning and got it back by the next day around lunch time. Anyone else i had called gave me a hefty price of anywhere from $500-$750. Whereas i was not only treated normal for being a female, but i only spent $350. The guy that helped me, Bryan, is amazing and I'm so thankful he was able to help me as fast as he did and am grateful to have met him! Definitely recommend to anyone for anything. read more

SVAW is a smaller salvage yard, with a lot less inventory than some of the big yards in Santa Paula, but they're a lot closer to where I live in Moorpark. The reason for five stars here isn't about the prices, which can run on the high side. Nor is it for the hours, which are a little limited on weekends. The reason is for the service. Every time I've done business here, the staff have been extremely courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They bend over backwards to try and find the part you need, regardless of how obscure it is. Be very careful of these people. My son had the clutch go out on my Jeep Liberty, 2005. One of the men who works there promised him a good deal on repairing my car. The car was there for a week. It cost over $800. Less than 100 miles out of Simi Valley, the clutch broke down again. It barely made it home, where it was towed to Absolute Jeep in San Franciso. They discovered that the flywheel had not been replaced as it should have been, the pilot bearing for the clutch shaft was nothing but a torn up shell, the pressure plate was burned, and the clutch disk was for the wrong vehicle. They have called us liars, refused to return our phone calls, and will not refund the cost of the repairs. They are disreputable, dishonest, and thieves. read more

He took the time to look under the hood to assure that I was getting exactly the part that was needed. The part was inexpensive and worked perfectly. I thought I would never be able to drive my 10-year old car again! I had just had a complete service at Nissan in Simi Valley and was told everything was perfect. Out of nowhere the radiator burst into the transmission overheating the engine and shutting it down! I took it to the Nissan dealer and the repairs were more than I could afford. I checked several places. Bryan had the best quote for several thousand less. He also explained the issue with great patience. This is common on Nissan's and the dealer won't tell you that. Everything Bryan quoted was exactly the price. When I picked the car up, it had a slight rattle noise underneath the shift console. I took it back and Bryan fixed it for free. The car is running better than it has in years! I couldn't afford a new car. I didn't want to take a chance on someone else's used car. I couldn't be happier to have my car back. read more

Purchased a diff from these guys I was told it had a 90 day warranty. The cover was removed at one time but said it was good for 90 days. Turns out it is defective and makes a whirring noise. I called and left messages with no call back and now the owner is out of town. I asked for my money back they said the will not refund or exchange it . Small claims and BAR are now my only options. I give these guys no stars!!!!! The owner is rude and has no customers service experience. I had asked for a part for my Honda and the worker gave me a different year and guaranteed it was going to fit my car. I get home (and mind you we live in Pasadena ) and it's a completely different part well they close at 12 on Saturday and we got home at 3 so we had no other choice then to buy another one. Of course they are closed Sunday and we need our car working before Monday so we had no other choice to buy the part somewhere else. I went today to get a refund seeing it wasn't my fault in anyway because I was not given what I was asked well the owner kicked me out of his store did not want to hear what I had to say ... so I called the cops after calling the cops he returned some of my money not all of it because I had to pay a restalking fee for a piece I didn't want!!!!! So I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!!! The owner is rude!!!! read more

These guys are great if you want honest advice on what needs to be fixed with your car. I took my car to the VW dealership and was quoted 1200.00 to fix my Jetta. After getting a referral to this place, I thought I would give them a try. They work quickly and my total cost was half ($600) of what I was quoted at the dealership. Highly recommended. read more
