They have all the huckleberry jams, candies, wine, beer, etc. that you could ever ask for. They sell postcards, patches that depict the state of Montana. They also have rather healthful foods here- granola bars, pancake mixes. The other side of the shop is all musical instruments! They have everything from mandolins to guitars, bass, and even a trumpet! They sell guitar strings, amp wires, capos, anything you need for your musical needs. I think they even had the sheet music to Merle Haggard's "Big City" about getting dropped off in the middle of Montana. The clerk was pleasant, but minded her own business as I poked around and weighed the different huckleberry options. It seems that when things get cold in this town, a hot jam (whether musical or huckleberry) will always spice things up! Parking was a bit challenging, this place is located on the main strip of Red Lodge, so it's only street-side parallel parking. The shop was ADA accessible, but had some narrow aisles.

We recently completed a tour with this group. We were are part of the saddle and paddle. Horseback…read moreriding in the morning with lunch in between and rafting 8 miles in the afternoon. Check in and directions were easy and every single person was delightful. Once we made our way up to the horseback riding ranch we were ready to ride. It was fun. However the guides for at the ranch were not very friendly. They did not really give great instructions prior to riding. There were several inexperienced riders who could have benefited from a few extra minutes of support and directions. Another negative was the group of riders was way too large. They should break up the large groups into smaller ones. Our group had over 30ppl. Got separated from my spouse during horse selection. It was chaos. They should consider breaking the groups up into experience and who cam together. Felt bad my spouse was chosen last and I had been on my horse for a good 10 minutes. Overall I would not suggest this portion of the tour unless they committed to making groups smaller and more interactive with guides. They didnt really talk to us or give and local facts or interesting things about the area. Disappointing. The older lady at the ranch also got sparky when I asked if I could take my water with me. Her response "why do you need water it's only a hour ride, jeez just grab a saddle bag I guess. Just rude. Then when getting off the horse she was smacking it in the face while I was still on it. Just not the greatest experience.

However, the manager--a brunette helping a customer with ski goggles--was completely dismissive. When I explained the situation, she responded with, "Oh, it must have pulled on something." I acknowledged that it caught on my nail, but I was shocked that such an expensive pullover would be so fragile. Rather than offering any assistance or even engaging in a conversation about product quality, she quickly shut it down, saying they couldn't do anything since I had already had it for a few days. For a store selling high-end outdoor gear, I expected better durability and customer support. Spending around $130, I at least hoped for a discussion about quality assurance or a possible exchange. Instead, I was met with indifference. It felt like they cater more to tourists passing through than to customers who actually care about their purchases. If you're looking for durable gear from a store that stands behind its products, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

When I picked up the board, they had not only performed the previously discussed repairs, but they also did a bunch of p-tex work on the base and a wax, and still charged me the previously agreed upon price.
