Arrived on a Sunday evening at 6:50pm (9/6/2026) and was not greeted or ever acknowledged by the two girls at the front counter. I looked around and there were only 4 tables occupied leaving a good amount open. Now I understand they have takeout orders so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We waited 5 min to be acknowledged and it was a brief "we'll be right with you guys" to us and 2 other parties. Then a young girl with dark long hair in a pony tail completely gazed over us (we were first in line at the counter where the sign said please wait to be seated) and looked at the couple behind us and said I can seat you guys. My spouse said, "we were actually waiting first." And she said oh okay come with me. She sat us in the back by the restrooms at a DIRTY table that had not been wiped down not floor cleaned. I had to step over 3 crumpled up napkins and food residue to be sat at a table that had spilled water and soy sauce on it. Rather than apologize and seat us at the next table, she moved on to the next guests, so we took it upon ourselves to move tables because that is just disgusting and poor sanitary conditions. Then it was about 10 minutes later that she came back with waters which we appreciated. She did not let us know she would be back to take our order, instead she went to the next table and handed them their waters and offered to take their order. I went to use the restroom closest to the tables and let me say it was appalling. Trash overflowing, paper towels on the floor, the paper towel holder falling off the wall. Just Gross. After coming back I asked my spouse if she came around yet and he said no. We felt ignored, dismissed, and not cared about as customers. So we left. And we will not be returning. Really disappointed in the staff and this experience as we have been here before and have never experienced this with other staff members/the males working. The Gen Z staff need to be appropriately trained on communication, manners, and etiquette when guests arrive. You don't ignore people, you greets them and acknowledge them. I've been to Silverlake Ramen in Silverlake and had a great experience. I came here today with my family and the service was relatively quick, but there was only one other group at a table. The food wasn't bad, and their happy hour deal on the buns was really good. Overall, it would've been a good experience. Had it not been for the temperature inside the restaurant. It was so hot in there and considering they serve hot soup, it made it unbearable. The AC does work, but it's clearly kept at a high temperature to save on electricity. When we asked the employees why it's so hot, they said that the owner controls the temperature and he keeps it high. I would've loved to stay for more snack, snacks, and beer for happy hour, but I was literally sitting and sweating like crazy. You would think that the owner would want to make people comfortable to stay longer and order more. It's 101° outside today in Chino Hills, and I had to have been 80° if not warmer in that restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous to keep your restaurant warm like that. I'm an HVAC contractor myself, so I spend all day in the heat and when I go to a restaurant, I don't want to be sitting in a hot place to eat a meal. Especially when the AC is working but just kept at a high temperature. I feel bad for the people working in the kitchen. It must be miserable. If the owner can get the AC at a good temperature, then the review would be a lot different. read more

We came for lunch to try the new $15 lunch promotion, and the restaurant was far from busy. Despite that, the food came out at a snail's pace. Even identical appetizers arrived at different times, and our ramen bowls were brought out inconsistently, so our group wasn't able to eat together. There didn't seem to be much coordination between the kitchen and the servers. One moment that really stood out was when a server came out carrying my partner's bowl of ramen but stopped to refill another table's water glasses and pick up a handheld checkout device from an already-vacant table before finally bringing the hot ramen over. It was odd to see hot food delayed for tasks that didn't seem as urgent as delivering a bowl of hot food to a waiting party. We also noticed several empty tables that hadn't been cleared or reset, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. The food itself was decent for the price, but the long wait made the experience frustrating. If you're just looking for a good value, I'd recommend ordering takeout instead. If you're looking for a more authentic ramen experience, HiroNori down the street is a better choice. There was also a screaming child in the dining room for much of our visit. While that's obviously not the restaurant's fault, it unfortunately didn't help the overall dining experience. read more

We have come by this location a few times and wondered why the crowds were thin compared to when we were at the Irvine Spectrum, so we gave it a try this past Saturday. Not sure if they were short staffed, but I felt the service was a bit off. Anything we wanted, water, napkins, etc, we had to ask for or flag someone down. Same thing when getting the bill. The ramen was just as good as Irvine, but the Spicy Tuna Roll was notably much smaller. Came here on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. We got seated right away as a party of 5. Service was very quick, they took our order right away and got us water with a water pitcher. We had kids and they didn't have anymore cups with lids so we had a few spills.. we were celebrating my daughter's bday and we asked if they did anything for bdays. They said yes so we waited. Then our first server came to check us out. We also said it was our birthday and he told us that they don't really do anything but he comped us out sushi. Just an FYI if you order to go - they use very flimsy paper bowls (similar material to how a soda is served to go) with lids that are very hard to keep closed. Whomever packed my order placed two bowls on top of each other, which meant the broth bowl easily toppled over. This meant the broth almost completely spilled out and was soaked up by the bag (and they don't give you much to begin with). I had driven all the way from Diamond Bar to get this food. I took it back, and the staff was nice about replacing the broth, but even my order from the day prior also has some spillage. I get they are going for a hipster/eco-friendly vibe, but for $19 ramen, an actual plastic bowl with a lid that seals shut would do the trick, just like the mom-and-pop places do (for much less money). read more

Was told it was a 20 min wait for the food so came back exactly in 20 min, but by the time I got back to the in-laws place who lives 5 min away, the bun dishes were already cold!! It wasn't like cooled down cold, you can tell the buns were not heated and the meat was cold as well. I don't know if they just make their buns that way (majority of places I go to heat their buns) but for comparison, I also got the chicken Karaage and that was somewhat still warm, so it was odd that the meat was just straight up cold. Chicken Karaage - didn't have that punch of saltiness or umami that other Japanese restaurants have and was not crispy enough either -overall pretty bland and I think they forgot to give me the sauce since I saw it on the picture, but didn't realize until I was home Pork bun - this was the only decent item that I tried - the pickled onions paired well with this dish Spicy chicken bun -not worth the almost $6 price tag for 1 bun and small chicken inside. The quality has declined so much. We went last night and the noodles were soooo overcooked they tasted awful. They were very gooey. I asked all my cousins and their noodles were all overcooked as well. We decided not to return the food because to be completely honest we got there at 8 and they closed at 9 so I knew there was probably nothing they can do at that hour. I did mention it to the waiter and she gave us 15% off. The service was just okay, very low effort. And right at 9 she brought us the check without asking and without us even finishing our food. Ramen is good, prices are reasonable, bathrooms are clean, and our server was nice. Overall no complaints. The only thing I recommend is adding some kid meal options to the menu. I came with my young son and he can't eat a full size ramen by himself. There were also tons of families in the restaurant so it seems like it would be well received. I ended up ordering a side of noodles and just giving him some of my soup. Also tacked on some chicken karaage for a combo and also a side of broccolini. The ramen shop near our house has an awesome kids meal and it comes with a small ramen, chicken karaage, fries, a small bowl of pork and rice, and ice cream. All in 1 kids meal. We stopped by Silverlake Ramen in Chino on a rainy day with my family and it honestly couldn't have been more perfect. This wasn't my first time at this location either. There's just something about ramen when it's cold and rainy outside... and this place always delivers. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect escape from the weather. It had a steady flow of customers but still felt comfortable and relaxed. We ordered the Shoyu On Fire, karaage chicken, and some fried dumplings. The Shoyu On Fire had such a rich flavorful broth with just the right amount of heat... comforting but with a kick. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the toppings were fresh and generous. The karaage chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the fried dumplings were the perfect appetizer to share. Everything came out hot and fresh. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food didn't take long at all. It's a reliable spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy a cozy meal with family. We came in on a Monday night for dinner. The place was busy but there were still tables available and we were seated almost immediately. The wait staff served our waters and gave us time to order our food. We had the Tonkatsu ramen and the spicy karaage chicken bowl. The food came out not too long after. Our waitress were amazing at accommodating all our extra needs as we had our littles with us. She provided us with all the extra spoons and bowls for them. The ambiance is casual. I like that the wait staffs uniform were all Naruto. I do miss the big mural on the wall. It was painted all white when we went so hopefully next time we get to see some wall art. read more

Maybe that was my first mistake. The Cajun sauce was not that spicy, but it was super salty. It came with 2 shrimp, and 4 pieces of sausages. It also had corn, green onions, and a lime. The menu said to squeeze the lime juice on the noodles and mix with the cajun sauce. The biggest reason I deducted stars is because the noodles were not cooked all the way??? (3.5 stars) I ordered the Blaze (3.5 stars) with the chili on the side. Even though I typically default to medium, some reviews mentioned it was very spicy so I wanted to control the spice level. All the components were good and expected. I liked the thick slices of the pork that made it taste heartier than other ramen bowls with thinner slices or a smaller portion. I also liked the texture of the noodles. My pickup order was prepped quickly and ready on time so I give the service 4 stars. My friend and I were looking for a ramen place close by to her house. We found this restaurant on Yelp and was happy we went. Located in a huge outdoor shopping center with a great amount of parking and well known stores. It was a good choice to go for our lunch. They have indoor/outdoor dining with heating lamps to keep you warm. Good selection of choices to choose from as well their drink menu. We both ordered the same ramen dish which was the Garlic Truffle ramen. I thought the soup itself had a nice blend to it not salty or bland and you can definitely taste the garlic flavor. The noodles had a good texture to it as well. Overall nice little place to go to if you're craving ramen. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Also, for that price, I felt it needed more noodles and more than 1 slice of pork belly. The garlic flavor was good, but I couldn't detect truffle. 3) My husband got the Mabo Tofu. Visited twice and both times the ramen was solid. Portions are large, taste is delicious. My first visit I was a bit annoyed that they couldn't swap broths (wanted chicken or veggie vs pork) but I got over it and ordered the Shoyu Chicken Ramen and enjoyed it. Got it the second visit as well and may have been even better the second time. Ingredients tasted fresh and there were plenty of them. Visited another ramen spot nearby recently and the chicken was so over cooked it hurt my jaw. Not the case here. Cooked just right. Also got the Crispy Chicken Karaage and it was tasty as well. Tender and crispy meat and the sauce was really good. The restaurant is small but no trouble finding seating even when busy. You order from the counter when you walk in, then seat yourself. I have been wanting to try this place ever since they opened. Not a huge ramen fan so when we had guests in town, I took them here. I was beyond disappointed. We went on New Year's Day at 5pm. Server was great. Ordering was great. Then came with the food. The ramen came out fast but that was it. I ordered the Shoyu and had only 3 small pieces of chicken. I ordered the combo and the appetizer never came. When asked, they said they ran out and will take it off of our bill. But when I asked for a to-go box, suddenly they can give me the appetizer in a to-go box. My 2 out of town guests ordered rice bowls. One came out as a kiddie bowl. The other was told several items were missing/out of stock. Are they kidding me?! This was at 5pm and they are out of this and that already? Should had just close for the day! They did take the rice bowls out of our bill. I was going to order take-out for a family member that didn't join us. It was painful as it is with their weird out of stock and then back in stock items. I can't wait another 30 mins for a new order that may or may not happen.
