The guide for my visit (Jeremy) was knowledgeable and gave helpful insights into the wine and winery. The owner stopped by to greet the tour guests as well. The Grand Cru Riesling was excellent, as was the Gewürztraminer. My only regret was not finding a way to calculate the Gewurtztraminer into my "take home" stash. (After 3 more stops, the Gewurtztraminer here still stood out as the best of my tour). While my tasting here was not as thorough or generous as some other stops, the wine and the tour guide were excellent. The winery has a beautiful, modern tasting room that is good for small groups.

Tonneau was a beautiful spot to stop and have lunch at. The patio offered spots in the sun and…read moreshade. The service was great and they were extremely friendly. They also were very dog-friendly! We tried their cheese plate and a bottle of Pinot Noir (Cave de Beblenheim). Both were delicious (pictured below)! We also ordered a Coke which was served with a lemon wedge. Their hamburger was tasty but a little messy to eat. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Tonneau and return again!
