I was referred by a co-worker who goes here too, and she has worked at various chiropractic offices in the past part-time so I trusted her opinion. I'm glad I found them. I feel like they put the patient needs first over their pocketbook. I've always had stiffness or soreness in my back and shoulders due to my line of work (dental=hunched over) and poor computer posture. One day it just got to be too much. I contacted them and got an appointment same day with Kiaja. Love her! She is so kind... and funny! And very knowledgeable and able to explain what she is going to do, why she is doing it and how it should help. I love that she is hands on (back cracking), and not just electrodes and walk away for 20 mins. My insurance doesn't cover my chiropractic care. So I purchased a package I get charged every month for, and it's affordable. Their packages are similar to Massage Envy. Examples: 2 times a month, 4 times a month, 8 times a month, unlimited monthly and family packages. The bigger the package, the more savings and perks. A plus...I get to use my HSA Benny card. I've been going for 8 weeks now and my back discomfort/ stiffness is so much better. I enjoy it so much, 10 mins isn't enough time to catch up with the week's events with Kiaja. I haven't been a patient for long but Kayla, the office manager, already knows me by name. And they had a fun March Madness competition... patients filled out brackets and winners won prizes (gift certificates, free services). I know they offer other massage and cryotherapy services too. I just haven't experienced those so I am unable to comment quite yet.

Then, I found out they didn't have the correct insurance information, and it was too late for them to submit to my current insurance. I was then told it was my responsibility to ensure they had the correct information. Well, if you don't receive an invoice, how do you know that they weren't submitted to the correct insurance? Poor customer relations.

I injured my Right knee about 2 years ago, saw my regular chiropractor then and he was absolutely wonderful but my visits to him didn't quite solve the issue, then I had to relocate to MN, also visited a chiropractor here but it did not fully resolve the issue as well. I did massage therapy, regular IV hydration with Toradol to relieve of the swelling, but it continued to recur. I had it x-rayed which came back negative. I wore a knee brace for nearly 2 years, could not do squats, could not jump, cant run. I limped almost every other day to the point where my left leg was cramping as I was putting too much compensatory weight to it. A friend at the gym convinced me to switch Chiropractors and finally February of this year 2022 I did. Dr Jami has a different technique called "the zone" technique - I was skeptical anything could fix this knee however, by Mid March 2022 I was able to start jump ropes, by April I could do a light jog and more substantial squats and by Late April to Early May 2022, I could full on run. The ultimate test was a mile sprint and I was able to do that in 7 minutes and 12 seconds. This review is very relatable to anyone who does crossfit and is very active. I had been told good things about Empowered Health and recommended he give it a try. The Dr. Vang at Empowered Health provided a considerably better experience for him. She considered several different things that might be an issue for him and insisted on taking some measurements and reviewing his case before trying anything. After reviewing all of his data, she determined that the issue was likely in his shoulder instead of his neck and focused more on pressure and working his shoulder instead of just cracking neck and back (the experience at the other Chiropractor). She did not do any neck or back adjustments until after several visits, and then just minor adjustments, focusing more on deep pressure in certain areas of the shoulder, arm and back. He always felt better after her visits and is doing much better now. Unless things have changed she doesn't bill insurance directly, but will help you with the info you need to get reimbursed.
