Did not say hello, nor welcome, and I actually think she may have glared at us! My friend had been there before and was treated with the same cold-shoulder and reluctantly went in with me because I wanted to check it out. In shock. How can you run a business like this? The merchandise was mediocre. The only star I'll give it was their wide selection of Mudpie dishes. And a cute shirt that said NASH in the army MASH theme. That's it. All the other stores on the Crawl were friendly and pleasant. Still in shock about this place.

SATURDAY 1.20.2018 1. STAFF. I didn't catch the names of the…read morestaff when I was here ~6pm tonight, but I have been at this location many times the past few weeks and this was by far the friendliest, most helpful, happy to be there (or doing a great job faking it), that I've ever encountered. On this note this is the best manager I've ever dealt with. 2. I was seriously dreading my visit bc I had some pretty complicated exchange/discount/returns etc and an online order that shipped things separately so I had a lot of packing sheets to use for these transactions. It went so smoothly and I was so grateful for my experience with this manager. I have to say previous manager experience when I was just asking for a size on the mannequin was abrasive and seemed put off to be helping a customer. I sure hope the manager working tonight gets a raise or something. 3. The store was clean, organized, and they got in a bunch of new items!! Highly recommend!!!

Nancy B Goods was one of the unexpected highlights of our trip to Nashville…read more Before we even stepped inside the shop, my girlfriend and I were struggling to get a good selfie on the bench outside. The owner noticed and kindly offered to take our photo. Not only did she take several pictures, but when I asked if she would take a few more, she happily obliged without hesitation. Once inside, we found a beautifully curated shop filled with unique treasures. I was especially drawn to the collection of copper bells and ornaments, as I enjoy hanging pieces like these in the tree in our backyard. The owner took the time to chat with us, asking where we were from, what brought us to Nashville, and what we had planned during our stay. She shared thoughtful recommendations for local shops, restaurants, and experiences that only a true local would know. When I mentioned that I planned to hang the copper bells outdoors, she even recommended a protective coating to help preserve them from the elements. It was clear that she genuinely cared about helping her customers enjoy their purchases long after they left the store. Her attention to detail continued through the checkout process. She carefully wrapped the bells to protect them and minimize noise during our travels. She even walked across the alley to another shop to get us a sturdier bag because she felt it would be better suited for carrying our purchases than the bags she had on hand. The moment that truly sealed the experience came when a heavy rainstorm rolled in as we were leaving. Without a second thought, she offered us her personal umbrella and simply trusted us to bring it back when we were done. In a world where customer service often feels transactional, this was something special. Nancy B Goods is a wonderful shop, but it's the kindness, generosity, and genuine hospitality of its owner that make it unforgettable. We will absolutely stop in again the next time we're in Nashville.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this Franklin store. I purchased a gold ring, and…read morewithin four days, nearly all of the finish had worn off. For the price and the way the item was represented, that is unacceptable. What has been even more frustrating is trying to get help. I have called five times and have repeatedly been told someone would call me back, but no one has followed through. First, they said the owner was out of the country, and the last 4 calls they promised a callback after speaking to the owner and manager. Still haven't heard back from them. The store presents itself as a Christian business and has a prayer room inside, which makes the lack of accountability and customer care especially disappointing. I expected the product to be better quality and, at the very least, for someone to follow up and make it right. I hope the store resolves this promptly and begins treating customer concerns with the integrity its branding suggests.

The staff is refreshingly friendly and never rushes me or hovers over me. Just the way I like to shop! I think this is especially important to mention because a lot of their merchandise is religious based so it is a unique experience that needs to be savored. Today, I purchased some Christmas Home Decor that I will treasure for years! I also stopped in their treasured Prayer Room. It is a little area in the center of the room where you can write down prayers on a tag and hang it on the wall. Others are encouraged to take a tag and become a Prayer Warrior for the person who left the prayer. Today, was a very impactful visit for me. I went into Philanthropy with a heavy heart because we found out our good friend that has been battling cancer was moved to hospice. The prayer room gave me peace & I left feeling a little lighter. Thank you Philanthropy for providing such a beautiful space that brings peace to so many! Whether you are on a visit or a local of TN be sure to stop here & experience this special place!
