We didn't realize that there were so many different varieties and we didn't realize how big this place is. We explored the orchard and took a look at all the animals they have. They have a beautiful little pond with a creek. They even have a bunch of farm equipment throughout the farm with information on what it is and how it's used on a farm. Really cool! They also have a really cool playground area for the kids! The staff here are really helpful and friendly. They have great apple cider and apple cider donuts and other treats! Course has changed over the years as he has sold off most of his farm land but it is a crazy and at time fast twisting course. $2 per person for the ride and pumpkins are very reasonably priced most at $5 or less for a very good sized pumpkin. In winter we have come here for Christmas trees but have since gone to another location. They obviously do this for the people and kids. If you live in the Waukesha area why travel and further when there is a chance pace like this.

We went in to the store and asked because it was after three and found out there is an admission booth further down on the field. We made our way down there and paid the admission and were each given a small bag to pick apples. Most of them were roped off except for the last few rows. In the way to that they had some really cute photo opps in a Zinnia field and in a sunflower field. The lady in the store yelled at my son in law for standing by a rope to look at the cider. Other than a few missteps, we thought it was worth the trip. The only downfall is there was no food to eat except for snacks. The donuts are only on Sat. And Sunday.

It's super busy in the weekends in the fall, and over the years they've added more, such as music, hot drinks and snacks, and did I see a corn maze this year? In addition to apples, you can pick pumpkins and buy squash. Plus there are plants and herbs in the spring and summer. We pick a variety of apples as well as purchase some honey crisps from the store. Really love coming here and recommend it!

What a delightful experience at a sweet farm. I just…read morevisited, very late in the season, though I was wanting to get there sooner. Most of the sunflowers were gone but I was able to cut a few for a vase at home. I can't imagine how pretty it was in full bloom. There were still raspberries to pick and beautiful wildflower fields to pick from. There is a corn maze, pumpkin patches and a fun enchanted garden to wanter through. Definitely on my list to revist next year!

I recently stopped by Pete's Fruit Market for the first time after hearing about it. As soon as I…read morewalked in, I saw buckets of vegetables: peppers, tomatoes, squash, you name it. Most buckets seemed to be about 6-8 inches in diameter and prices ranged from $1 to $5. I only wish they offer smaller buckets instead of such a big bucket. It is hard to buy in bulk with smaller household and I don't like to freeze produce. I was curious about the quality of the produce, but I wasn't too impressed. For example, the apricots looked a little banged up--kind of like the "misfit" produce I've seen before. There was upbeat Mexican music playing, which gave the place a fun vibe, and the store itself isn't that big. A security guard was stationed outside. They had yellow-flesh watermelon at $0.99/lb, and giant seeded watermelons for $16 each--which felt pricey, especially since I had just come from Costco where I got a decent-sized watermelon for $6 (though admittedly smaller than the ones at Pete's). I also noticed mangoes going for $2 each, which again felt steep. I had been hoping to find some Mexican pastries, but nothing really stood out, and there weren't any prepared foods available. However, I saw they got a catering menu which I thought it might be good to have a food court selling those items. I was expecting something more like La Michoacana or Fiesta stores in Texas, but this wasn't it. In the end, I just picked up a few Mexican candies like Pulparindo and called it a day. I was a bit disappointed with the fruit selection, especially the lack of tropical options. On the plus side, they have a fairly large, gated parking lot, which is convenient. I'm glad I visited, but not sure I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

This was our third fall using Creekside Valley Farm. It has become an annual tradition to take my…read moredaughter's photo with their annual mural and height marker. They have a plethora of already picked pumpkins, in various colors including whites, bright yellows, pale green, etc. They have a bunch of wagons on hand if you didn't bring one. They also have some farm animals to enjoy. My daughter enjoys the driveway full of kids ride on tractors. They also have a corn maze, live music and a food truck during weekends in the fall season. This farm is a local gem.
