Not your ordinary pumpkin farm because this is a REAL WORKING DAIRY FARM! We took the family there…read morefor our annual Fall/Halloween outing. The farm has 80 Swiss dairy cows and you can walk through the barns and pet and feed the cows. There are also several calves that the little ones can pet and feed too. There are plenty of pumpkins to pick from and a play area with a tractor, teeter-totter, wagon and other play things to climb on. The highlight of the trip was a hay ride into the farmers field. The landscape is rolling hills and the view of the crimson, orange and yellow leaves overlooking Waukesha county is just spectacular! In the fields there were a few head of cows grazing. The farmer took the wagon right over to the cows and they followed us as kids held our bunches of hay. It was just adorable! The hay ride lasted about 20 minutes and was by far our favorite event. Cozy nook also has a small store where honey, apples, Indian corn, corn stalks and other items can be purchased. Cozy Nook Farm is not just a fall destination, it is also open for tours during the year. Prices for pumpkins and hay rides are reasonable. Pumpkins are priced by their size and range from $3 to $10 and hayride tickets are $5/ adults and $3 for kids. There is no food or water sold there so bring your own. It would be nice if in the future-Especially for the fall season- if they could offer a limited amount of snacks. Maybe Carmel apples, popcorn, bottled water- something simple like that. Cows are milked at 5:30 pm so it your there at that time it's a bonus! It's a wonderful little Wisconsin Farm and you'll have a wonderful family outing which won't break the bank. I highly recommend Cozy Nook Farm.

I appreciate the colorful corn (though we can maybe start referring to it as flint corn these days...), and and the warty pumpkins. The biggest draw for us, though, is the new calf they usually have in the barn, and the hayride up to feed the cows. It's definitely a core memory for the kiddos.

We perused some of the food trucks, but the prices were pretty high as well. We decided to eat elsewhere after we left. Prices in their store were also exorbitant IMO. With the amount they charge to get in, they could stand to lower those prices a bit. It's extremely disappointed that they no longer hand out a map with the list of activities when you check in (with the price they charge, this should absolutely be included in the price!). Instead, we were supposed to scan something and do it on our phones. It was difficult to do on a tiny phone screen so we gave up. This took much away from our experience. They also ran out of the booklets for the corn mazes. Seriously? Although we had fun, not sure we will be back again.

Lots of photo ops, cute shows to see, good food, and just a fun overall festive vibe. But if you're thinking of going on a weekend, do not wait until midday. We left probably around 1 PM after getting there when it opened and the lines in each direction stretched for probably an hour each. Also, if you want anything from the little store, I would do that possibly first because by midday, there was a long line that stretched out the door just to get in and then it snaked around through the store. We didn't end up doing that even though we had wanted to. One suggestion for improvement that would be to have someone monitoring cars leaving the parking lot near the store. There is lots of people knowing about and a lot of them just weren't paying attention to the cars that we're leaving. It was nice to have someone directing traffic at the street exit though. It is pricey, but we thought even as adults without little kids with us that it was still a good value. There's so much to do and it seems like they are adding stuff all the time. But if you're going during the week, definitely check the website for hours and at what time activities start in the afternoon.

What a fun way to spend a beautiful fall day. There is a bunch of different activities but the…read morehighlight is the corn maze. I had heard this is one of the best corn mazes around. Each year the corn maze is a different theme, this year (2026) was the Minions. There are 10 check points throughout the maze (in no particular order) and each check point there are questions to answer related to the theme of the maze. It took us two hours to complete the maze with several times we were ready to give up but with the help of other maze participants we found the last check point we needed, #9. Afterwards we rewarded ourselves for finishing with Carmel apples and mini donuts, which were really good.

Date of visit: October 21, 2023…read more I did a fair amount of research on corn mazes; my mom said she wanted to do one and since this was her first--and likely only--corn maze, I wanted to make sure I found a good one. Schuett Farms did not disappoint! The price was good ($8, and they aren't cash only!), the staff was friendly, and the mini donuts were outstanding! We were all pleasantly surprised at how affordable everything here was, I appreciated that they were trying to keep things economical for families. The maze was quite challenging, with 10 checkpoints (we only found half of them) and miles of corn to navigate through. I do wish they had staff inside the maze helping ensure people did not trample the corn and it would be nice if they had some trash cans inside to help with the trash that garbage people left inside the maze. Another disappointment: There was an option to "play" on your phone but someone forgot to pay for the QR code and that portion of the game was not operational. Technology is great, but if you don't follow through, it ends up being worse than not having it at all.

They were Mac Daddy Sandwich and Soo-Eee! We 5 friends shared and tried them along with the tomato soup that comes with it. I am ready to try the other flavors at the next event. La Duc's offered the Ice Cream Sandwich which is two large chocolate chip cookies with a delicious custard center. It was solidly frozen and we let it sit for a few minutes to soften up a bit. We then broke it up with spoons and ate it in yummy chunks which is just how it should be eaten, IMHO. The evening was packed with families with infants, children, parents, friends, and all ages. This is what a summer evening should be. Kids have a large sand play area and lots of grassy areas to run wild. And the fresh products for sale inside the store are always top quality and worth purchasing. My only glitch is how loud the music is, which negates the ease of conversations. We bring a table and card games and yelling to each other is needed to converse. We sit away from the band but it is still a bit loud. Last night the music was varied in genre and fun.
