I have gotten lower estimates but I think I rather pay a little more knowing I'm in good hands and I think everyone can agree with that. Now, the staff was very welcoming and very nice so I was talking to the staff about lowering my car and doing other repairs in the future and they basically told me that I shouldn't and that a lot of mechanics will turn away modified cars due to their geometry and needing a special lift.. but I am still going to haha, I'm a little stubborn so hopefully they will still service my car in the future and be my permanent mechanic going forward! Extra things to note, they do have a waiting room and they offer things to eat and drink!

Even Honda service was not helpful. Telling me that I needed to pay for a diagnostic to tell me that the handle was broken and that costs about $300. I remembered Charlie on Maclean Ave. He was extremely helpful ordering the handle right in front of me and called me a few days later when it arrived. Installed it and called me back in a few hours later. Excellent customer service and extremely courteous and polite service representatives. Thank goodness I remembered Charlie and how professional his service garage and staff are. Thanks again. Everything was fine but a few months later my Check Engine light came on. I got it checked in October 2024 while doing my inspection and they said it was due to the faulty O2 sensor and to bring it back to J&R since it should still be under warranty. J&R checked it and said it was fine, blamed it on another issue. January 2025, the check engine light is back on again. A second shop said it was the faulty O2 sensor and they switched it out. My car sounds better and the light is finally off. I go to J&R hoping they'd make it right. They said the part was indeed damaged but they can only guarantee a 6 month warranty. The 2 other shops both had a 1 year warranty. I thankfully have no issue with the CC but them not taking responsibility for the faulty part won't have me returning to this shop.
