Hello again. I recently left a negative review for Lavender Home Care and I now need to update it…read more Evidently, Yelp does not take down reviews, so I will temper the original review with what has happened since. Unfortunately, I had a misunderstanding with Lavender and the initial conversation did not go well. But the owner of the company, Bernard, found out about it and spent a lot of time resolving the issues. It is commendable that he went above and beyond what was required to make the situation right. So I would like to say that although we had a disagreement, Bernard stuck with ironing it out until we reached a satisfactory conclusion. I regret that I was so upset with them in the beginning when some reasonable conversation was able to smooth things over. Also, I have had an excellent home health aide through Lavender for several years. We have become very good friends and I look forward to her visit each week. She is like my right arm around the house now. Bernard did make sure that I got an aide that was a good fit for me and that is part of this kind of business that sends help to older folks in their homes. That kind of assistance is invaluable for me and I appreciate that Bernard took the time to see that everything was taken care of going forward. Thanks, Lavender, for these several years of fine service.

He credits Tim and Sherry keeping him alive many more months than had be been at another facility. The love and care was amazing, and I mean love. I was able to visit weekly and always was greeted with smiles and love and total care and compassion for my father. The staff was also extremely friendly and kind and compassionate in the care they provided to my father. My fathers journey went from mobile with a walker to mostly chair bound and then bed bound. The meals provided were great, he was always clean and cared for. My Dad was extremely happy to be a resident at Countryside Living & Elderly Home Care. I would highly recommend Countryside Living Elderly Home Care for anyone's loved ones.

This place on one hand does a good job of specialty care, but the other hand (treatment of…read morepatients....) sucks. I was in there for a work related accident. If it wasn't for my wife being at my bedside 24 / 7 more then half of the calls for (needed help) would have left me in dire pain. Three times the food service took my food without asking if I was done, I ALWAYS had to rely on my wife to assist me to the rest room. Half the time when I pressed the call button, it took over 15 minutes before a nurse came in and helped. (even in the middle of the damn night). My doctor was awesome, and some of the residents were ok, but one thing I found sad is - the doctor order 'leaches' to help try to save my crushed finger and a dietitian had to come in and put them on my finger - NONE of the nurses would do it. As for the birthing center (and this was 18 years ago), they did good, but who knows now how they are. If it wasn't for my doctor, they would get one less star....
