I attended the childbirth education class, newborn prep class, and the prenatal movement class -- I'd recommend all expecting parents to attend all of them! Emily was always super responsive over text whenever I had any questions during pregnancy, she's incredibly knowledgeable and empathetic. I ended up getting a cesarean section due to my baby being breech so I didn't need a birth doula, so they gave me the option of a partial refund or 12 hours of postpartum doula services (which is what I opted for). It was great having Jessica come check up on me postpartum and go through some basics of breastfeeding, infant care, and also just giving us a small break during the early newborn days. We've recently also worked with Amanda for babysitting services and she's amazing! ERDC does it all. They are big on community and fostering support before, during, and after birth. Highly recommend!

Golden Harmony has pretty much taken over the market for companion care. Companion care is a level…read moreof care for elders who are independent, but could use some company, getting out of their homes for a drive or an errand, joining them with their activities, and when matched up with the correct client and companion, your parent or other elder relative, are very likely to make a friend for life. Many of their clients seem to be located in the various senior communities where they do have many activities for socializing, five star dining and lovely rooms or apartment apartments If I were going to trust any of the companies in this area, with my elder parent or Other, this would be the company I would choose They seem to be the best organized, extremely friendly on the phone, and take the client match with the companion seriously. If the elder client does not feel like things are working out with their companion, they are free to speak to the company and ask for someone else. Having dealt with other companies, they tend to want to push you into a higher level of care that may not be needed. The great thing about elder care and companion roles are that you've already established a relationship with the company, you've come to trust the company, and if you do need to move to a next level of care, stay assisted-living, you already know the company and your companion may also be able to join you in an assisted-living community I'm forgetting to mention there are caregivers who are CNA's, and highly experienced RNs, who oversee the programs. Best wishes to you and your elders.

Working for Golden Harmony Home Care has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career…read more From day one, I felt genuinely supported by both management and the office staff who are all approachable, responsive, and truly value employee input, which makes a meaningful difference in day-to-day work life. What stands out most is the company's commitment to both patients and staff. They prioritize high-quality patient care while also ensuring employees have the tools, training, and flexibility needed to succeed. Scheduling is handled thoughtfully, with a clear respect for work-life balance--something that's rare in healthcare. One of the most rewarding parts of the job is working with the clients I've been matched with. I enjoy hearing their stories, learning about their lives, and building meaningful personal connections with them. Overall, this is an excellent place to work if you're passionate about providing compassionate care and want to be part of a supportive, professional environment. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a career in home health!

They don't check voicemail, they don't return calls, then finally after over a month, I received a call during Christmas week (waking me up on my first off day, but I was happy to run downstairs to get my insurance at first), and when she found out I was hoping for a Saturday appointment due to work, she was frustrated as, after a long hold, she couldn't reach the "girl who works Saturdays and hadn't given her the January hours yet". I have her name, but not posting here. I told her I was willing to wait (I mean, my shoulder may actually heal on it's own at this point and I'm definitely moving my orthopedic doc appt out since I've been unable to schedule) or I could call her directly and she became angry and hung up on me. Frustrating as I literally waited a month to even try to schedule as I was busy and had already done what I thought was my research so didn't want to start over researching other PT locations further away from where I live...but now, I am!

Don't waste your time with an agency that will communicate to you that they have staff to…read moreaccommodate you, and then don't deliver. What's the point of an agency accepting a PCS contract and not fulfilling the requirements of the client? The quality of care provided was extremely lacking. (Porchia) the aide provided couldn't even put a diaper on properly. I also at first request of services asked for a CNA (to operate a hover lift) but the owner of Alegna couldn't find anyone. So, I decided to just ask for a home aide instead in hopes of getting "help." Also, I own a companion dog and two cats that have been signed off by my doctor. ( I have the paperwork for them) and in the discharge paperwork, it was cited that part of the reason I was discharged was due to the aide's "concern" over my pets. Bear in mind that when both the aide and owner of the agency had come by, we had my companion animal barricaded so as to appease them. Evidently, that was not good enough for the aide, nor Angela Green Cozart, the owner of ALEGNA, as my companion dog could not reach them or even jump over the gate as she was injured. A client should not have to change their environment to suit the aide or agency, especially pertaining to one's companion or service animals. In conclusion, I obviously don't recommend Alegna. I'm both disabled and bedbound, and I have many health issues. Because of my experience with Alegna, I was also delayed from receiving both physical and occupational therapies, as well as having been made to scramble desperately to find a new agency. (despite Angela's "referrals") It's my aim in writing such an in-depth review that this will be helpful to others in my position and their families.

When our Mom, who has been living with dementia, fell and broke her pelvis, she was in the hospital for a week before ending up back in her skilled nursing care unit. When we wanted to bring her home and care for her, it seemed impossible to coordinate everything while also staying by her side. The women at Aging Care Matters made everything that seemed impossible, possible. They found the housekeeper to help get Mom's room ready back at home. They found the non-medical ambulance to coordinate her ride home. They found the angels/CNA's to assist with Mom's care back at home. They found the movers to move her things out of her skilled nursing unit. And they held our hands like the dearest of friends as we navigated these hardest of days. They had an answer and a solution for all of our needs and concerns, with pre-qualified companies to collaborate with to help us in our greatest hour of need, so that we were able to stay by Mom's side. We can't say enough wonderful things about Rebecca and Anne with Aging Care Matters!

After 11 separate visits to the clinic over a year, I NEVER met the practitioner who I had selected…read moreto be my doctor - and I drove 2+ hours to get to the clinic each time. I had a healthy, successful pregnancy from my very first IVF and 3 remaining genetically normal embryos remaining after I moved to the state. At my first implantation, the doctor asked about the gender (we had 2 males and 1 female remaining. We implanted the female). The doctor said "another girl? What are you going to tell your son one day?" Doctor, that's none of your business. That implantation ended in a miscarriage. For the next two [failed] implantations, my doctor added different medications saying "at this point, the studies are all voodoo, so why not try." She knows more than me so I trusted her, which I shouldn't have done. She tested my thyroid and gave me medication but never told me how important it is to take thyroid medication separate from other medicines. I realize she's not an endocrinologist, but if you prescribe it, you should give the warning. At one point I was taking over 11 pills and a shot. She also assumed that adding more estrogen was the answer and my levels were skyrocketing. Again, I'm not the doctor. As I said, both my implantations failed. I know that IVF is never a guarantee. And I don't completely fault the facility, however, in my journey to expand my family I feel like I wasted a year at Carolina Conceptions. New to the area, I thought it was my only option. It's not.

If you live in Cary Park, this OBGYN office is conveniently nestled in the neighborhood. Since…read moregetting pregnant, I come here frequently because it's close to home, very clean, and the staff (front desk, nurses, phlebotomists, midwives, nurse practitioners, and doctors) are so sweet and personable. I also love their health portal where I can communicate to my doctors if I'm having any trouble with suggested cold medication, or ask about certain products I'd like to use to see if they are okay for pregnancy. Sometimes I feel like I ask ridiculous questions on the portal and at appointments, and the healthcare providers never make me feel embarrassed or ashamed. Now it's true. If you are looking for education on oral or hormonal contraceptive methods, this office is not for you. But just because they don't promote this doesn't mean the office is hyper religious. I did go to one of the educational appointments on this. I attended an appointment in which you can prevent pregnancy by using something called "The Listening Method" which entails you to keep track of the consistency and color of your cervical mucus. By keeping track, they give you a chart that you have to mark. Based on the chart you can tell how fertile you are. I thought that this was a great idea for people who do not want to use hormones or other contraceptives such as a copper T intra uterine device (IUD). The listening method is great, however, I think this would be better utilized for busy people by turning this into an app. The front desk staff is also very helpful. My husband and I had a big gender reveal party, and they were very careful not to disclose the sex during our appointment. They were also kind enough to inform our baker of the baby's sex. My one start dock is for issues with appointment scheduling. I have made in person appointments, and then received notifications via email that they changed an appointment without my consent. Nonetheless taking more time out to have to call and reschedule again. I'm not sure i this is a system error.
