You will find this spot tucked away in the back of a Mobile Gas Station. It looks like it was an old Subway or something. When you enter the building, if you veer to the left, you will see where you can place your order. If you go to the right, you will find a small dining area with booths. Being that it is located in a gas station, there are an adequate amount of spots to park. The place does not have a grill, fryer or stove. All their food is refrigerated and/or microwaved. They serve items such as burgers, pizzas, pretzels, salads, subs, phillys, wraps and tacos. They also serve breakfast sandwiches. All the drinks that a usual gas station has are at your disposal to choose from. The pizza looked like it was self serve, as I saw a customer get her own slices and take it to the front register. I ordered one of their famous gyros. The meat is pre cut, pulled out of the fridge and nuked for a few minutes. The pita is swallowed up by the meat. There is so much meat. It could make 2 or 3 gyros out of it. I had to eat the meat down to get to the pita. The gyro was warm, but you could tell that it was not fresh and was reheated. It was flavorful though and really filled me up. I had it for lunch and ended up skipping dinner. I also had some of their potato salad, which they got out of a big container in their refrigerator. It was ok, nothing special though. To top my meal off, I got one of the large chocolate chip peanut butter cookies that were starring me in the face when I was ordering. It looked a whole lot better than it tasted. I definitely would not get one of those again. Even though there was a small dining area available. It did not seem very cozy and still felt like you were eating in. a gas station, so, I decided to take my food to go. The staff there were friendly enough and very welcoming. So I had a sleep study at IU-West so I had to drag myself all the way there last night and as I'm driving around aimlessly, I see this gas station in a strip mall that sells "delicatessen" on the side. And I'm like, sure thing, a "deli" that is probably some nasty sandwiches that come off of a box truck sourced from god knows where. So I look up the place and there's like 100+ reviews on Google. I walk in the evening and there does appear to be a legit menu board and the reviews look good and so I chance it. Next morning I'm there about 7:15, 7:30 and the place is packed. Maybe a dozen people in line ordering or paying. The lot is full of work trucks. What a lot of people are doing is ordering their lunch for later in the day. Almost everyone is ordering a gyro and they are just piling on the meat for these things. The guys behind the counter are talking some language that I can't readily identify. Greek? Maybe Turkish? As I'm looking around the deli and ordering my breakfast sandwich, there's several desserts that you don't typically associate with gas stations. Baklava. Some type of cheesecake. Lots of good stuff. There's also biscuits on the menu, cinnamon rolls, just a lot of stuff available. So if you ever find yourself getting kicked out of IU West at an early hour and need a place to grab a breakfast and some coffee, a+ would do again. read more

The gyro wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, for some reason based off the other comments on here I thought there would be fresh gyro meat but the lady making the gyro pulled it out the fridge and microwaved it.. wouldn't go back for the gyros or the baklava ( that was old too). Best deal on the west side of Indy. Period. The gyros are $4.99. Better than any $5 Subway footlong you can get. Call to order ahead or walk right in. Doesn't matter. The owners are the sweetest and love their regulars. My brother takes his family often, and every time they go the owners greet them by name and give the kids free candy. How hometown-sweet is that?? You can get any number of veggies on your lamb pita wrap. They also include sauce. If you want to take a vegetarian, you can! They get a discount for having no meat on their wrap. These sandwhiches used to be $2.99 way back in the day when I was 10 years old, but $4.99 is still a bargain. They give you so much lamb meat that you can take off half and have a sandwich for later. unbiasedly speaking, I've been coming here for 25 years now and this is the most wholesome gas station you'll ever visit. They remember their customers, by name, and greet you with a smile every day. They are an extension on my family at this point. When my grandpa past away last summer, members of this gas station even attended his funeral. This is one of my favorite convenience stores. They have a wide variety of snacks, drinks, tobacco products, and other things that'd be found at a gas station. Also the food they make is delicious. Some of the foods they make are pizzas, wings, breakfast sandwiches, gyros and other subs. They also make this hot sauce called Vic sauce, it's amazing but really hot (which I love). The staff are always very helpful and nice. It's not right around the corner from me but it's on my way to work and a lot of people I know go here before work so I always run into somebody. read more

I come in to silver express every 2 weeks for work and the employees are all so kind and welcoming. I've only ever gotten the gyro for lunch and it is AMAZING! I used to visit this location often for fuel, lunch and check cashing. I recently changed employers. When I went in to cash my check, they said they couldn't cash it because they have never cashed a check from my employer before. That doesn't make sense. How did they start cashing checks in the beginning if they only cash checks from companies they have cashed before? Then, the "manager" told me they won't cash my check because it "doesn't look good." So, they've lost my business forever. Sometimes, that's all it takes. ;) read more
