Because of this, there's a great sense of community going on there, but new faces are always welcomed here too. I used to gig here in my younger years as mick and jackie had always been into music and promoting the local music scene. Quiz nights are always great fun and the service there is very quick. A really great place to go to and I think it caters for people who don't exactly feel accustom to gastro pub vibe. It's a very honest place with nice friendly people. The decor is nice, and the toilets are clean, there is free wifi, but it is rubbish for you are better off turning your wifi off. The food arrived and it was average. There was nothing wrong with it at all, but I am not sure if it justified the price tag of a pub outside of London. The fish portion was relatively small for the main course, the chips with the burger really did taste deep fat fried. I would go back here I guess, but there are most certainly pubs around this area that are better and cheaper.
