The little place is right after the light. It's very cute and retro. The owner is very sweet and kind, and takes her time with every customer. I will be coming back again. I think I will try another flavor to enjoy. The owner has a facebook account that she is very active and provides information on specialities. The best way to find out is to see it yourself. You have to make the drive into Cortez. She does have a drive through if you don't like getting out of your car. And she takes credit and cash. read more

The lady was very nice but the coffee and tea were pretty average. The chai tea was like something you'd make at home and wasn't sweet.

We were on our way out of town and wanted to support a local coffee business...and boy am I glad we did. Homemade syrups, local baked goods, great staff, kitschy cute decor. It took awhile to ponder all the options available (a good problem IMHO) to have. I went with a 16oz oat milk latte in my own cup with homemade coconut syrup. The gentlemen behind the counter was fabulous, enjoying himself and working non stop to service a steady stream of walk up and drive through customers. We drove by the Silver Bean recently while passing through Cortez. We decided we had to stop and check it out. While the selection of baked goods was slim that day,the barista was super cheerful and enthusiastic. We enjoyed our coffee and snack and will happily stop by next time we visit Cortez. read more

Neat little coffee shop that's run in a trailer! You can walk right up the steps and into the trailer to order, but also have the convenience of a drive thru, too! It's truly a random silver bean in the middle of town- Such a wild concept!! I discovered one of my all-time favorite lattes with the help of these guys! For a tiny area, they have A LOT of flavored syrups available. I settled on a honey lavender dark chocolate latte with oat milk. Loved that they were able to provide me with some recommendations to guide my indecisiveness. This is a place that I would definitely recommend and bookmark! :) read more

My husband and I recently moved to the area in September. We tried the coffee and it wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as everyone says it is. I got a blended drink and it didn't look like one. Cool coffee shop located inside an airstream trailer. They have a drive-thru option or you can go inside to order and then enjoy your coffee on their patio furniture outside. While the food and coffee here are great, the service is what makes it second best... My partner and I stopped by for a quick breakfast on the way to Mosca. When we arrived in the drive thru the woman in the van informed us she'd be with us in a minute, which is absolutely no problem, we were still browsing the menu. When she came over to us, my partner ordered a burrito and was about to order a bagel when she scurried from the window. He didn't want to rudely yell the order to her so he waited until she came back. When she did she seemed frustrated at the addition then handed us the bagel and burrito telling us the the total was $12. He still needed to order the coffee though. When he asked for a latte and coffee she sternly replied "Anything else??" He quietly said no and paid once she delivered the coffees. She took the money, turned and was leaving when my partner decided to give her a tip too (he always tips no matter what), she quickly turned to us and then gave a small smile. Really strange experience that put a damper on the morning. Cortez otherwise has been so beautiful and kind to us. read more

We were on vacation and driving a few hours to a National park from Cortez. Wanted coffee and breakfast for on the go. Got a breakfast burrito and mocha and both were very yummy. Decent prices and good service, they bring it out to your car if you do the drive though. And hey the business is inside an airstream how cool! read more

I loved this place in my opinion food was good and some drinks were as well, not worth how you get treated I have been to this location twice both time I have received terrible service, The worker came up to me threw( literally threw) the burrito into my car and at me. I told him to have a nice day he turned around and gave me a terrible and the most rude look I didn't say anything. I came back to this location one last time. It was the same man, I'm lactose intolerant so I have to watch what I eat and drink. My dad asked him if they had dairy free fraps, unlikely but we asked anyway, this guy yelled at my dad and said what kind of stupid question is that. And then proceeded to say of course they have diary rolled his eyes and walked off, the way they treat customers is not okay. The food is good but not being worth treated that way read more

Iced dirty chai was meh. My friend was laughed at for ordering an iced cappuccino so he ordered just a regular brewed coffee. They had none and it was more than 30 minutes before they closed. Kind of ridiculous to order a regular basic plain coffee and not have any from a coffee shop lol. Doubt we will give this place another try. read more
