PETER AND HIS STAFF DID A GREAT JOB ========================== I didn't find Silvas Plumbing from Yelp, but I could have. Instead I opted to check recommendations from residents in the town where I live. Many people I know highly recommended this company. We needed some new plumbing, including bathtub hardware for our guest bath. The quote was good and they did a great job. They were all very neat and cleaned up the area afterward as well. I would definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs. read more

Silva's Plumbing was referred to me by my neighbor. Called, he came out within the hour and fixed my problem within 20 minutes when my usual plumber was unable too. Highly recommend read more

Tub backup was cleared in less than 30 mins. Very prompt response, less than 3 mins response after text. Very satisfied.

Peter is fantastic! I needed to have a water main valve replaced, and my go-to plumber moved out of state. He recommended Peter to me. I reached out to Peter and scheduled for him to check out my issue. He was prompt in responding to my communications. Peter and Peter arrived on time, quoted me a very fair price, and quickly took care of the issue. I am very happy with the work they did. I would highly recommend Silvas Plumbing to friends and family. Thank you! read more

I called Silva at least 4 times, and he promised to be here 3 times, but never show up, and never called to apologize He used to have good service in the past read more

We had a major back up on your sewer line and Pete came out within an hour on a Saturday afternoon and took care of the problem with his powerful hydrojetting tool. With his camera, we discovered lots of roots and a slightly broken sewer line where it meets the city pipe, but at least he cleared the line and said it should be good until the landlord is ready to do the big repair. Pete is a great guy, and we highly recommend him. Oh, and his price was 1/2 that of another plumber's estimate. read more

Mr. Silva is the best. he is not only a skilled, honest tradesman but a great person. When you call Mr. Silva what you get is a fair price for expert level work. He takes pride in helping people the best he can. You will not find a better plumber read more

Peter is GREAT! Yesterday a plumber quoted me $4500 and three days work to fix a leak that Peter fixed in 1/2 hour for $150!! ...and he's a super nice guy as well. read more

Pete came out to run a hot water line to our washing machine. While he was there him and his assistant noticed I was trying to handle another project but I didn't have the needed tools. They offered to do it for me and saved the day. He was clear about what was included in his initial quote, was on time, and handled the job quickly. read more

Peter was excellent! My dad called him in the early morning and even though Peter was scheduled for a big job he squeezed us in beforehand because he recognized the need. So kind and very professional. Fixed the problem right away and the price was very reasonable! 5 stars all the way!! read more

Sunday 11/27 our kitchen sink got clogged! My husband and I tried a few tricks (baking soda, vinegar & boiling water typically it did the trick on our bathroom and home depot purchase drain opener) today it didn't. I asked my husband to contact our go to guy Eric but he said to contact Peter Silvas (who fixed our shower early this year). Today Peter came to fix our kitchen sink, he arrived early and after exchanging a few words he went right to work. He opened the pipe and found eggshells!! (My husband is guilty how the eggshells got there). He cleaned it out, when he's done I noticed that there was a leak and he immediately tried to find where it was coming from and fixed it!! He's great at what he does! There's plenty plumber out there but it's hard to find someone you can trust. If you're looking for good, honest and reliable plumber.. Peter Silvas is your guy! Thank you Peter! read more

Peter took care of my gas line issue right away, quality service, low prices, great communication. Recommended!

Incredibly polite. Fast worker. Very responsive. Good value. Fully solved issue. Highly recommend!

I just found my new permanent plumber. Pete is awesome! From the time I called until the job complete at the best price I found, only 3 hours had passed. I had a "small job", a dripping copper pipe fitting and he made time in his day to stop by and and do a clean and quick job. Thank you Pete read more

Highly recommend Silvas Plumbing. I found Peter on yelp. Peter came within 1.5 hours of my text. Assessed the problem, replaced and fixed it and Checked something else. All for the bargain price of $95. Relief and now my water bill will go down due to a leaky outdoor faucet. His service, appearance and attitude was top notch. read more

Wow! I have a great experience with Silvas Plumbing. Peter Silvas was recommended by a friend after another guy failed to unplug my tub and had suggested a very expensive remedy that he was not equipped to do and when I checked with the guy he recommended his price was crazy high. Peter made time to come out the same day I called (today) and fixed it. He clearly knew what he was doing. He is also very nice and professional, he really examined the problem before taking action. I even paid him a little more than he asked because he really deserved it and promised to come back if there were any more issues. Highly recommend! read more

The valve for the refrigerate filter was leaking. I had to refuse the delivery of a new refrigerator the previous day because if they left it, the leak would void our warranty. I was desperate to find a plumber to get my delivery rescheduled. My friend recommended Peter. One call and the appointment was set. Peter and his son, Peter showed up the same day and took care of the valve in less then 30 minutes. Since he had asked me for a picture of the valve earlier, he was equipped with the replacement part. The work was clean, beautiful, fast, and at a very reasonable price. He told me he guarantees his work for 1 year. I hope I don't have future plumbing issues, but I definitely would use and recommend Silvas Plumbing. read more

I was referred to Peter by a co worker who has used this service for many years. I was able to setup an appointment for the next day and he was prompt. I also had the time to converse with Peter while he was installing my earthquake valve for my gas line. He is a real, honest down to earth person! He takes pride and backs up his career. From an organized plumber to his professionalism gets 5 stars hands down. I highly recommend Silvas Plumbing and will refer all my family and friends to them. read more

A friend of mine recommended Silvas Plumbing when I needed a major job of replacing an old drainage pipe deep under my driveway, and I needed a new sink installed in one of the bathrooms as well. I am completely floored at not only how great of a job that Peter and his crew did, how fast and efficiently it was done, but also that he saved me a LOT of money, giving me an estimate that was significantly less than other estimates from different companies. I cannot recommend Silvas Plumbing enough. Thank you Peter! read more

Great guy, fixed my broken pipe quickly and on same day. Reasonable pricing. Will use him again in the future :)

I read some great reviews about Silvas Plumbing on Yelp and decided to use his services. He came over to my house and talked all the while he was working. I assume he was trying to make a good impression. Before starting the job, he quoted an outrageous charge for a part required for the job. I balked and then informed him that I had the part that I had picked up from Home Depot earlier. I usually take care of all plumbing repairs but this fixture had become stuck and I had no tools to tackle the job. Anyway, he winced, settled for a charge and went about to finish the job. After the job, he insisted on accepting only cash, even though his website had listed credit cards as an acceptable form of payment. We scrambled to get some on-hand cash and paid him. He refused to issue a receipt and left very quickly. I went to inspect the job and noticed that this guy was not very proud of his profession. The finish on the wall plate was poor. No caulk or sealer was applied. I failed to mention that we had also negotiated to fix a leak on the commode, which he included in the overall charge. Three months later the commode has started leaking, just like it was before he fixed it. While working on the job, we had a running conversation, so we assumed there was good rapport between us. But the aftermath was very disappointing. Because he did not give a receipt, it was even difficult to prove that he had done a job for which he was paid. I think this is a very unprofessional gentleman. I can only imagine that the glowing reviews on his services are likely from associates who are trying to prop him up as something that he is not. I could be wrong, but he left a bitter after taste that just won't go away. I am one unsatisfied customer who will be wary of ever using his services again or recommending him to others. He does not even deserve a one star rating! Oh, I notice that his website has since been shut down and his operations are listed as closed. Go figure! read more
