I just want to make sure people know how untrustworthy this company is. I should have come here to read the reviews after seeing one of them state that they were a no show. Well guess what... HE NO SHOWED at our wedding as well. Terrible company and very untrustworthy. We hired them as our photo booth for our wedding. The night of the wedding they didn't show up without any communication. We reached out to them multiple times during the night and no response. Alan (owner) did not respond till the next day. His reason was that his employee had a warrant out for his arrest and spent the night in jail...... WOW! Un-freaking believable. DO NOT HIRE THIS UNTRUSTWORTHY company. If you want proof, I have all communication with them. Just reach out to me and I can show you.

Hoang came up with so many creative ideas for our shoot at Cedar Hill State Park.  You can tell from the photos that we were having a blast!  It felt like we were just hanging out with a friend rather than having a stranger lurking around us. :) He really captured us accurately and in the most flattering way. Before the shoot, Hoang was very responsive to our questions, especially about where/when to shoot (as we all know, DFW weather is rather unpredictable) and what to wear. We couldn't have been happier with the choices he made since the pictures turned out amazing! And the turnaround time was impressive. Everyone LOVES the photos! We would wholeheartedly recommend Life Stories By Hoang for any photography projects. If you take a look at his portfolio, the quality of his work speaks for itself. But even more importantly, we truly enjoyed the process of working with him, both on the day of our shoot and in the weeks leading up to it. We can't wait to work with him again!

After sending several messages trying to find a compromise, she stopped responding. The next week she contacted me again. I expressed that I wouldn't feel comfortable with her because of her inability to communicate with me in a timely manner and her communication was lacking in professionalism. Her response was that I was not her client and therefore she didn't feel the need to get back to me as quickly. I was very confused by this, as I would never commit to a photo shoot with a photographer who isn't able to respond to me in a timely manner. This was family photo shoot that many of us were traveling to the Dallas area for. Our dates weren't flexible and it was important to me to find someone who could ensure that it would be a smooth process. All in all I felt Lucy was unable to provide time with the level of service I expect. Furthermore, after ending our conversation, she continued to harass me through text message until I asked her to stop. If you are planning to book a photographer please look elsewhere! I am not sure if this if her normal work ethic, if I had done something to offend her, or if she was having a bad week. Regardless of the reason, her attitude was very off putting and her professionalism was lacking.

Having worked with many talented photographers in the past, I can tell you that one of the things that sets the really good ones apart from rest is how easy they are to work with (especially with children, older people, and large groups of people with different personalities!). Carey was not only patient and accommodating, but he was also very professional (all of his equipment was top notch, he arrived on time and provided guidance when needed) and he did a very good job of capturing our vision for the photo shoot -all while maintaining a smile on his face when other photographers might have felt frustrated or been less inclined to try something again! He even managed to get my kids to laugh when they had had enough of the shoot and got everyone to loosen up (even the grandparents!) so we'd look more natural during our pictures. d I can't recommend Carey highly enough. He really is fantastic to work with and we plan to book him for our family photo shoots again next year. From what I hear, some of his work has been featured in art galleries too. Check him out!
