I guess this company has 2 yelp accounts but I wrote the same review on their other yelp account. Below is what I posted. I just want to make sure people know how untrustworthy this company is. I should have come here to read the reviews after seeing one of them state that they were a no show. Well guess what... HE NO SHOWED at our wedding as well. Terrible company and very untrustworthy. We hired them as our photo booth for our wedding. The night of the wedding they didn't show up without any communication. We reached out to them multiple times during the night and no response. Alan (owner) did not respond till the next day. His reason was that his employee had a warrant out for his arrest and spent the night in jail...... WOW! Un-freaking believable. DO NOT HIRE THIS UNTRUSTWORTHY company. If you want proof, I have all communication with them. Just reach out to me and I can show you. read more

To start, I gave this business one star because I could not give it zero. I booked Blake Photography to provide a photo booth at my daughters wedding on July 3rd 2014. The vendor required that I make a payment in full prior to the event. On the evening of the wedding, Alan Blake did not show at my event and would not answer calls from me or our wedding coordinator. I have left messages and emails and have as of July 7th have received no communication from Alan Blake. I definately would not use this business again. read more

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Blake Photography! We hired them to do a green screen print station for a corporate event, and Alan and his team were not just a pleasure to work with, but also made me look good and kept my boss happy! He got everything set up and ready to go ahead of time, and was happy to start a little early as we already had a line of guests eager to play with the fun props and backgrounds. They were so surprised that they could have a souvenir print to take home! Alan did some candid shots for us as well, and we were surprised to get those pics so soon afterwards, too. Other photographers we've used in the past made us wait for weeks. Blake Photography is now my number one choice! read more

The day before our event, we received an e-mail (not a phone call) from this company stating that they had a new client that paid more money so they had to cancel on us. They recommended that we post another listing to try and find a replacement last minute because they didn't know anyone that would do it for our price on such short notice. No offer to pay the difference in price for another photobooth. We had a contract, and had we backed out we would have still been charged. After complaining, we were sent a name of a replacement at almost twice the cost, still no offer to pay the difference. If you are looking for reliable service or want your contract to be upheld, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Note: We posted a negative review on another site and immediately began receiving threatening phone calls and e-mails from the owner that we needed to take our reviews down because the event had not happened yet. The lack of professionalism from this company was astounding - I have never seen such behavior from a business owner. read more

When you no show my wedding, you get one star. Thanks for adding extra stress to an already stressful event to plan

You did not offer a refund. We had to seek one through a dispute. The "unforseen circumstances" were you hired a contractor with outstanding police warrants who was arrested and in jail at the time of my event. I have spent more time disputing, redisputing and trying to recover these funds than is necessary and it has taken a situation that was already incredibly upsetting and made it worse. You did not "begin a refund process". We disputed the charge because you were unreachable. There are multiple trails of calls made to your office, cell and email from the wedding coordinator. There are multiple email exchanges. There is indication in the comment section of the dispute that the dispute was not "done on your behalf." But was done was done because you did not reply to your credit card companies inquiry as to its validity and that it was disputed at your request. The comments indicated are on the paper work. Please stop using the word "refunding." You made NO ATTEMPT TO REFUND. If you had done a "refund" rather than forcing us to dispute the charge this would not be an issue. The funds were removed yet again from my account on 8/31 and I sent you a request to simply pay me via pay pal and be done with it which you refused to do. I have made suggestions on how to fix this but instead I am going to deal with more time and hassle. read more
