The personalization desk staff are very helpful and attentive. For only $5, you can have your Bible or journal personalized. I recently was in search of a new journal for the new year and found that the prices in-store are better than online. My family and I love coming to this store, as it's bright, welcoming, and great variety of products. I bought the journal and one of my kids found a Bible and we had it personalized. The staff are absolutely wonderful and super helpful. Jennifer at the personalization desk did a beautiful job on the personalization. We love this store and staff and enjoy coming as often as possible and find great deals and quality products. Example: 16 years ago we bought one of our family's favorite Christmas family devotional sets that we still use every year, a Christmas nativity activity called "What God wants for Christmas" - a testament to the great quality sold at Mardel!

But both ladies working were so kind and easy to work with to help me get a custom arrangement in about 10 minutes. I gave maybe 3-4 notes on what I know my wife likes and doesn't really like, and they came out with the most beautiful bouquet. I buy my wife flowers fairly often, at least once per month for a couple of years now. She stated this is the most beautiful bouquet I've ever brought home (the vase used is a transfer vase they let me have to keep the flowers in good condition on the way home). Thank you so much!! I will be back!

THESE PEOPLE ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SENTIMENTS OF PEOPLE IN THE GUISE OF BUSINESS!!!…read more I was a customer of srishti since they opened. I used to frequent to vivek before they opened. The very first day I went to check them out, one of the lady who is working said she doesn't know the price of the item exactly and charged me a sum which was higher and said she would pass me the money next time. I never went back for the money nor the lady ever called me. They are nice as in customer service but business wise they are crooks doing everything unethical!!! I went to pick up Pathri and Ganesh figure for Ganesh chaturdhi and after reaching home and opened the packet everything was rotten, it has mold in them and all the waste leaves they could find on streets they packed and sold for $7!!! Unbelievable!!! They do not have any ethics or morals & unethical business practice over people's sentiments on festivals & God!!!! Pathri pack Is comprised of various leaves! I agree they are hard to find in this side of the world. But the basic leaves such as tulasi leaves, grika (grass), mango leaves, bel leaf etc are replaced with God knows what!!!! They threw in everything they could find on the streets and trails and sold them!!! I bought mango stems at $2 per stem!!!! As per Pathri ,I had to throw it away!!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! It's not about the money but having some sense of respect and being true!!!!

I think this association is due to the fact that I come here almost exclusively to attend their psychic fairs, classes and sessions (as opposed to only shopping). Here you can get a tarot card reading, communicate with loved ones on the other side, find out who you were in a past life and meet your spirit guides, just to name a few of the opportunities for spiritual exploration that they offer. Some of my experiences have been so enlightening and impactful that I would describe them as life changing. As far as the store itself and the merchandise they sell, to me it's more like the gift shop attached to an attraction. Like most gift shops, it's enjoyable to browse, but the goods can be a little expensive. However, these days with the pervasiveness of online shopping, it's the price you pay for the ability to see/touch/smell items before you buy them.

The store does have some cute items (but not much different than Hobby Lobby). I love shopping and would probably shop at this boutique more often but I actually avoid the store because I find the employees or owners very unfriendly and that has stayed consistent over the years. I have never been "welcomed" at Hearts Desire or asked "is there something you are looking for" or been told "thank you for shopping". I get a very inhospitable vibe from this store that comes off very catty. Anyway no more shopping here for me, not even in a time crunch.
