With more than two decades experience in this field, Patti is highly skilled in the art of permanent hair removal. Electrolysis can be a painful experience, but Patti has a magic touch and delivers a practically pain-free service with a gentle touch. Electrolysis works by inserting a probe into the hair follicle, lighting it up with electricity, and cauterizing (burning) the hair's root. It sounds painful. I've been to other electrologists in which it was indeed very painful. And yet Patti works her magic with minimal discomfort. With the exception of some of the more sensitive areas on the face, I literally feel no pain or discomfort at all. I've been getting electrolysis done for some time and when the lady I used to go to closed up shop, I was so nervous about who I would go to next. I'm so glad I was forced to find someone else because Patty is the best in this area! Shes been doing electrology for so long and knows so much about the process. Her work area is very clean and sterile, she uses a new needle each time and will show you the needle in the packaging before opening it for use. She offers ice packs to help numb up the area as well which makes the pain totally bearable and she adjusts the machine according to your needs and tolerance levels. I can't say enough about how amazing Patti is. Even though I live in Buffalo, I make the 1.5 hour drive to Patti's because I just didn't feel comfortable with any other electrolysis provider near me.
