We were able to get a same-day appointment for pedicures for 3 people. I believe it is a mother-son operation and they were very accommodating to our requests. The chairs are showing their age a bit, but were still comfortable. We were very pleased with the results. read more

These people don't answer their phone, they are understaffed and can't accommodate a simple polish change with only 2 customers in the salon. I don't like how the lady laughed like somehow that was funny she couldn't take a client. Lame. read more

Trash. I just needed a touch up and they were more concerned with closing then my business

My husband and I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. When we walked in, we were immediately turned away and told they only take appointments. I asked when their next availability was, and the elder lady member said there wasn't any availability today there was a male staff there just sitting and just one person in the chair receiving service. I mentioned that we were in town for several days and could come back later, but she still insisted there was no availability without even checking the schedule. It was clear to us that she just didn't want to serve us, and we felt stereotyped and unwelcome. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and we won't be returning. If you value good customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

Walked in easy. Lovely lady took me in and a got padi in no time. Quiet not busy spot. Clean. Plenty of parking in front. read more

I'm new to the area and in need of several different services. Linna and her son teamed up for my manicure and pedicure. They both did a great job and paid attention to every detail. They are friendly and professional, and the price is reasonable. Thank you, Linna! I'll see you again and again!! read more

Very bizarre dynamic in this establishment. The matron was snippy at us. We were there for three pedicures and we each had three different people work on each one of us. It One gentleman was very personable and the other gentleman clearly had some mental health issue. Nails Turned out wonky. Very sketchy vibe in there. read more

My girlfriend and I came in for pedicures while on a girls weekend. They were able to fit us in. The staff was very friendly. Soft relaxing music like a spa. They made our toes look brand new! read more

My mother walked in to see if they had any availability for us both to get mani/pedi. She stated the woman who was servicing a customer looked shocked to see her. The woman quickly told her that they only take appointments. Hmmm, even thought the sign on the glass says 'walk ins welcome.' Do not recommend. read more

I had a wonderful manicure and pedicure with Quinn. The salon is clean and located in the same center as Safeway. Quinn did a great job and the cost is very reasonable. He came in early to accommodate me and I was very grateful for that. I recommend Silky Nails for anyone who wants a no frills mani pedi. read more

Can't comment on quality of nails but I can comment on customer service. This one star is my comment. Rude, unhelpful and dismissive. "Oh we have no time for you" (literally two people getting their nails done and three workers). "Oh we no do acrylic today" Then some other broken English nonsense as I turned to leave in shock of how they just basically told me to "get lost". Maybe they made a judgment call based on the way I look? It was honestly weird and since I'm younger and not white skinned they assumed I don't live here and I don't have a lot of money? Well, they assumed wrong if that's what happened, lol. Crazy that they can stay in business with the way they treat locals who are coming in to spend money. Maybe the old lady with the horrible accent was having a bad day or maybe they are just always useless and rude. I'll never know because I'm never setting foot into that crud hole again. No matter, I'll go to the place up the street. No difference to me. I'm sure these guys will go out of business soon. read more

This was the worst experience I have EVER had at a nail salon. First, is that they didn't have any acrylic nails, and the job on my gel mani/pedi was horrible. Next, it was very unsanitary there were several cockroaches in the building, and the man doing my nails was coughing and sneezing without covering his mouth (he coughed on me a few times). Last, the tools they were using were disgusting and the man doing my nails gave me a cut on my toe leading me to get an infection. So I would really not recommend going hear. read more

Visiting Sedona, needed to get our nails done. Party of 4 manicures and 4 pedicures. Called the night before to get an afternoon appointment the next day. Smooth phone call, appointments easily set. Showed up on time and got the most amazing manicure and pedicure! Very friendly staff, very professional. Reasonable prices, and great nails. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this business, hands down! For reference, we got regular pedicures and gel manicures. Impressed with my nails! read more

I got a real lousy pedicure from this place. The guy doing the work talked to himself and acted like he hated what he was doing. It was the fastest pedicure in history. He was sort of scary too. Not the first bad experience, but thought I would give them another chance. I will not make that mistake again. read more

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. My mom and I had a great time here getting mani/pedis and they're also very nice. It's in the same lot as the Safeway and McDonald's. We'll be back :) read more

I can't comment on the actual service because we didn't get that far. To say they were rude is truly an understatement. I have never walked into any service establishment where you felt unwelcome the moment you cross the threshold. Her energy was negative with a capital N and customer service doesn't grace that place. Accommodation isn't an option. Listening respectfully isn't an option. I don't recommend it at all! read more

If you need somewhere to go in Sedona for a mani or pedi, and you are in a time crunch, this place would work, IF you request the woman to do your nails. The young man who did my pedi was socially odd, laughing inappropriately & speaking tangentially. If those were his only faults, I would go back again. But he did a terrible job on my feet. He seemed more interested to talk about his life & follies than making sure my nails were done well. read more

Beyond rude!! I called and made an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. When I arrived I was told you can only do gel on one or the other because they didn't have time. So what's the point in an appointment right? There's no point I'd NEVER recommend this place to anyone! I should've listened to the reviews and stayed away! To top it off not only was their customer service awful but so was their service I could've done a better job myself. LESSON LEARNED! read more

I didn't get to utilize their services, but I waited for my wife while she did. The people seemed friendly and they worked pretty fast. My wife seemed relaxed (always a good thing) and was pleased with her pedicure. I thought her toes looked pretty when they were done too. read more

Really poor experience here...my friend and I went to get pedicures and manicures while we were on vacation. We both asked for the deluxe pedicure- which is NOT deluxe whatsoever. The man doing my services had the LIGHTEST touch I've ever felt from anyone ever doing my nails- felt like he was grossed out by my feet and hands or something, quite frankly it was bizarre. I would leave a one star, but the place was clean, which was the only saving grace. Way too overpriced for the deluxe pedicure. When it came to my manicure, there was still DIRT UNDER MY NAILS!! I asked twice for him to remove it, and he never got it out. He clearly had zero interest in doing my nails whatsoever. Really weird experience. read more

I have had two pedicures with Loc and he is AMAZING! I find him to be very heart centered, he takes his time and is totally present with me. He does an incredible job! And they last for a long time. I highly suggest him if you want a great pedicure at a great price with a wonderful man. read more

I was a walk in and even though the were a little busy they got to me quickly for a pedicure. A younger gentleman did my service and he gave a fantastic foot and calf massage, plus my toes look perfect. The place is clean and everyone was friendly. read more

I'm on vacation and so I walked in one morning around 10 in the morning, they had one customer getting a pedicure. I asked if I could get a gel manicure and the woman told me they were all booked until 2:00 that afternoon. She had three appointments on the book after 11 and nothing else. There was no one there waiting just one employee playing around with her own nails. Definitely will not recommend them. Obviously walk ins are NOT welcome. read more

I experienced the same rudeness as other potential customers. Was on vacation and looking for a appointment. Walked in to some very negative energy. I greeted "them" and felt like I was interrupting them. There were only 2 customers at 10am, but she said "we can only get you in at 2pm". I left and took my business elsewhere. read more

First, I don't like it when I am lied to. Second, I don't like it when a busiess thinks I am stupid. What a rip off!! THese business owners need to figure out what "gel nails" means. They know, they just rip you off read more

Please do NOT go here. My friend and I were told to come at 5pm. When we arrived, it was strange, not one other person was in the nail salon. The entire place was empty. I could see the price list on the wall. I had a pedicure and my friend who is male and does NOT wear nail polish had a mani pedi. He has an injury to his hand and is unable to cut and file his own nails at the moment. We were overcharged for all services. the service was poor and bizarre. When I questioned the higher prices, I was told there is a new price list that is not on the wall yet. It felt like a scam. Furthermore, the place is not unclean, unwelcoming and the service is just plain weird. read more

Would not recommend. A 5 yr old could do a better job on a pedicure. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I had an impromptu trip and Thank Goodness my regular guy was booked up and I was forced to try someone new. I called everyone and they were all booked up. Resigning my fate to go here, based on the terrible reviews on the guy, I surrendered and went to get my new set of acrylics. I am originally from NJ and hate to say spoiled by excellent nail techs in NJ and Manhattan. I moved here august 2014 and have tried 4 other nail places. Up till I had Jack do my nails they all glob on the acrylic and make your nails look cartoony instead of real. Jack at Silky Nails did the best job I have seen on my nails in 17 years since moving to AZ from NJ. I keep looking at my hands and my nails are stunningly beautiful. He custom picked a color for me better than I had chosen and said this will be my color. I have to agree as the neutral is the classiest color I have ever worn on my hands and toes outside of French. He made my nails look real and were just thick enough to be durable as I am very rough on my nails tossing heavy bolts of fabrics around. He gave them a beautiful square shape too. He was very pleasant, too. A tall lanky guy who cares and likes to make jokes while he does his work. He knew I was going to my boyfriends house and said jokingly he'd make them long and pointy like a cats as I am a cat lady to the core. In my opinion the people writing horrible reviews about him must have had a bee in their bonnets. If you relax and trust him and give him information about what you love your nails to look like he will deliver. In fact. I have begged everyone doing my nails up till him to grind off my real nails on the back side so they looked pretty. They all refused or played stupid. Honestly, I hate having my nails removed and a fresh set put on. It hurts so much! I told Jack and he accommodated me! He just removed the bad parts, ground off all my nails on the back side and gave me a fill and spared me so much agony. I give this guy a "10!" Excellent work and customer service. I just hope he doesn't get so busy he can't fit me in! Now he's my nail guy and boy do I feel blessed! Great Job Jack! read more

Don't dare it. The guy doing my pedicure had no idea what he was doing. I told him to cut my toenails straight across and not rounded. He proceeded to cut off the corners of my toenails. When I told him I wanted them straight, he didnt understand and I found out he didnt speak English at all. I got up, put my sandals on my wet feet and left immediately. read more

The young man that works here obviously doesn't want to work. He gave my sister in law a terrible pedicure. He really didn't seem to know what he was doing. Nice people. Good job. Love my nails!

If you want old, gummy polish and a 1/2assed manicure that will last for exactly 1 day, this is the perfect place for such a manicure. The application of the polish, especially the all important base coat, was so sloppy and missed 1/2 my nail, coupled with the old polish that lacked a smooth application, the polish chipped and pealed after ONE DAY. Way to go, Silky Nails! read more
