Wow! What a fabulous experience...above & beyond what I expected! Some of the reviews I read were not very good, but I was traveling & needed a gel nail repair & a central place in Sedona. I decided to give it a try - I feel lucky I got to go there! The new owner Lisa is amazing...so warm & friendly, accommodating, professional, but fun & absolutely lovely! The salon is super clean & feels very zen. I started with a manicure by nail tech Roxanna - she did such an incredible job I decided to get a pedicure too:) She was careful, but thorough, detailed & precise & delightful! Truly one of the best I've ever had - I'm 53 years old:) Empire Nails is a GEM in Sedona! I will go there every time I visit & wish I had a salon of this quality where I live! read more

I'm very careful who I let do my nails as I have had some bad experiences in the past and I came across really positive reviews of the new owner of Empire nails therefore I decided to give Lisa a chance. I was so glad that I did because it was probably the calmest nail experience I have ever had! She did nails in a more caring and professional way then most places i've gone to. She had quite a few different colours to choose from and I got a gel manicure and pedicure and was very happy with the results. She was a really down to earth & a sweet person as well and we had a great conversation. The vibe of the place is calm and clean. When I'm back in Sedona I would only go back to her. Thank you Lisa- Sedona is lucky to have you :) read more

I got a pedicure with Andrew today. He was super sweet, detail oriented. I was in and out in 30 min. This place has great team & relaxing, clean environment. read more

I went as a walk in for a pedicure... Andrew was able to see me in 30 mins, so I went next door to the consignment shop. (I tried a few things on, but things didn't fit as I hoped.) Before I knew it, it was time for my appointment. I explained to Lisa (new owner) that I read the reviews and chose her place because of them. Lisa is wonderful and bubbly and welcoming. Andrew and I had great conversation and he took his time with me. (I have an upcoming booking for a full set with him, and he has allotted plenty of time so that it is done right.) My boyfriend was able to book a massage for the same time, and he was very happy with the quality massage he received as well. I am traveling to the area on vacation, but I cannot recommend this location enough. Clean. Quaint. Calm. Inviting. Have patience. Book an appointment as this business is limited staff, like most places post COVID. You will walk away with exactly what you want and you'll feel like a valued customer. read more

The new owner Lisa is a delight! I was long overdue for a mani/pedi and she fit me in last minute. She was also so kind and understanding when I ran into some unforeseen traffic. Andrew did my Gel Mani + Regular Pedi and I'm so happy with both services. Felt comfortable in the clean space and appreciated the attention to detail on my nails. This is my new go to nail salon in Sedona! read more

There is a new owner, Lisa, who offers many services beyond nail care. I highly recommend her!

The new business owner has completely turned this salon around! Seeing that all recent reviews were 5 stars, my sisters and I booked pedicures. The salon is clean and all three members of the staff were pleasant and efficient. We loved our pedicures and the prices are reasonable. This will be our new go-to when we are in town. read more

Lisa is extremely nice and professional, she's the new owner so disregard the crappy past ratings and come check out her business. Everything was clean and service excellent. Called Lisa and she fit me in same day, super nice and friendly, and she did a great job, all while making me feel welcome, and we all had great laughs chatting! Ruby the other lady working also seemed exceptionally nice and efficient. I absolutely love Lisa's work today, feels like I have the galaxy at my fingertips with the metallic silver gleam! Believe it or not, I came in here with 4 guys, so that made 5 of us total. To say I was outnumbered would be an understatement! You would think that this is a typical 'girls day out' thing to do but nope, not for our family! My dad, uncle, and cousins asked for a pedicure/foot massage while we were celebrating Father's Day in Sedona. Welp, their wish was my command! We were greeted by Kathy who was friendly and made sure to get us in the chairs right on time. They had exactly 5 pedi chairs so it was perfect! The guys were in heaven because there was a TV directly across from the chairs and they even put on sports for them! I had Shawn and holy pedi heaven, he gets 10 stars in my book! It was literally the BEST foot massage that i've ever had in my life. He knew all kinds of techniques and definitely made sure that I had 'happy feet' by the time that I left. We had an absolute blast and my dad (who is a Sedona local) will most definitely be back for a foot massage/pedi from Shawn. He also gave my dad a scalp and neck massage which for sure won over his heart! FYI: The guys DID NOT get color on their toes, just in case you were wondering. I tried, but had no luck! read more

Only leaving one star because I can't leave 0. Absolutely terrible customer service. We called to make an appointment, but showed up about 10 minutes late due to Saturday traffic - we are from out of state & did not know there would be traffic. We also got lost due to traffic & were trying to get there ASAP. The woman was SO rude to us and I explained (very politely) that we'd gotten lost. She was upset we didn't call, we didn't get the chance while trying to figure out how to get to this location in traffic. The woman was SO rude, we ended up leaving. My friend went back in when she heard how rude she was to me, and she called my friend an asshole. Who speaks to people that way?! Absolutely do not recommend. read more

I'm a Sedona local who gets regular pedicures. I've been frustrated for years with the overall quality of nail salon options in town. When I heard Empire Nails was under new ownership, I knew I had to check it out... and I'm so happy I did. Lisa is absolutely fantastic - she's meticulous and such a joy to chat with. I get compliments on her work all the time. She's become my go-to - I do my best to see her every 5-6 weeks. Highly recommend! read more

I love my nails and the fact they have different pink powers and flair nail tips (a lot of salons really don't anymore), so I made an app and was taken care of as soon as I got there. I got Kathy the owners wife. It was my first time here so I was kinda nervous especially since their reviews aren't the best. Kathy was slow and was getting frustrated with the powders and had to use different ones until they finally worked but all in all it was a good job. A little pricy but they're pretty will be back! read more

We went to this location this weekend and arrived close to 5:30. On the website the location closes at 7pm. We were approached by an elderly white man at the door. We asked if they were open and his response was "we are closed" We continued to say that the site said they closed at 7pm. He then said " I am the owner and I close when I am hungry.. I am hungry now so we are closed" He was very rude. DO NOT GIVE THIS SITE YOUR BUSINESS. read more

I called the NEW owner Lisa today and she got me in that day with an hours notice. I was weary given previous reviews but I was happily delighted when I got there and was greeted by her warm personality and welcoming smile! I learned that she was the recent new owner. I had the best conversation with Lisa and she gave me a very professional gel manicure. The salon was very clean and she made sure through every step of the way that my manicure was up to my standard. I will definitely be visiting this salon next time I'm back in Sedona. It was REASONABLY priced which is rare in this area. If you are in the Sedona area I HIGHLY recommend this salon!! Given that the tourist season is picking up I also recommend making an appointment days in advance. I never write reviews on yelp but my experience here blew me away. I hope you all visit this salon and get a chance to meet and bond with the owner Lisa! read more

I got my nails done here while I was visiting Sedona. I called ahead to make an appointment for a fill. When I got there, I was greeted by friendly staff and seated right away. I had my nails done by a lady that was newly hired. Unfortunately she was not comfortable with the electric drill and kept rubbing my fingers and eventually cut me pretty bad. The lady was very sweet and my nails ended up looking nice but was extremely expensive for the experience I received. I paid $69 for a gel acrylic fill. read more

I was very pleased when I was offered a walk in this morning. While I have to say everyone there was very kind, the woman who did my pedicure absolutely annihilated my toes. When she was filing my nails (even the top surfaces), she filed my skin down completely on every toe and the entire rest of the pedicure was burning. My feet are now throbbing as I have antibacterial ointment soaking on my very swollen and irritated toes. Pictures were earlier today, and it's much worse now. Again I really hate to give a local businesses a bad review, they were very kind and maybe it was just a one time thing, but I will now be spending the next week healing my feet. read more

A friend and I went into this salon while on our vacation, and immediately upon walking in we witnessed the manager get into a fight with one of her employees and he left the salon right then. We were then both yelled at to hurry up and given only a few minutes to choose a color. The whole manicure was completely rushed, and my nails were done in a square shape instead of coffin like asked. The guy who did my nails poked fun at me for looking younger than I was and for having small fingers, and the dude who did my friends acrylics did not put tips and put the acrylic directly on her real nails. My acrylic tips were cut with HOUSEHOLD SCISSORS, and the paint job was completely rushed so there are air bubbles and nail polish all over the place because he didn't clean them up afterwards. Same with my friends. read more

We were turned away from another nail place initially and we were taken immediately by Empire Nails. Jack was amazing did a beautiful French gel mani and pedi on me. Also squeezed in a pedi for my boyfriend. Very happy with the esthetic and customer service. Thank you again Jack, you were wonderful!!!!!!! Gel polish did not last as long as I wanted. This is not reflective of the technician but reflective of the owner. Please invest in better quality polish!!! read more

3 weeks ago I was vacationing in Sedona and Lisa did a manicure with gel nails for me. My mind is blown, not a single nail has lifted or chipped in any way. I've been getting my nails done off/on for 20 years (acrylic, dip, gel, polish) and I have never had a manicure last 3 weeks! Nothing before every lasted more than 1-2 weeks for me, I'm absolutely astonished and called Lisa to let her know.
