A couple of the teachers decided to carry on the magic of Kirkpatrick's and open up Better Together Dance Theatre. My daughter started dancing at Better Together 4 years ago in the Tiny Dancer class where her love of dance began (thank you Miss Kelly!!). The teachers/owners are amazing and the environment has made her grow into a confident little girl. This studio is no pressure, no competition just a nurturing place to be yourself, learn, perform and have fun! They have a small holiday showcase as well as a stage performance at the end of the season in June. I also started in their adult ballet program and it has made such a positive impact in my life, not to mention the BEST workout i've ever found! Now on my third season at CY, I can't recommend this studio enough! I've taken classes with multiple dance teachers here, each one as supportive as the next. I have been challenged by learning different dance techniques but supported every step of the way. My classes with Kito, Chloe, Oche, and Anthony have all helped shape me into a better dancer and also rejuvenated my love for dance. I love that CY offers classes for all ages and celebrates your hard work with an optional end of season recital. Chantelle is an incredible owner who takes stride in gathering and responding to feedback. She loves to support other businesses as can be seen in her constant collaborations. He has a lot of knowledge to offer and has years of experience. Since I've never taken ballet as a child, I appreciate his pointers and give me a better understanding of the ballet technique. He is very competent at his job and you can tell he enjoys it, he also has a sense of humor and makes learning fun. The students are all friendly and various ages. This is a review for the business practice not the dance class…read more My daughter wants to try ballet so I contacted the business via its website for a trial class and mrs Briones never once told us there is a trial fee. But after the trial when we decided to join another ballet school, I kept getting an email about $20 fee. All other Ballet schools in the area offer a free trial class and to me it is a standard for a good Business. If I would have known there was a fee, I wouldn't even try. On their website there is an offer for Free boy trial class so it is totally not transparent. The business clearly doesn't disclose its business policies to its customers. Please on the watch out for their shady practices. Update So I saw a reply message from the owner explaining why there was a trial fee (which again wasn't communicated at all from the beginning via email).But what made me even more upset was when she/he stated "we saved your spot for months"...OMG that was totally incorrect!!! Luckily all my communications with them was via email so I had smt to go back to.

My daughter had 15 friends join her for a paint party at netra studio. The teachers were absolutely amazing. They were so patient with all the kids and the paintings turned out so well. It's a really spacious studio with a kitchen, microwave and refrigerator incase you need to store any perishables for the party! We loved the whole experience and will be definitely back for more experiences like this.

My daughter has been attending Small Fry Dance Club for a month now. I would recommend the toddler…read moreclasses to a friend! My daughter has a blast dancing and being goofy. She's a very timid kid who's normally very clingy to me. Since her first session she felt comfortable and ready to participate and looks forward to going back each week. She's 3.5 for reference. I do have two cons: The first: parking. It's not really within their control and there are options. The small parking lot and garage are very narrow but not a deal breaker. We prefer to park on El Camino (which has its own challenges with how busy the road is). It's close to HWY 92 which is a plus for us. The second: there are huge windows to watch your child dance/participate yet parents grab chairs and pull it up to directly in front of the glass which makes it harder for everyone else to watch. And those same parents that put their chair against the glass (blocking everyone else's view) end up on their phone not even watching. I wish the school would put up a sign and remind parents to sit further away so everyone can watch.

It's a nice way to introduce different styles of dance to younger kiddos before committing to a specific style of dance. They do two recitals a year - one in December and one in June. I will say, this is definitely not a conventional dance class. It's more play, movement with props and toys. But my toddler LOVES it. I plan to keep her in Small Fry until she turns 5. I will then transition her to PCPA, which is the sister program to Small Fry for older kids.
