Great ambience. It was very relaxing and you get to smell all the tea before you choose one to drink if you want.

I always had a good experience at this location but a few weeks ago that changed. I went in and…read morethey had about 12 packs of wings marked for around two dollars. I was excited but not surprised because they normally have really good deals and random sales. Well on this occasion I go to pay for them and the lady at the register say this is a really good deal. The lady behind her (older lady) say what and the lady who is assisting me said well I am not sure this is right. The older lady walk over and say not this isn't. She said the should be the price of the legs not wings. She then took all the wings out of my cart and said he can't have them. Called someone from the back gave them the wings and said "he trying to get them for the price of legs. This isn't right take them back." She never told me the price they should of been and never gave me an opportunity to pay the correct price. I asked for the right price and she yelled "2.99 but he should have known that wasn't the right price. ". Referring to me as if I put the price on the meat. I am now debating if I would return to this location. I felt embarrassed and if they felt I was trying to still t from them. I rushed out after paying for the rest of my items yet to return.

(FYI - a place where bees are kept, a collection of beehives) Honey always catches my eye, especially raw honey. This vendor had adorable gift boxes that included honey, a candle, soap, chapstick, a wooden honey stick and a jar of rock looking things which I now have discovered is "bee pollen". So cool.. now also, googling what to do with bee pollen. In all, this is a perfect gift for any honey enthusiast or someone who enjoys local products. Upon checking out their website, they also sell, hot honey, creamed honey, mini honey and also subscriptions to honey - something I've never heard of. Whats even more fascinating is that according to their website, they carry "NC Queen Bees" (specifically Carnoiolan or Italian Queens) in which you can buy in hives from April to September (which can be mailed or picked up at the farm) and these bees are apparently "well-tempered" and resistant to pests and diseases. Super duper cool. I didn't get to chat more with the vendor at the market but will certainly do so next time I stop by. I have lots more questions. Wow, you learn something new everyday!

You have to purchase tickets online (no on-site sales) and it's $18.95 pp which gives you access to the apple orchard, apple tasting, hayride to the orchard, cider pressing demonstration with a fresh cider sample and access to the catch and release fishing pond. They suggest that you bring your own pole and bait. You also get to sample an apple cider slushee which was refreshing after being in the sun picking apples. If you want to pick apples, it's an additional cost based on whether you want a 1/4 peck or 1/2 peck. You have to purchase that when you purchase your event ticket. The apples that they had available were Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Fuji and a really tart apple that's good for baking (I forget the name of the apple). They also have Arkansas Black apples but they weren't ready for picking yet. We had a great time picking apples. We're from South Florida where you only see apples in the grocery store. There's a play area for the kids to run around and play. It's a fun activity, especially if you have kids.
