Because of the hours, shorter wait times, and comfortability i have had here, i even switched dr shaw to my primary doctor! I could never get into see my actual doctor when i needed.. never ! It was always someone different who didn't know me... the couple of doctors here already know more about me and i can tell they care ..plus they actually listen to what you are saying about YOUR BODY. Just go if you have a problem, you wont regret it. The only downfall is having to fill out a form each time before being seen even after they know my entire family at this point and they have all our information but maybe thats just my pet peeve. it does seem like the receptionists have a high turnover rate and sometimes they don't exactly know what to do, but there is always someone there to help and figure whatever it is (typically insurance issues)..

She re herniated it 2 days from coughing since she got pneumonia . Her neurologist wanted a second opinion on what to do next . We called Doctor Geigers office and was told she had to wait SIX MONTHS to be seen by the almighty doctor since he thinks it is unethical!! We thought knowing we had a great referral from another doctor I would call again and explain the situation. Keep in mind my Daughter is 24 And has been through a lot this last year! 5 foot surgery's ,tonsillectomy ,back surgery that ended up with her in the Er from pneumonia and almost died before they had to put her on a ventilator!! Dr. Swift quickly evaluated the issues and let me know I would have to have surgery because I had a torn meniscus. After MRI and X-ray it was confirmed. Dr Swift preformed surgery on me with in the week. After surgery I met with Dr. Swift again and he spent time with me to help me understand my recovery. He was very attentive to my needs and questions. My recovery and experience has been great. I try to send everyone I know to Dr. Swift.

I was a patient of Dr. Sharon's at this office for several years. She left and I was given no…read morenotice of this. No letter in mychart, no letter in the mail. I am in the middle of some serious medical issues and have no doctor assigned to me. I was told there is no one taking on her patients. I wanted someone to go over my MRI results with me and was given an appt with the NP Stephanie Workman who I requested to not be seen by. During said visit she states "well, I don't typically read MRI's but I'll read what's stated on the report". I did that myself and searched on Google prior to the visit. I stated I would like a doctor note for my back issues as I have been coming for this since September of 2023 with no type of resolution to be met with "You can ask the sun of your employer it doesn't mean they will work with you". I had already cleared this with my employer and should not be ridiculed by your NP who thinks she knows my situation at work. She just did not want to take the time to write the work restriction note and it was clear she didn't want to help me. Her attitude is poor and she seems to not know answers. I have a current referral to U of M for my back to which she asked why I was not going to see the back doctor through HF. This is exactly why. Almost a year of coming for the same issue with no answers and now no actual doctor assigned to me. I wasted my time to have zero questions answered by a nurse practitioner who could not answer them. I am fully transferring care to Beaumont as this whole situation with the doctor leaving was handled poorly and could have been taken care of in a more appropriate manner.
