Very friendly service. We placed a phone order so the food was ready when we got there. They had a good ambiance with the hockey game going and the decorations were really cute. They gave use a good amount of cabbage and sauce. I did ask for more because I love cabbage a lot. Only thing I would like is more spicy sauce next time.

In my opinion, the best pupusas I've had and for good reason. They are flavorful but yet not overpowering. They are freshly made to order, non-greasy goodness. The curtido or pickled cabbage is fresh and the salsa that accompanies it is not watered down like other places I've been to. I love this place, and if you're a gastronomy connoisseur like yours truly, I'm sure you will too!...So stop salivating at the photos and get on it! Thank you to my lovely friends, Jackie and Laura for treating me and introducing me to heaven on earth. Salvadoran Tip: Pupusas are meant to be enjoyed sans fork and knife, bare hands baby!

Great place to eat Salvadoran food Pupusas are $2 The owner is nice she was welcoming and even offered us jalapeños The pupusas are good ; my boyfriend is picky and he approved of them

The pupusa de arroz also delicious. Totally recommend!!! I appreciate that the pupusas are not "restaurant" expensive and they will always bring me back! This spot is a lowkey mom-and-pop shop, nothing fancy. It's my go-to when introducing people to my culture. The pupusas are pretty big, and they have a meal with 3 pupusas with a drink for about $10-13. When we sat down it was an hour before closing, but the waitress was very kind, attentive, and showed no sign of annoyance. She started us off with some complimentary chips and refried beans. My party of two ordered 6 pupusas, a coffee, horchata, and a chicken tamale. The chicken tamale was well-seasoned and large in size, and they didn't skimp on the chicken or masa. The best parts of the pupusas is that they have a lot of filling and they don't have excess corn flour (masa) around the edges. That takes A LOT of skill! They're also good as leftovers if you pop them in an air fryer on a low setting ;). Overall, I'd 100% recommend this restaurant to people.

Both the yucca and pork were cooked to perfection and was worth $11.50 - great portion and ate it as an entree although it's listed as an appetizer. The salpicón was tasty but small on the portion size for $18.50. The Ambiance on the first floor was very nice and not too loud despite having a bar - they also have a second floor which I imagine is a little quieter. Note that they charged a 'Restaurant surcharge' of about 10% of the total - not sure what that's for... Definitely try the fried or regular yucca with pork - Delicious!

Come on!)

The pupusas here are as close as it gets to the ones back home--perfectly handmade, with just the right balance of masa, filling, and that comforting crisp on the outside. The curtido is fresh, tangy, and not overly sour, and the salsa complements everything just right. It's rare to find a restaurant outside El Salvador that captures the flavor and heart of our food, but this one does. The attention to detail and authenticity truly made me feel at home. If you've never tried pupusas before, this is the perfect place to start. And if you're Salvadoran like me, you'll appreciate how close to home these flavors really are. Highly recommend--it's as good as it can get outside El Salvador!

Upon ordering, I was informed that it would be 25 min max for some food. I entered the restaurant 30 minutes after to wait an extra 20 minutes for the food. The minute I entered, I saw the cook barley starting my order. I was hoping it wasn't mine and mine was done but I was wrong. It was indeed my order being started. It was also very expensive. Each pupusa is $4.75. Although relatively large, they were pretty salty. I was surprised they had carne asada pupusa and wanted to try that. Those were $6!!! And very very salty. I did not finish it. The curtido looked old as well. I hate when I waste a good amount of money and am dissatisfied with my food. Feels robbed. Overall, glad I tried it, I won't be going back.
