Didn't eat here but BEWARE! I had dropped my phone outside the street parking & someone had turned it in to the lady that works in the restaurant. Once I located my phone on (find my iphone) it said it was inside the restaurant. Me "excited" walked in and politely asked the lady that worked there if anybody had turned in a phone she said "yes" and looked me up and down & asked how much money i was going to give her for it. Outstanding customer service. Thank you Martha for going above and beyond. Highly recommend the keto pupusas $4 each a little pricey but well worth indulging. I was trying to order these babies through Postmates and unfortunately they don't have them on the Postmates app menu. A few phone calls later Martha was able to satisfy my salvi cravings! Thank you for having these pupusas for all of us who are trying to shed some quarantine lbs. I've only seen keto pupusas made from almond flour but at this location cheese is being utilized to substitute the masa. A must if you're around the area. To the owner, please add these on Postmates! This place is very close to my home so I decided to stop by after making food all week. I noticed right away that they were a bit busy but they promptly let me know that they would be right w me. Very attentive. My husbands family is Salvadorian who cook many delicious meals so I get nervous when it comes to the authentic taste of the food found in Salvadorian Restaurants. I rarely go to Salvi restaurants since I can get most of the food I want from moms or grandma, but I was really craving a pan relleno and decided to give this place a try. The place isn't to far from my home so there is convenience. It is located right on State street which can be annoying because of the non stop traffic but they do have a parking lot in the back. A small one, but a parking lot non the less. I managed to snag the parking spot in the front of the restaurant so that was already a plus. I walked in and there was a distinct odor in the air. It didn't smell rancid or anything like that, but it was unique. Maybe cooking with some ingredients my senses aren't used to? I walked up to the counter and saw the two ladies in the kitchen. I thought I was at my grandma/aunts house lol. One of the ladies came to take my order. I told her what I wanted and she just left to the back. Then the other lady came out and didn't say anything, but I gave her credit card because I know I had to pay. Each pan came out to $5. Not bad considering they pack them. After watching some of the Real Madrid/Barcelona game I was starting to become frustrated that my order wasn't ready yet, but figured when food is made with love it needs a little more time. Finally my order came out and I was out the door. Went home and destroyed both. They aren't as good as my aunts, but they are good when you need something to hold over your craving. (was already irritated cuz it took 15 min before they noticed I was there, funny thing is there was only 3 other tables with customers.)
