Once I had my new envelopes I was able to give them to her. She made me feel so comfortable since the first call, she told me "don't worry I'll fix this mess" A few days later I went to her home, we sat down and looked into every detail of the lettering, she wanted to make sure she got everything right, so professional !! She showed me examples and she suggested the best one for my wedding. 3 days later she called me; my invitations were ready ! Would trust Lisa with everything calligraphy related . She told me if this was the worst part of the wedding everything was going to be great ! Thank you LISA !!!

Not only is her work beautiful, her prices are reasonable and she is so easy to work with. She always meets her or is ahead of deadlines too which takes a lot of stress off of the bride or family. She even found some errors and inconsistencies in the guest list I provided to her (which I had proofread many times). I was thankful that she was really paying attention and wanted a good product. Many vendors would have just given them back to me just like on my list but she really paid attention to detail. She called me to double check and turns out she was right (I had some zip codes wrong and misspellings, etc.) If you are looking for calligraphy, give her a call or look at her samples online.

I sent her a message, and she replied quickly. We had an initial Skype consultation. she asked me some questions on the style and material of the invitation cards, place cards welcome sign and based on my budget she came up with a schedule and itemized plans. Since we were getting married in Balboa park, I wanted our invitation card to have a sketch of one of Balboa Park's iconic Museums. Claudia came up with several mock up sketches to chose from. Her price was reasonable and she immediately captured my vision. Deadlines were met and Claudia did an amazing job. Our guests had nothing but positive comments to make on the little detail touches on the invitation card and place cards. I would highly recommend Claudia as she is very sweet to work with and you can trust her with any of your stationary needs.

I am sure this is on repeat for her review, but I just LOVE Taryn and everything that she creates…read more I was connected to Taryn from my wedding planner and she helped us create the most unique and beautiful wedding invitation and day-of items for our wedding. When I first met Taryn to talk about different ideas and options for our invitation, we talked about having a clean, tropical feel for our invitations. I also asked her to created a tropical monogram which we incorporated throughout the entire wedding. She was amazing with working with me on different ideas, any changes that I needed, and also helped out with making sure I was watching the budget as well. My husband makes surfboards, and we wanted to use a board he made as our "guest book." Taryn helped us make the monogram and worked with my husband on a special design items he needed to make the board as well. We made two different boards, and Taryn helped place the white vinyl monogram on one of the boards and it turned out amazing. We loved every piece that she created for our wedding suite invitation and all of her day of items (menus, seating chart, table numbers, napkins, signs, etc.) Taryn is an AMAZING artist and is so creative. Above all, she is the sweetest person, who is honest and truly went above and beyond for us. We are so sad our wedding is over and that we won't be able to keep creating new items together. Thank you for everything Taryn!!

Taryn takes on every task with a smile and is willing to try writing on pretty much anything. For our wedding we used confetti crackers as escort cards and Taryn's calligraphy took them up a notch! Our guests couldn't help but swoon over how pretty their names looked in her writing - so much so they a lot of them refused to pop the crackers and tucked them away in their purses as if they were the favors! (can you blame them though?). I still have the one she did for my husband and I proudly displayed on a bookshelf in our home! I've also attended one of her courses and she is an excellent instructor. She's kind, patient, and very thorough. She takes the time to explain the art of modern calligraphy, share information about what products she uses, and answer any questions you might have. Her workshops are adorable with beautiful flowers, amazing food, and tasty treats! My friend and I were having so much fun practicing the alphabet and asking her questions - before we knew it the 3 hours were up and it was time to go home! I can't stress enough how talented and passionate Taryn is about what she does. It not only shows in her work, but with the fact that she's willing to share that talent by teaching others the art of modern calligraphy. It's refreshing to meet someone who's able to put something together that's so beautiful and then is more than willing to share that talent with others. So no matter what way you work with Taryn, you'll be more than happy with the results! :)
