Last Saturday I had my last minute appointment, they were very accommodating and fast! My nails looks beautiful for my husband Christmas company party. I had dip and they did it nice and thin, looking very natural. I really recommend this place, it's a gem at the Natick Mall.

Barbie's Signature Nails are world famous and sexy AF. Impossible not to love them, really. We haven't had our nails done here but when we were in the Natick Mall,we were inspecting all the stores and checking out their sexy nail work, and looking in the prices - and we didn't see anything inherently wrong with this nail salon which has awful reviews. So I'm going to give them three stars because I think that the prices were fair and it looked like they were doing good work, but until Barbie actually gets her nails done here or I do mine - I guess I can't really bring them above at 3. And they didn't seem too friendly.

Before coming here, I'd only gotten my nails done professionally once. I saw the bad reviews and thought that it couldn't be worse than me putting nail polish on my own nails. It would save me the hassle and be fun to get a basic mani/pedi with my friend. The pedi was okay, but I'm not happy with the manicure I got. The two techs were polite but, despite the fact that there was only another customer, my nails were filed really quickly and without consideration. To get it fixed, I had to point out that painting over a few cracked spots would make the polish chip immediately. I wasn't going to leave a review despite the service being just ok right off the bat because the application felt smooth. However, it's been 3 days and my nails are already noticeably chipped in a few spots and I'll have to remove my nail polish after work. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary that would ruin them.

Walked in, asked how long. They said an hour. Came back in 58 minutes, asked to sit. No problem, it was an estimate. Then 50 minutes later, someone else walks in and asks how long for a walk in, they tell her to have a seat, they'll be right with her. Wife stands up and asks "how much longer". I think they forgot about her. Worse, they had the nerve to say "five more minutes" because there was another (third) walk-in who they said they could do fast but my wife's would take a long time. (She was getting manicure + gel tips.) Yeah, um, no. If they had said "come back in 2 hours" at first, or even "sorry, it will be longer than expected" when we showed up at the requested time, I would have zero problems. Walk-ins take that risk. But not forgetting while WE ARE SITTING RIGHT THERE, and helping others, then even saying they will do the fast ones first? HELLLLLLS NO. (Plus you know damned well it would not have been 5 minutes.) After "the look" from my wife, they take her next instead of the "quick" one. I was of the opinion we should leave because it is clear they do not actually give a shit about customers. But we waited nearly an hour in the salon after wondering around the mall for an hour, so she wanted to get the work done. End of day, the nails were OK, not great.

Bad polish - not even two coats to totally cover my nail

Spent a total Of $116 with tip here for gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. Pedicure polish and cut is one of the worst I've ever had - I will to have them redone before the wedding I have to go to. What a waste of time and $. Gel Manicure was not so bad - I'll see if it lasts I should have checked yelp before coming here

Dip manicure with design by Kelly

5 stars for Nina! She did my pedicure and did the design I wanted and checked on me constantly through the pedicure. She was very present, skilled and meticulous. She didn't do sns dip when I saw her but did gel otherwise I would have wanted her for my manicure as well. I will request Nina whenever I go. Kelly did my manicure. She was nice as well but she was definitely distracted at times and I felt the manicure would have been done sooner and with more care if she wasn't . See the pictures I post of my pedicure (Nina) and manicure (Kelly). Kelly did my 4th fingers with the design going the same direction which seems odd to me. She seemed to rush my drying after she started the design and there was no hand massage. It even a little one. I did not feel as cared for but then again I had just seen Nina. I would say that Kelly does a good enough job, is very nice, and I don't have bad to say about her at all. My style is not I. Line with Nina. Nina also waxed parts of my face and again was caring, meticulous, and thorough. I will happily return to this salon and recommend it to you. The manicure took longer and I was ready to leave the salo. Because my boyfriend had already been waiting for me. So I definitely take some responsibility for not speaking up more for my manicure.

I don't get the bad reviews... I went to another nail salon with much higher reviews and left with bleeding painful cuticles. The woman was so fucking harsh... I wasn't expecting amazing here as I had to get my nails done and go shopping at the same time. Two birds in one stone. It's not luxury but for $14 what do you expect? I got plain clear French for $5 more and and then $5 for tip. Cheap as fuck. Jason did my nails and I guess after that murderpedi anything felt great. He was careful in trimming my cuticles and was good at shaping the French tip. I didn't bleed! Their supplies don't look super clean but I'd prefer less sanitized stuff and people who don't make your nails bleed over sanitized stuff and bleeding painful cuticles. I think it was very decent for the price and location convenient in the mall. I'd go back for sure if I needed to get my nails done and go shopping.

Dark purple in certain light.

This place is my go-to, and they always do a great job. I just got an amazing mani pedi in this gorgeous fall color (Black Cherry Chutney by OPI) and it's perfect. They also give the best foot/hand massages!

The spa is in a business building; not what you would expect, but upon entering his suite; it was cozy and typical of a spa. We opted to both be in the sauna and cold plunge and then individually go in for massages once our sauna session was up. Sauna and adjoining room were clean upon arrival. Cold plunge tub was filled as we spoke (not ice cold, but cold enough for beginners). He reviewed protocol with us and left the room for us. Massages were individual and allowed us to utilize the sauna while the other was getting a massage. He was professional and it was a great massage. Pricing was extremely reasonable and we will be back. We normally go to Fire and Ice in Dedham, but they lack an in room cold plunge, which we really enjoy in combination with the sauna experience. I recommend Ron and his spa; he is passionate about a great experience. We look forward to returning.

I hate giving this one star as the barber there Geoff is exceptional and a master in his craft. I…read moreonly started to go because Geoff is an exceptional barber who owned his own shop previously and managed others before. He is one of the most friendly and cleanest barbers I've ever met so when he started working here I was excited. I have never left any review of any place in my life, but I had to since this was such a terrible experience. The only problem I've had here is with their manager Alana! I am not sure if she just hates men, or has never managed anywhere before, but was the most unprofessional manager I've ever encountered. I have 20 years of management experience and I am now a Director in my field. I have trained managers and staff for years. I know how managers should treat their staff and clients and was truly shocked at her behavior. Every time I've gone there prior, I have been greeted with a smile and offered a drink. She barely looked up at me and I had to ask if she could check me in. Strange I thought but whatever. They always offer a drink, even if I don't want one and almost always so no thank you. She didn't offer me anything other than a cold, sit down he will be with you soon. I was so put off right away! Then as I waited, she openly mocked another man who worked there with another staff she directly managed. She did it loud enough so everyone could hear her, it seemed intentional and I was shocked she did it so openly. I was thinking wow, what is going on here today so weird. The whole time I got my haircut she kept walking by the barber making insults and saying his area wasn't clean, or just weird remarks. At one point I did ask him if she was joking and he just shook his head and didn't address it. She seemed like she was harassing him honestly like a weird power trip that was meant to publicly embarrass him. She kept glaring over at us and was talking loud enough that we could hear her insult him, again very very unprofessional and awkward. If I were him I would have quit right there. However he kept his cool and didn't say a word to his credit. He must be used to it, but with many years experience in management, I can see that it was an intentional power trip at best, at worst discrimination. I wanted to get up and leave honestly but he wasn't even close to being done with my hair. She then came over again and mind you while he was working on my haircut, which is a fade and takes lots of concentration, she made another insult to him and then began to rip out his wheelie cabinet they use to hold their barber tools and made a scene basically yelling she know there was hair under there. I was so put off by that, that is something that could be addressed in between clients or before or after work, but again it was clearly her just harassing him because she cannot handle her title. So under the cabinet; there was like nothing there except like a tiny clump of hair. I couldn't believe she did that and nothing was there and i could see under the womens cabinets there were more than his so it was clearly intentional and just so odd. Honestly I don't like using this word, but unhinged is the only one to best describe it. Like a mother yelling at her child, only he is much older and clearly a much calmer better employee. Ive never met a manager who didn't want business; but every time I go they book a follow up and usually great. Alana didn't even look up at me, had a scowl on her face and didn't even ask me when I could book my next appointment. I waited for her to ask and/ or just look at me, but when she finally looked up it was a death glare, clearly in her own world so I didn't even bother asking to book my next one. When she checked me out it was so tense and awkward, she was very clearly angry at something but it couldn't have been me as I've never met her. My wife and daughters just started going there for their haircuts as well, but after telling my wife she now refused to go back and is trying a new place. She did mention she also was waiting for her haircut and heard a worker there insulting men and even had the girls take a walk so they didn't hear it. We respect everyone in our household and try not to subject our girls to sexism or hatred of anyone. My wife wasn't sure if it was the same person i encountered, but my best guess is that it was as the rest of the staff seem great, despite the horrible management. Again never in my life have I seen a manager so blatant with either sexism or incompetence or both. My family and I were about to get the entire family membership at Lifetime which is extremely expensive as our kids take swimming and gymnastics too, but due to Alana's unprofessional unhinged behavior we decided to not waste our money. If that is who they hire to manage the spa I can only imagine how poor the rest of their management team is. I have sent a message to the general manager as well. I am waiting on their response.
