You know they are going to be there when you walk out. Living in Katy, it's hard to find an uber or Lyft in the evening or at night coming back from IAH. Recently, my wife got dropped 6 times in an hour trying to get both a Lyft and Uber. I finally drove out at 8pm to pick her up. Price - reasonable. They compare to Lyft or Uber Black. Last Lyft to/from IAH was right at $100 each way (not Black service) or $200+tip. Return ride for me, late in the evening and had to wait 30 mins to finally get picked up. Lots of frustration. With AWR, it's a bit more expensive, but door to door service and guaranteed to be there. What is peace of mind worth. Great cars. This trip, very new Mercedes electric. Nice. Way nicer than Black Service from the other two. Easy to schedule online a day out or weeks out.

The company later addressed those concerns, and I agreed to update my review and rating accordingly. I rented a Rolls-Royce Ghost for my wedding on Friday night, and the service itself went smoothly. However, by Saturday morning--still during my wedding weekend--I began receiving persistent messages from the company pressuring me to change my review immediately. I informed a representative that I intended to update it by the end of the weekend, but despite this, I was met with unprofessional and increasingly aggressive behavior. Most concerning of all, I was threatened by the driver, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. The situation escalated to a point where I've seriously considered contacting the authorities. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this company. While the car was beautiful, the harassment and threatening behavior I endured afterward were completely unacceptable.

Stand alone facility (no crammed in a shopping center) 2. Clean facility 3. Plenty of Parking 4. A place that won't nickel and dime you 5. Great staff to work with ***First Impression: This place was even better than I remembered. They had done a ton of renovations and the place looked good, plenty of Parking and the staff was also so nice and courteous. Can I let you guys in on a secret? We would go to Signature Manor every month (because we chose to make payments) before we knew we could pay online... we didnt read the fine print... Anywho, we just enjoyed going there... Talking to the staff, asking questions... After a while, they were like family!! ***Venue: The venue is a nice stand alone. It is large on the outside and on the inside which is a great use of space. There are restrooms upstairs and downstairs. There is also an additional room upstairs for children or whatever you like. Essentially, the entire venue is yours. We have seen some nightmarish weddings where the guests are in the wrong wedding because they are connected/ joined. Not here!!! The separate Bride and Groom Suites are nice because they are right by the elevator and they have locks on them. Very safe! The ballroom is huge and the foyer area is big enough to host a ceremony or cocktail reception. ***Parking: There was plenty of parking, which wraps around the building. ***Food: The kitchen is super flexible and can accommodate anything. We had an amazing food tasting, where we were able to accommodate even our Vegan guests! The cake was also amazing. Yay Cakes by Gina! ***Staff: So, I must say, I am very detail oriented and thought that they may be a problem, but it was not! We worked with Katherine who helped our vision come to life. We hired several of their own vendors. (Chapel, Photo booth, catering, decorating, & DJ) Ali, the owner was very patient and worked with me all the way. I had to prove my wedding SEVERAL times and he was ok with it! I did end up paying a small date change fee, but that's because we changed it so many times . I will say this... YOU OR YOUR WEDDING PLANNER NEED TO STAY ON TOP OF THE VENUE. They are busy. It seems like they have several events every weekend so you sometimes need to call them and schedule viewing and planning sessions. THIS VENUE ACCEPTS PAYMENT PLANS! Yay! I do like that we can BYOAlcohol. I brought in kegs, wine, soju, & mixers. They provided all non alcoholic drinks including coffee after dessert! I got to the venue several hours early and put in the last minute details (I planned and ran my entire wedding. - no wedding planner or day of coordinator) my girls helped me stay on schedule but it was perfect! The place is beautiful and photos came out great. Star Photobooth provided the coolest inflatable photo booth! I did provide a scrapbook and stickers and markers to decorate though. However, ALL of my guests did NOT see the fruit/cheese bar set up on the other side of the ballroom. After about 30 minutes of mingling and drinking, some of the guests noticed the waiters taking the UNTOUCHED and UNEATEN fruit/cheese. One of my guests asked the waiter if some of them could grab a few things from the huge platter, but they were told that they couldn't. So basically- my husband and i paid for a nice fruit and cheese bar that was taken to the kitchen... Uneaten. We probably wasted a few hundred dollars on just that... That is probably the only complaint i have about this Venue. Other than that, my wedding was absolutely beautiful and went so smoothly. As other Yelpers have mentioned form and function. This venue gets the form right. My experience is as a humble guest who attends several weddings a year. Not in expertise by opinion only: Where ASG improved from a previous wedding reception was the staff seemed more capable. Where the experience echoed or fell down comparatively to a previous wedding reception and tonight was operations or function. What do I mean? The chapel is beautiful, the reception hall is expansive and the experience as a guest at the reception was somewhat surprisingly sad and disappointing. What do I mean? Function: No guests guidance. Tonight for 200+ guests things were quirky & seemed off with service. Function: There was no discernible heat in the reception area. It remained that way for the duration. No management visible to kindly discreetly dialogue. I looked. Function: One server at a buffet table, serving 200+ guests. Function: Kitchen service was slow. Form: Food was tasty. Rolls were excellent. Form: Staff seemed more capable but still unenthusiastic or engaging. Still a plus. Context: The MC spaced tables adequately but the que did not move much waiting on replenishment and being a one woman show. I want to be positive and fair. This repeats previous observation. Summing it up: I would recommend this place with a cautionary note about the food service and lack luster experience of ghosted senior staff members. I'm no expert. My take is in experience only.
