Great job at doing haircuts. 3rd time using them. They listen to you and give you exactly what you want and all that. Sonni did my hair twice snd I've liked it. Theres another gentlemen. But I cant remember his name. Good and friendly barbershop. Hidden away in the suburbs of ABQ. Vibe check is a pass. They have sports on TV. Laughter and just men being men. read more

Had a great experience. And great price not bad at all. I do recommend for ppl to get there cut here.

After reading the reviews I was excited to find a well rated local barber shop. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it. The "barber" seemed affable enough. Asked what I wanted and got to work. We got into conversation as he cut my hair. Found out halfway through that he was cutting hair in his dad's chair while pops was out of town. Is currently still IN barber school and doesn't have his certification yet. That's when I knew this probably wouldn't end well. Took a look when he showed me his work. Asked for a bit more off the top thinking it might look somewhat better and closer to what I was looking for. He didn't offer a second loon after the adjustment if asked for. Just took off the smock and said it would be $30. At that point, I immediately put my hat back on and paid so I wouldn't have to listen to him complain about his family life any longer, and left. Got home to see what was actually happening on my head and, well, it ain't pretty. I am now about to pull my own clippers out and attempt to fix this nightmare. This was just MY experience and is probably a one-off since there were no other barbers working. So I wouldn't completely write this barber shop off, but make sure when you go that you check your barber's credentials so you don't end up with a situation like mine. read more

Man with face tattoos was so rude. Absolutely messed my hair up, it's evident he has no experience cutting long hair. I showed him a clear picture of what I wanted, and he seemed like he was just there to get it over with. Took him 20 minutes at most to be done, and right after he finished he wanted me out of there. The other barbers seemed nice, however terrible experience overall and do not recommend the man I got. read more

Great barber Hugo. Relaxing atmosphere and serves both young and old. Very nice neighborhood barber shop.

I brought my 10 and 13 year olds to get hair cuts Dwayne was very patient and listened to how my boys wanted their hair cut attentively. He made sure they were 100% happy with their cuts!!! Thank you Dwayne we will be back again!!! read more

Me and my dad were rolling through town and I needed a haircut and we just called and asked if we could stop in and it turned out to be an amazing experience! I only needed a quick fade on the sides and it was a fresh nice haircut and I got line duo very well!! The vibe is so modern and clean it feels very fresh in there! Highly recommend! read more

Highly recommend coming to this barbershop!!! Definitely one of the top barbershops in ABQ and open most days out of the week! The staff is very friendly have different styles of work but all of them are very good. The aura of this place is so uplifting. They are good with kids as well- very impressive! My schedule is all over the place but they've never failed to accommodate me where I haven't been happy with my results (especially when I call the day before I need to get my boyfriend in for a cut.‍) Thanks so much Hugo and the signature cuts team! read more

The shop is clean and well kept. A typical guy vibe shop. Most if not all of the men are good guys and are not flaky when it comes to contacting them, making an appointment and them remembering said appointment. But that unfortunately that cannot be said for some of the female barbers at the shop Yes I know people can have bad days but when you reach out repeatedly to try and make an appointment and they flake out on you more than a couple of times it is problematic at that point. read more

When i first starting coming here it was cool. Cool ambiance, haircuts, and music. But the customer service is now HORRIBLE. Hugo is the owner and his 2 barbers are Cam and Allan. Cam does good haircuts but is not reliable. Ive had appts on 2+ occasions and he left me hanging. My time is valuable. Allan is unprofessional and provides bad customer service. His cuts are mediocre. Hugo- please provide additional training and feedback to your barbers. I unfortunately am forced to go elsewhere. read more

Love this place. Kimberely takes great care of me and on such short notice. The whole staff is awesome. I always feel very welcome here and to be quite honest, it's just a lot of fun to come here, period. I always look forward to it!! I get a pretty simple cut, nothing fancy but Kimberely has a way of always making it look top shelf. I see the other stylist too with their customers - one observation...this place has a ton of returning customer-which speaks volumes about them! Everyone working here takes great pride in their craft - again, just my observation. I've been coming here for over a year now and love it!! Thanks Kimberely!! You're awesome. read more

We are from Florida in Albuquerque for the balloon festival. My wife was on my case to get a hair cut last on was just before leaving home. 8 weeks on the road. We love Mexican food found a restaurant in a small strip center. When we came out A real barbershop was next door with a walk in welcomed sign out. Decided to go there. What a great experience. One chair was open and it was Hugo after the usual greeting asked me how I wanted my hair cut. We began chatting. First time there and you would think I had been a life time customer. This was a great experience and friends shop. If I could give it 10 stars the shop deserves it. read more

I went in here for a quick cut because my hair was just getting too long and I was pretty far away from my other barber. I walked in, place looked nice, clean and it wasn't that busy. There was a lady named Kimberly ready to take my cut and was super nice and gave me a full treatment which I didn't even ask for. After the cut I was just blown away, my hair never looked better. Super fresh, highly recommend to any guy. read more

Best barber in town. Been coming to him for years!! Always consistent and always working! Very professional, snagged out n definitely NOT mediocre!! read more

I came across this place one day after dropping off my daughter at school. I had been barber hopping since I moved to ABQ because I kept getting butchered at other barber shops. Hugo was the only barber working that day and ever since getting my hair cut by him he has been my go-to guy for haircuts. There are also two other very talented stylists here (a barber and a stylist for women). I recommend Hugo. He will fit you in on tight notice and give you an excellent haircut with a neck and sideburn shave. He can cut all varieties and lengths. Prices are very fair ($13). This place may not be located in the best-looking area but it is definitely a hidden gem for anyone needing a good quality haircut. read more

Got a good haircut here recently by Tanner. Very careful and precise cut. Walk ins are welcomed, though I think they prefer appointments.

Was introduced to this place maybe 6 years ago by a coworker and haven't stopped going sense. Fair pricing and friendly staff. Not to mention very flexible with scheduling and walk-ins. Couldn't speak more highly of this establishment. Highly recommend going! read more

I went here about a week ago to fix a haircut that vip barbers dids. I went to alan. Lets say he is a super barber. He managed to make me look like a civilized human being again. Anyone who could fix the hack job that happened to me and charge a decent price should be nominated for a nobel peace prize. read more

I have been searching for a simple barber. Someone who is dedicated, quick, good and affordable. Such a person exists in Albuquerque. Hugo at Signature Cuts (near Alameda and Louisiana in NE Heights) is a great, friendly, talented guy. I walked in, without an appointment, he promptly greeted me, and I waited less than five minutes to get into a chair. He gave me the best haircut I've had since coming to ABQ. He even shaved my sideburns and neck. This is old-fashioned service from a guy who knows what he is doing. The charge? Only $13. Very affordable. The place isn't fancy but it's comfortable. There's plenty of free parking. It's a neighborhood place - the kind I like to go to often. Since SportClips lost my favorite stylist I will be going to Signature Cuts from now on. It's faster, better, cheaper and no drama. Very highly recommended. read more

Hugo always takes his time with my little mans fade and does a great job every time! Make an appointment because he's pretty popular!

Walked in with no appointment and didn't have to wait. Cameron gave me a clean cut fade. Took his time and it came out great. Will definitely be returning to this spot. read more

I thought I would try them since they are so close by my house and seem to have good reviews. I got there right at 10 am. There was only one person ahead of me, however, the gentleman cutting hair was more interested in his phone than cutting hair, and he did not seem to mind when I decided to leave. Oh well, you never know until you try them how it will go. read more

If you are looking for a real haircut, this is the place. They don't rush the cut, they make sure it's how you want it. Folks there are also vey nice. Being from Chicago it's great to find a spot that makes me feel like home. Cuts are still $13. You can't beat that! For the ladies they also take care of you here too. They take cash only so make sure you stop by an ATM before hand. read more

I took my son to get his hair cut buy a man named Hugo at signature cuts. It was the WORST experience ever. He was asking my 16 year old son who goes to LC high school so many personal questions, asking if my husband and I get along,if were good parents. My son kept looking at my the whole entire time, I can tell he was very uncomfortable. Not only did I over hear him telling my son he will give him free hair cuts if my son reviles anything that his son (Hugo's) is doing wrong at school. He is very unperfosinal in all ways. The hair cut simply looked horrible. I will never bring my kid back to this place. My son asked please never take me to that place again. My son is to young to be getting questioned and bribed by a older man. read more
