This location gets quite busy but the staff is always attentive and works efficiently to take care of everyone. I ship with FedEx often due to my employee discount, and the staff here never gives me trouble - I've had terrible experiences at other locations where they basically will do anything to avoid dealing with me. Sometimes I will bring an item without packing because I am unsure of the shipping rates, and I've never had a problem getting assistance with that here. I wish I could say the same of other locations, but until then, I will keep giving this location my business. The store is always clean and organized, and it's always a pleasant experience. After checking Amazon, I found similar notepads for about half the price--or less, with many around $7. I admit I should have checked prices more carefully, but I didn't expect such a large markup from Staples. The service and product quality are above average, but the value simply isn't there. I'll only shop here in the future if I don't have time to order online. That said, the young woman who answered my questions on the phone afterward was polite and cheerful. I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store and would not recommend it…read more I went in to ship a bridesmaid gift that I had previously shipped from another UPS Store without any issues. The employee (who I later found out was the owner) told me I needed a larger box and additional bubble wrap but never discussed the cost before repacking my package. I figured if it was too much I could go home and get another box and come back. When I got to checkout, my total was around $75. I expected the shipping to California to cost more, but I was shocked by the price of the packing materials, especially since none of those charges had been disclosed beforehand. When I mentioned that another UPS Store had only charged me $2 for bubble wrap, the owner responded that the other store "must not be doing well." At that point, I decided to cancel the shipment and take my package elsewhere. I understood paying for the bubble wrap that had already been cut, but then I was charged a $15 service fee that had never been mentioned and was not on my original transaction. I was told that fee would only be removed if I shipped through their store. I felt like I was backed into a corner because I had already incurred enough charges that going elsewhere no longer made financial sense. I felt pressured into completing a transaction after undisclosed charges had already been added. Unfortunately, the person handling the situation was the owner, so there was no one else to speak with. This experience left me feeling misled and disappointed. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location to anyone who values honesty, transparency, and good customer service.
