The 2022 Pipeline forest fire near Flagstaff, Az damaged our acreage as well as destroyed our property fences. It left our property vulnerable to trespassers and potential looters. To have new fencing installed will take months due to the large number of losses from the massive fire. The good folks at Signarama quickly came through by producing several large and clearly readable warning signs of No Trespassing and No Forest Access which we posted where our fences once stood. Everyone at Signarama was super friendly, professional and took time to understand what I needed for weatherproof signage. This company really has potential but I wound up truly disappointed, especially for being a larger name. The extra star is only because of the employees efforts, but it doesn't change the fact that I basically had to babysit. I ordered a sign for my building and an a-frame sign. The sign for the building was 14ft long, so it was cut into two pieces (which later found out it didn't need to be). My first quote was $1500-$2000 because of I needed plastic that can have light go through it. After I said I no longer needed that, it went to $800. When I first looked at it, I noticed my frame could not close, as the sign was not cut correctly. I also noticed a large white chunk in the middle, looking like someone shoved a screwdriver In between the signs. Mistakes happen, so I call them and let them know. They were polite and said a manager would call me, so I sent them pictures of what I was talking about. The next day I noticed the sign now fit in the frame, but I never received a call from the manager like I was told, nor was the white chunk fixed. Before I could call them, they called me for payment. I explained it still wasn't fully fixed and I still hadn't received a call from management, they apologized and let me know they would fix it and I would get a call from management. My business partner goes to pickup our a-frame sign, which they rightfully want full payment for. However, they also told him he needed to pay for the sign on the building.. Which was still not fixed nor had I heard from management. I called yet again, made it so he only had to pay for the completed sign, and heard the promise of a call from management again. Staff came out again, but left without talking to myself or any of my management team. I went outside and sure enough that white spot was still there. Frustrated, I didn't call again as I figured they'd call asking for payment soon. Reminder, they don't ask if everything is fixed, it's just for payment. Sure enough, here comes the call for payment. It has to come to the point where I refuse to pay until I talk to a manager. I was able to talk to Garret, who was polite both on the phone and at my store. I explained it was literally as simple as taking a blue sharpie to my sign, and I could do it but I wouldn't be paying full price if I had to get up there and do it. He was apologetic and offered to come to my store to get it settled. I was not there when he arrived, but I come back and don't see a white spot. OH THANK THE DEAR.... Wait.... Did he use a black sharpie on my blue sign? Yes, yes he did. At this point, I call it better than a white spot and debate going and buying them colored sharpies. So I call to pay.... Oh, they don't accept Amex? Hmmmm, my business has to pay bank fees... Wonder why they think they're above that. Well that's okay, I'll use my Discover. After giving them the number they put me on hold to see if they can accept discover. Nope. Seriously, Square is out so anyone can accept all cards for cheap rates, yet you don't accept the two most used business cards? So I send a check but just received yet another phone call for payment. Now I need to waste more time tracking down the check and canceling it. Again, staff was always nice and polite, but follow through with your word! Make sure the customer is happy before continually calling for a payment that is due upon delivery, which in my mind is when it is COMPLETE. For the sake of all things holy, please look into square. That is my last transaction with this company. Sad since they have all of my designs, but a sign company up the road already quoted me half of what this company wanted, so I guess I should thank them. read more
