Hähnchen und mungbohnen Teller - Geil.

In a word - Sri-lankan dishes, if you never tried it... Now is a good time! Longer version (for the brave) - I've passed by that restaurant several times and was always curious about the flavors of Sri Lanka. So a couple of friends gathered and we decided to give this place a try, we took a table outside and went through the menu. The dishes remind me a lot of the Indian cuisine, with lots of curry dishes and spices... But the seasoning is a bit different and the plates are a bit more diverse. The dishes are also a bit "lighter", which is good because you don't have to nap after it haha :) We started with Vadai -(vegetarian) a southern Indian specialty, my friend said the original are a bit fluffier but these ones taste great too. For the main dish I had a mung bean curry and chicken, both made differently and I asked to them to make it extra spicy, I handled it pretty well (and added extra sanbal) so beware if you're sensitive, some of the dishes are spicy from its core :) The plate was very aesthetic and the food was well seasoned and very delicious. Mung beans are a very unusual choice for me and I loved how they made it! In the middle of the plate there was a nice portion of rice and on the side some caramelized onion and a some salad - I loved everything about it. We also got complimentary papadams (sorry if it's spelled wrong) and sambal so it won't be dry Excellent service, fair prices, definitely coming back again!

    Organic meat and delicious curry.

Stumbled upon this place and since we never had food from Sri Lanka before, we needed a little introduction.

An absolutely outstanding Pakistani restaurant…read more Everything on our table was completely outstanding. But I am going to talk about one and only one dish. The Tandoori Duck. * * * We don't usually do Tandoori duck in the U.S., Although exceptions undoubtedly exist. Germany has the advantage of having excellent ducks Which we don't And having duck being very plentiful on the market. The contrast is that goat, which is common on American Indian-Pakistani menus, almost never shows up on such menus here. Here, you also get mutton. So Duck and Mutton are the two "dark meats" that substitute for goat in Berlin. * * * In a tandoori, Duck is absolutely positively amazing. Triple that if you are dealing with a superior duck with a nice lining of fat over the breast bone. * * * Add to that the fact that the tandoori I have had in Berlin has generally been superior no matter where I get it. The tandoori of my youth tended to be a dry affair with red color meat pure and simple. It was cooked enough to get hot. Otherwise it was nothing special - and it was dry to boot. This is not the tandoori of my youth. All of the tandoori I have been served here in Berlin has had outstanding sauces. The Berlin tandoori also has had vegetables tossed in with the meat. The veggies are cooked to al dente perfection and are bursting with flavor. Is this because Berlin tandoori is better than American tandoori? Or is this because tandoori cooking has gotten better than the grim dishes I used to eat thirty years ago? I don't have an answer to that question. * * * Either way, Put a perfect duck into a tandoori over. Add the perfect sauce. Add vegetables cut at the right size to al dente. You die and go to heaven. But mostly the thrills are the duck, the duck, the duck and then the duck. My wife's food was good, and the other Yelpers say the food is good. So you can't go wrong ordering whatever you like. I still say: Get the Tandoori Duck.

My partner and I visited Sadhu on a weekday (we booked a reservation in advance because they allow…read morethis on their website). We were sat in the back of the restaurant which is fine but we were next to a speaker that was too loud :( I ordered butter chicken (my fav) and my boyfriend picked a random menu item so I'm not sure what it was. The chicken was.... Not great :( the butter chicken sauce was really good but I was not at all interested in eating the chicken as it had a weird taste and texture. They have happy hour on all weekdays where cocktails are 5€ which is a good deal. We didn't take advantage of the deal but might not be a bad call. I don't know if we'd go back but maybe I wouldn't get the chicken.
