So I was in town and tried to get a delivery. I thought something was odd that I could not find a…read morephysical location but I pressed on. I eventually found myself texting with someone that claimed to be the company after I reached out due to difficulties on the site. I proceeded as instructed and was told to submit my payment via chime. I did so and inquired about the delivery time and was told the payment didn't go through and asking that I try again. They went so far as to ask for a partial payment for delivery sent me an official looking email it claims came from Chime. I knew it to be false due to some of the information in it. At the end of the day I'm out almost $100 and I learned a lesson. Also per Chime once the money is sent it can't be returned.

As we were heading inside, I passed a girl coming out who looked so much like Billie Eilish that my brain completely short-circuited and I accidentally called her "Billie Eyelash." Thankfully, she knew exactly what I meant and laughed about it. That little interaction pretty much set the tone for the whole visit: good vibes, friendly people, and nobody taking themselves too seriously. Once inside, the experience only got better. As a first-time customer, I was able to take advantage of the new customer discount, which is always appreciated. More importantly, the staff actually took the time to help me figure out what I wanted. I wasn't looking for someone to point at the most expensive thing on the shelf and send me on my way. I had questions, I explained what I normally buy, and the budtender took the time to walk me through options that actually fit what I was looking for. Shoutout to AK, who was incredibly patient and helpful while my husband and I stood there trying to make decisions. I even managed to get what might be the most studious-looking photo ever taken of a budtender. The man looked like he was preparing a dissertation on flower selection. I ended up picking up some flower and a pre-roll, and I left feeling like I got exactly what I came for instead of settling for whatever happened to be on special that day. What stood out most to me, though, was the atmosphere. Everybody working there had their own personality. You'd see someone covered in tattoos helping a customer on one side, someone else who looked like they should be coaching a high school sports team on the other, and another person who looked like their mom's life goal was making sure they stayed focused on school. Somehow it all worked perfectly. The staff was a mix of completely different people, but everybody was welcoming, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. That's the kind of place I enjoy coming back to. It felt comfortable, not intimidating, and definitely not pretentious. The Sanctuary is also dangerously close to my house, which means they may have accidentally gained a regular customer. Great service, great atmosphere, helpful staff, and a genuinely welcoming vibe. Sometimes you walk into a business and immediately feel like you belong there. This was one of those places. And at the end of the day, it's kind of funny that a bunch of completely different people can come together over one common interest. That's exactly the energy this place has. And I hope no one took any disrespect for my version of my first introduction because I mean everything with the most sincerity and love .

Which at Stiiizy, would be like 6 bags! Which would have 10 in each baggy. Not here! It would have only been 2 packages and a total of 20 pieces. Not worth the price. My friend bought a bunch of stuff. It wasn't till we were about 15 minutes away. That I realized that I left my ID. No one on staff said anything!!! Yet, they clearly had to know. They didn't call me and let me know. By that time they were closed. It wasn't till the next day. When I called them and they checked. Thank GOD they had it! Not that it was in question but who knows. The most frustrating thing was... I called and got put on hold for 8 minutes!!! (This was the manger's line!) I don't think they were coming back on the phone. I called back and got a lady this time. She was not friendly at all and rude!!! Which is surprising since the staff there are so friendly! I guess management doesn't believe in good customer service!?!? On top of that all. When I went to pick up the ID. There was no apology! Nothing!!! Oh and they had easily 50 to a 100 IDs stuffed in this container. Like an old tin money container. Like you use at a garage sale. To hold all the money! I bet they haven't reached out to any of those customers!!! Which is really bad customer service and retention! If you are missing your ID and have gone here. The last time I placed an order I was notified of when the order was out for delivery and received a text when the driver was close. Ordering through the site gave me the same option to have texts sent to me with the status, but outside of the initial order creation status, I never received further texts/updates. Up until half an hour ago I was under the impression I ordered too late and would have to try again tomorrow. Anyway, iPhone now has a horrific setting on by default that silences calls not in your contacts. The driver called repeatedly this evening to get in touch with me and I didn't see any of them as a result. Had the status updated as usual or were I messaged through text or their online portal I likely would've seen it since I had both pulled up on my computer. Just seems like a strange inconsistency in operation to only occasionally send texts. Especially when the person who placed the order is non-responsive. Not docking more stars because had I known about the iPhone setting this wouldn't have happened, but I'd expect the business to either never text or always text you - especially when they present the option and it functions as intended some percentage of the time. EDIT: Ordered again the following day and had virtually no issues. Increasing the score to 4/5 stars, docking one because the online tracking still didn't update - same thing for the text service. However, the driver called 10 minutes before arrival to let me know he was close. The exchange itself was quick and easy. I'll just add as a final note to not rely on the online tracking or text messaging service. Keep your calls open and it should be smooth sailing. Also, your first order is discounted which is an awesome bonus. Will buy from them again.
