I took my 15 year old cat in for a wellness check and his shots on June 2, 2026. Doctor was not…read moreconcerned that my Popeye has lost 2 pounds in 2 months, and also said his heart was strong. Took him back 2 weeks later for an arthritis shot, and Popeye had lost another 1/2 pound. Dr wasn't concerned. Also, at this appointment I had taken my 6 year old who doesn't like strangers. My 6 year old bit me (not any of the staff), but they decided to also wrap my frail 15 year old in a blanket to give him a shot. Popeye was my 15 year old, and he NEVER tried to bite vet tech giving him a shot. In fact, when he got his vaccines on June 2, he acted like he didn't even know he had any shots. Took Popeye to a different vet on July 2 for a comprehensive senior check. They immediately found a severe heart murmur. They did labs and the next day told me his creatinine was 8.1. They expected 2-4 days based on his numbers. He lived another 36 days after that diagnosis. I would never recommend Wolf Creek to anybody.

I'm soooo disappointed…read more.. I'll preface by saying the Vet we saw and the vet tech (I think Bre or Breanna) were nice and we had a good experience during my puppies exam and vaccine. We are first time clients. We booked due to SOME good reviews and decided to ignore the reviews about the money gouging that some others experienced. We thought the first exam free was a great customer pull and showed they weren't really money hungry. Wrong. Due to unexpected circumstance I completely spaced our first appointment yesterday. They called me an hour after the visit was to happen and told me I no showed. I was so apologetic and explained I had completely forgot and was out of town. The girl on the phone was kind enough and explained the no show policy and offered to reschedule for the next day. I agreed, acknowledging the no show policy, and then rescheduled with no issues. She never mentioned on the phone that because I had no showed I would no longer be eligible for the first exam free promo. The next day we went to our appointment and showed up 15 mins early. We waited the full 15 mins until appt time due to the front desk being on the phone. No issues for me. I understand. The girl at the front had to ask a tech to get the other girl because she "didn't know where she was". There were 3 customers waiting at this time. The other girl came out and had a stank look on her face and rolled her eyes behind the first (blonde) girls back. I didn't like that, but not my drama. We check in with the blonde front desk girl. She was very nice but did not mention that the exam would not be free and I would have to pay $87 for it. We go back with the vet tech, she's so kind. We see the Vet. He is also kind. No issues. We go to the front to check out. The original front desk girl (blonde) tells me my total. It included the $87 exam free, I explained I had the email for the free exam coupon. She apologetically said that their policy is that if you no show, then the free exam is no longer eligible. I told her the puppy didn't have an exam yet though, this was her first one. And that I wish someone would have told me. That that really sucks. She apologized and I said it is what it is, and paid my total.. I said "it really sucks that you can't honor it because we are first time customers and we made a mistake, is there anyone you can ask?" They told me there was no manager there. I said okay. While blonde girl was getting my printed receipt, I said aloud "don't you think it kind of leaves a bad taste in your customers mouths that they are expecting a free exam and weren't told the no show policy made them not eligible?" The other chick with dark hair had an attitude and explained badly that since the time was wasted for the Vet with the no show, the free exam disappears since it is scheduled as a free exam. I said "okay well your free exam coupon doesn't state that on it. And no one told me". She half rolled her eyes and said with an attitude "I'll pass that along." I grabbed my belongings and my receipt and left and told them to have a good day, she sarcastically said "you too". I am just whole heartedly disappointed. The lack of compassion and understanding was disappointing. The lack of communication was disappointing. It's not the money, it's the principle. But maybe to them, it is the money like the other reviews said. I just couldn't believe they would be that way with a first ever customer, who is bringing you an 8 week old puppy who would have likely been a patient for the next 12 years, and they would have gotten a hell lot more than $87 dollars out of me during that time. I wonder if the Vets who work there are aware their front desk girl, and first exam bait and switch is losing them long term customers. I take accountability for the first no show for my first ever scheduled appointment. If it would have been communicated to me at the reschedule call or at check in I would have been more understanding. I will be canceling my puppies follow up and going elsewhere. I suggest you do the same. Two starts only because the vet tech was great. Otherwise it would be a 1 star.
