We walked in and all together there were about 15 already by opening at 1pm. It took awhile before we even got our drinks let alone our food. She did bring all of the tables water but the 2 groups before us had way better service and more attention. We did order food and it all came out separately, 2 of us ate without the 3rd because they forgot to make my mom's sandwich. We've been wanting to try this place for a while and thought we'd stop by since we went to the flower market event. I loved the sandwich, we all did actually. The wine options I chose were also delicious. I like the vibe and the ambiance the place has I just wish they had reservations for bigger groups like that to accommodate small tables and especially those whom never been there before. I will go back for sure to try other food items and wine options as well, maybe just have to pick a different day to go.

From the moment you walk in, there is a sense that baking here is not just a craft -- it is an art form. There is something magical about stepping into a French bakery, and Parisien Bakery delivers that feeling in full. The French have elevated baking into a cultural experience of indulgence and beauty, and it is on proud display here. Approach the glass case, and it feels like browsing a gallery of edible masterpieces: pastel-colored macarons stacked like delicate jewels, glossy fruit tarts shimmering under the lights, and éclairs lined up with precise elegance, each filled with silky, decadent cream. Sweet Highlights The sweet selections are where Parisien truly shines. Standouts include: Sweet crêpes Éclairs Macarons Croissants Maple cronut Fruit tarts Turnovers Each item showcases careful craftsmanship, balanced sweetness, and visual presentation that rivals high-end patisseries. Their French Roast coffee is bold, robust, full-flavored, and always piping hot -- the perfect companion to any pastry. Savory Options On the savory side, the breakfast sandwiches, omelet croissants, breakfast popper, and the Parisien sandwich are all solid and satisfying choices. While well-prepared, they do not quite reach the same magical heights as the sweet offerings. The croque monsieur and croque madame are especially intriguing and worth trying on a future visit. Atmosphere & Experience The ambiance is cozy and charming, laid out to be reminiscent of a sidewalk café in Paris. With both indoor and outdoor seating -- including street-side dining -- it is an inviting place to linger. A glassed-in kitchen allows guests to watch pastries being crafted in real time, adding a layer of authenticity and appreciation for the skill behind each creation. Warm, friendly service rounds out the experience, making it easy to see why this bakery remains a local favorite. Parisien Bakery is not just a place to grab breakfast or dessert -- it is a small escape into French culinary artistry right in the heart of Old Town Clovis.

The coffee here isn't as flavorful as Chez Maryse either but I did like that there's more vegetarian options, the prices are decent, and food not too greasy. While I was too stuffed for dessert, I was told that desserts are tasty. It's not a big place so on a cold day there are very few tables inside. But it's still a decent place for brunch while exploring Downtown Clovis and just across the street from the most bomb antique shop :)

Their blue "caribe" smoothie contains pineapple, mango, dragon fruit, blue spirulina, and avocado. For $8.99 you get a 24oz smoothie! Coming from the Bay Area - these prices are unbeatable. The flavor is very tropical and the blue spirulina adds a very bright blue color. The dragon fruit was cut in front of me and they were very generous with the amount of fruit. There's a nice and quiet seating area by the self check out area if you want to grab a bite to eat in store. My partner had carne asada quesadilla and it came out piping hot! The quality of ingredients in the market tastes and seems very high. This is a great stop if you're grabbing food on the go.

It is so clean, organized and stocked. It is easy to figure out where you need to go to get what you need. I like all the different stations that they have, they even have a sushi station, which was impressive. The pricing is great on everything. The bakery is beautiful. I wanted to buy every cake just because of how pretty they looked. The floral station was so beautiful, especially right now for Valentine's Day. I recommend to get your bouquets, plants and balloons here. I did not actually buy anything because I do not need anything right now, but I was drawn to their prepared chicken bowls, and their immunity shots, which are half the cost from other competitors, so there is healthy options here for people who are trying to make better choices. Overall, there's something for everyone here amongst all cultures. Definitely check them out.
