However, when the Dentist came in to let me know I had SEVEN cavities, I was completely taken aback. My last dental checkup was 6 months ago, and I only had a small cavity at that point. Once my appointment concluded I asked the receptionists to send me my X-rays. I then visited with my regular Dentist at Brisebois, and they said and I quote, "I don't know what that Dentist was looking at, but it couldn't have been from these scans". He assured me we would fill the one tooth that was bothering me non-invasively and sent me home. I find this urgency to tell people they have cavities and to get them filled when they are possibly non-existent is malpractice and unethical. I can only imagine how many people have come to this office and been completely lied to and scammed. Drilling into a tooth should be an absolute last resort, and the Dentist here should not be practicing if she is that money-hungry. I am appalled, to be honest. I wish that anyone who comes here goes to another office for a second opinion because I can assure you it will be a very different response. Find yourself a dentist who doesn't want to destroy your teeth, and cares about your health and long-term wellbeing

Not only did we get the chance to meet and greet, but they even had a "Fun" free introduction day for kids. They did the office up in Dr. Seuss theme, with a free goodie bag (including a full Dr. Seuss book!), tour of the dental chair and tools, face painting, craft stations and much more. Although Springbank Dental is quite a bit of a drive out of my way, Dr. Szott and his staff make it worthwhile. I am actually wanting to transfer over myself from my close to home dentist. I highly recommend!!

But the worst part is that the person who did their cleaning was so rough on their gums by their wisdom teeth that they have been in pain for a few days now and it's affecting their life quite a bit. I was hoping it was just sensitivity from the cleaning but it just seems to be getting worse days later. They had no pain in that area prior to this visit. But now they have no more coverage because of the excessive charge on the visit that caused them the pain. So I'm not too sure what they are going to do and it's concerning. From the moment I walked in, the front desk team was super friendly and helpful. They made check-in easy and answered all my questions about scheduling and costs without any confusion. It's always nice to walk into a place where the staff actually seems to care. They even submitted my portion to the insurance so I didn't have to deal with it and only paid my portion which is super helpful financially. The dental assistants were great too and they were super professional and reassuring. I was very nervous to get a root canal but they made sure I was comfortable the whole time, explained what was happening, and checked in with me throughout the procedure. It made a big difference in keeping me relaxed. Dr. Singh was fantastic. He explained everything clearly, took his time, and made sure I wasn't feeling any pain. You can tell he really knows what he's doing, and I appreciated how calm and professional he was throughout the whole process. Overall, I had a great experience at Signal Hill Dental Centre. No one wants to get a root canal, but if you have to, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend Dr. Singh and his team! I have been going to this dental centre for years. They have always been courteous, professional…read moreand caring. They deal directly with my insurance provider and have always worked with me in terms of providing me with quality care within the bound of my coverage. They always consult with me when things may need to be done outside of that and we work out the best course going forward. I have always had a lovely experience there, but most notably through the pandemic where they have always had an eye toward the safety of both their staff and their patients. I cannot recommend them enough.
