ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!!…read more Hard to believe that I can sit here and type such a comment as the above when only a week ago I had my mouth opened up for a 5th wisdom tooth (that had somehow gone unmentioned by my dentist over the past 21 years). I can only assume that the dentist assumed no harm no foul if she is not complaining about it. HOW WOULD I HAVE KNOWN OTHERWISE ? Well, fortunately for me Dr Shawn Higashi took me on an emergency referral and scheduled me for extraction within a month of that first visit where he said many things but the one that sticks in my head "that is one mother of a tooth". I went into the surgery a little nervous because I was concerned about pain but felt COMPLETELY CONFIDENT IN DR HIGASHI I was right !!! Amazing care and attention Dr Higashi and his Staff were AAA+ I was educated prior to my surgery, and checked on 3 separate times via phone calls to my home (husband) in the hours and days following. I couldn't have dreamed of a more comfortable surgical experience. SERIOUSLY!!!! I doubt I will ever see them again because I haven't any need to, but if I ever see or hear of anyone having oral healthcare issues,.... They were sorry.... Well there we are trying to find a way to apply ice to my son's cheeks. This is BS. A fancy office, lousy service and to top it all off a ridiculous bill. In the Alberta where dental fees are not regulated and we pay the highest dental fee in the country, all I ask is that we get treated right at the appointment and not be a waste of my time. You can read my Yelp review of them if interested. Back to Toothville... it is a small dental clinic but the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The appointments were on-time and I felt like my business was valued there. Also, booking the appointment, they try to fit you in within a reasonable time frame. From my two visits here, I am quite impressed with the this dental clinic. I hope they do not change the way they service their clients. I will be doing an update review in the future.

Robin, the front desk associate was very professional, easy to talk to, offered to retrieve our records from our dentist in Kelowna to mitigate the cost of various x-ray etc. On my first visit I met the hygienist, Tiba and she is absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable, gentle in performing her task and she made sure that I felt as comfortable as possible. I definitely recommend to have TIBA to be your hygienist at this clinic. The same impression made on me Dr Gill. Although the visit with her was limited to meet-and-greet, I had this feeling that she truly cares and don't push onto you unnecessary treatment.

My Mom woke up this past Saturday morning with an unbearable tooth ache, and after having called…read moreher regular dentist to no avail, we started researching walk-in dental clinics in Calgary. We decided to try Expressions Dental (formerly Petra Dental Group) because they take walk-ins and emergency appointments. They told us to come in right away (My Mom's regular dentist, whom she's been going to for the last 20 years, said the earliest they could get her in was Monday night at 7pm). As soon as we got there, we were greeted by two lovely ladies at the front who had us fill out some information. Within 5 minutes, my Mom had already gone in to see first the dental assistant Casey, and then the AMAZING doctor, Dr. Lori Gee. Dr. Gee suggested she pull the tooth, which she did, and scheduled a follow-up appointment for one week later, which will be free of charge. 3 X-rays, 1 tooth pulled and a follow up appointment ended up costing $295, which is EXTREMELY reasonable, considering my Mom's regular dentist charges $200 for the Xrays alone. It's now been 2 days and my Mom is feeling a lot better. If it wasn't for Expressions Dental, she would have spent the entire weekend in bed with unimaginable pain. Thanks to this great place, she's now already half-healed. We've officially made the switch and will no longer be returning to our regular dentist, because let's be honest, loyalty is one thing, but foolishness is another. The team at Expressions Dental is one of the best I've ever encountered in a dental office and because of their professionalism, accomodativeness, expertise and affordable prices, they have gained a valuable customer. If you're unhappy with your current dentist, I strongly urge you to give the fine people at Expressions Dental a try. You and your teeth will thank me :)
