Sheets/Cost Sheets. 6. Sewing the garments up to specifications. When it comes to Alterations. I follow high standards for quality alterations. That are delivered fully press or steam. Consulting with the client every step of the way. 1. I delivered on time, with accuracy, and in under a week or less depending on the schedule of course. 2. I work on scheduling the clients. I only will offer quotes at the studio premises. Where the garment (s) can be assessed in and on the person. 3. With that being said, part of my job was to ensure our deploying Airmen were outfitted with new uniforms prior to heading of to Iraq/Afghanistan and all the other places you've probably never heard of. With the massive Operations Tempo of the Security Forces Squadron, this meant 4 uniforms per Airman, 13 Airmen per Squad and an average of 4 squads per Quarter. (You do the math!!) That's a lot of uniforms!! And that accounts for only one Squadron's Deployment commitment!! Martha and Jennifer are two of the hardest working ladies you'll ever meet! They may close at 6 pm, but that doesn't mean they aren't sitting at their machines until 10!! Likewise, they continue their work at home, on the weekends! We had many last minute changes/substitutions on the Deployment Teams and they never batted an eye. They always managed to support our extremely unrealistic deadlines. I have since retired and continue to take my alteration needs to Sew What? The shop is small but has a great feel to it. Chaotic at times but I always try to stay for a few minutes just to talk and catch up. (I don't see them near as much as I used to!) I could go on and on... Bottom line... Don't take your alteration needs anywhere else!

Michelle calmed my nerves and over the span of several appointments, made my dream dress fit perfectly. I couldn't recommend Michelle any more highly, she is a consummate professional that is an expert in her domain and affordable. From shirts to pants to formal wear, she is absolutely the person to go to. Except if you have leather--she doesn't do leather!
